Location is really good.
Bathroom was dirty and disgusting. I barely wanted to shower.
the staff was kind. in england this is a basic hotel, in orlando could not be worse
dirty, no windows, terrible smell, cockroaches...
The sheets were very clean and comfortable and liked that the hotel was very close to the Amway Center. Price was decent for downtown Orlando..
Hotel is in very run down shape. TV's are ancient. Pillows are HORRIBLE! Bathroom is falling apart and looked horrible. (No Bathtub, not that we would have used it) Ice Machine only on first floor. Entire hotel is in dire need of renovation.
Good position in Downtown, 5 minutes on foot from Central Station, the central hub of every bus in Orlando and new train station. 5 minutes from Lake Eola, with good relaxing facilities. Good bed; room with coffee facilities and microwave, very useful.
Everywhere in the hotel, and in the room, there is a bad smell of mildew, maybe due to the fact that it's impossible to open the windows and change the air in good way.
You get what you pay for! I checked into this hotel and checked out 1 hour later due to the state of my room. Reception didn't even ask why I was checking out....they must be used to poor reviews and complaints
The room was disgusting, the bathroom Was deplorable! The toilette had remenance of the previous person, the soap was used, the shower had hair in it!! It was evident that the room wasn't cleaned. The room was unacceptable for a family to stay...we left after 1 hour and were asked no question a as to why we were leaving. I
Location Microwave & refrigerator
urinated smell near our room, filthy carpet
Front desk staff were all very friendly, helpful and extremely thorough.
Cleaning staff left something to be desired. Generally rude and their cleaning seemed to be lackluster. Parking can also be a challenge later in the evening.
Location was the only reason we booked the room, but it wasn't worth it. We will never stay in a travel lodge again.
Room smelled. Bathroom wasn't clean. Bed sheets were very old and had holes in them. The wifi didn't even work. Wouldn't use the coffee maker it was dirty.
The location was definitely the best part of the hotel, perfect for a night out in downtown Orlando. There was nothing fancy about the hotel, but it was clean and the staff were efficient and friendly.
I don't understand where all the negative reviews come from. If you want five star service and matching infrastructure, then book a five star hotel. On the other hand, if you want a more basic (but clean) room at an excellent location, with ultra friendly staff and at a price only slightly more than a hostel, than this is the place.
The coffee machine in the bathroom right next to the water is maybe a little dangerous?
The location was good, it was walking distant to things downtown but the location did not feel safe and the room was dirty. The bathroom had hair in the tub and sink and their was a dead roach on the floor.
The clerk at check in, Bob, was awesome!! I wish I could take him for check in at every hotel we stay at!! The beds were very comfortable too.
As soon as we walked in I could smell a mustiness in the air. Our room was horrible. The shower did not turn off all the way so it dripped all night. This was the smallest bathroom I have ever been in. The shower was disgusting with missing tiles and an empty spot where the soap dish used to be. The light switch at the door worked the TV and when we slid out the dresser to see if it was plugged in the molding fell off the wall. It's a shame that the only thing comfortable about the room were the beds!!
Better outside look
The shower is moldy
good location, close parking, friendly staf, good price
no breakfast in hotel
I have never been treated worse by a front desk employee in my entire life!
Good location for downtown Orlando and the Orlando executive airport.
Not the cleanest place . The room and linens were ok ,but the bathroom needed more attention.
It was a great place to stay and the staff was amazing! Big rooms and big beds. I loved it
It was a little complicated to get the suitcases through the stairs but it was not that bad.
Location is excellent. Park Eola is just 2 blocks away for a walk at night in a nice lighted park. There is a dinner next to the hotel with 10% off for hotel guests and good food. Anything you need is in downtown. The king bed room was big and comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. The parking was good and free with parking pass.
The hotel carpet is stainned.
Customer SVC excellent and maids did a good job considering the condition of the room
The room, dirty needs refurbished
Hotel should be upgraded. Considering location
The location is perfect, the restaurant next to the hotel is great and the front desk manager was very professional.
Please check your final invoice, they charge for Phone service and safe.
The location it is just perfect, in the midle of downtown, few steps away from the nightlife streets. The hotel is basic, but has all that needed (hairdryer, towel, toiletries and a Swimming pool as well!- on the street though). Staff is lovely, cheerful and very helpful!
The only thing we didn't like is that after two days the room stinks a little as the big wide windows cannot be opened.
Close to downtown.
Guy at front register was very nice, clear and helpful. Room was big enough. Balcony to nice view to sky-scrapers. There is a cafe near hotel. Good place for breakfast and lunch.
Towels and bedding were dirty. But you can see that it is very old dirt and they probably cannot wash it out. Bathroom needs renovation.
