Everything is working. Outside the hotel looks old but inside the room is looks very good. Good location
Front desk staff were exceptional - had lots of good information about beautiful mammoth lakes. Room had a balcony.
The room really needed dusting, vacuuming.
The hotel is a great location. We were able to walk to restaurants. They were the only place available on short notice on the Booking site that would take my dog.
The hotel charged a nonrefundable $45 dollar fee for the dog which was not published in the Booking.com reservation information. This is a large enough fee to make me choose a more expensive hotel. In addition, the maintenance in the room was awful. The paint job in the bathroom was so sloppy that I couldn't believe it had been done by a professional. In addition, my son, who lives in Mammoth, reports that there are reports of bedbugs in the room we occupied. I now have a rash...I am very concerned.
Did not honor booking.com promotion price. I was charge regular price. The daytime personnel came in to work late. Breakfast wasn't available until almost an hour later than the announced time.
The young man at the front desk. Very nice and helpful..
Location was great.
The TV in our room was garbage. It screamed at us the whole time. Not a nice day to wind down. The fan in the bathroom was so loud I opted to take a bath with the flashlighton my phone. This hotel is in need of a few upgrades.
Convenient and priced right for a one night stopover.
It's not what I'd choose for a vacation.
This us an ideal location for walking trips
Staff were friendly and helpful
Hotel carpets were all filthy, bathroom fittings were tatty. Floor in room was lopsided (big structural problem) Room had no self catering facilities apart from fridge and microwave. How can you cook. Only good for popcorn, no other utilities. B'fast was fair but plastic cutlery and Styrofoam plates is just plain tacky. Wasn't good value for money, and we are from a 3rd world country!
The property is older and worn, but the new owners say they are investing the money to refurbish the property. The rooms have been repainted and that's a start. They are trying hard, and that's refreshing.
Very detailled advise where to go hiking and what to visit around. Very friendly people!
Hot tub out of service
Professionalism of staff, informing of bears at night so no food in cars. Coffee and cookies all day. Clean, near shops.
Air horn to scare off bears at night.
Location is good, staff is helpful
Hotel is outdated, there is no breakfast area
very old and run down.
-Breakfast provided -ac worked great -hot water in shower -mini fridge and microwave worked great. -location right in town
-staff not very friendly -no shampoo provided -towels did not smell "clean" -room had an odd smell -floor not well vacuumed
Staff let me use their microwave! 24 hour fresh coffee in lobby
Microwave in room broken, spa and sauna closed for maintance my entire trip
The location within the town is not bad, understanding that the town itself is fairly small.
Staff at our arrival was as cold as a block of ice. The surcharge added for a pet is out of proportion and is the most expensive charges I ever paid in a "Pet friendly" hotel, even comparing it to other Travelodge where we stayed. Nothing in the website – regarding the amount of the charge - prepare you for this expensive charge which, therefore, can be changed as we go simply based on the customer face. Staff knows that you will have to take the room anyway or you will lose the price of the room because it is already too late to cancel. You are just trap and nothing you can do…..We have travelled around in few different states and rarely wrote any review for an hotel but I cannot hold myself on that one, my 4 lbs dog stay was more expensive than mine and it does not have breakfast, bed and do even used the shower. Not to be placed on your wish list
Nice staff. Lovely surroundings. The town with a big choice of restaurants. Wi-fi good. Breakfast ok.
quietness of the place
the breakfast was held by the reception, with only 3 tables which was ridiculous coz there were 10+ guests in the room. Some people just had it stood up and hence blocking other people to pick up their own breakfast. I couldn't bit sit up so i just Grabbed an apple - There were not much more available anyway, which given the high price i paid for a night is also sth i didn't like
It's a good location to take a rest when i drove from San Francisco to Yosemite National park in same day for my road trip. (Next day when i was heading to Death Valley, it gave me more time to explore the Death Valley)
Set back off the main road just enough. Close to restaurants and cafes. Underground parking was nice as well.
Unfortunately the sauna and jacuzzi were down for maintenance.
Clean room, comfortable beds, good location, friendly staff.
Only 3 breakfast tables, you have to wait for other people to finish their breakfast or join their table which is a bit forced.
Very tiny breakfast room, almost always packed.
Location near Twin Lakes and snow fields Games room with fusball and pool table Light breakfast included
Pillows to tall for a comfortable sleep Air in the hotel is very dry and made it hard for me to sleep I could hear water running through the plumbing/drains overnight
Good value for money. Great location for major attractions. Beverages and cookies free all day included. Clean and no major issues. You get what you pay for.
