Very close and walking distance to Lake Eola and downtown to enjoy activities. Front desk gentleman was very nice and polite. Premises look clean.
Towels very rough. Found hair on my pillow case, didn't look very clean and glad I brought my own pillow and blanket. Shower look bad and toilet had no caulking around it and you could see hole by base of toilet floor. This place needs a renovation. Room rate a bit high for it's condition but luckily we were splitting the cost.
Very friendly and helpful staff
front counter people were very helpful
The room was not clean. The light switch did not work. The main lock to the door didn't lock.
The front desk attendant was very nice. It's close to everything down town.
The room was musky and the sheets were old. The bathroom need to be updated. I wasn't expecting the ritz or anything but they could do better
Staff were courteous and accommodating, helping us get a cab to our recreational destination. Price for this location was good, but....
Carpets were stained, shower was a bit crusty and the drain plumbing was slow, & pillows were limp.
location was good staff was pleasant and helpful
pretty run down mold/mildew odor
Close to Lake Eola, main bus terminal and Sunrail. Public transport to and from airport. Good wi--fi. Good value for downtown Orlando.
Musty smell in corridors. Room comfortable but very worn bathroom with patched tiles - definitely needs facelift. No restaurants nearby except Subway.
Bathroom wasn't clean. long black hair everywhere
Location is really good.
Bathroom was dirty and disgusting. I barely wanted to shower.
the staff was kind. in england this is a basic hotel, in orlando could not be worse
dirty, no windows, terrible smell, cockroaches...
It was the cheapest place we could find in Orlando - about $35 a night so we weren't expecting luxury. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Rooms were fine, although a little mouldy in the bathroom. Walking distance to some good diners / restaurants and 30 mins from theme parks
Nothing really. You get what you pay for, you won't be blown away but it was really nice that the staff were friendly and not miserable like in some other budget or even more expensive places
The sheets were very clean and comfortable and liked that the hotel was very close to the Amway Center. Price was decent for downtown Orlando..
Hotel is in very run down shape. TV's are ancient. Pillows are HORRIBLE! Bathroom is falling apart and looked horrible. (No Bathtub, not that we would have used it) Ice Machine only on first floor. Entire hotel is in dire need of renovation.
Good position in Downtown, 5 minutes on foot from Central Station, the central hub of every bus in Orlando and new train station. 5 minutes from Lake Eola, with good relaxing facilities. Good bed; room with coffee facilities and microwave, very useful.
Everywhere in the hotel, and in the room, there is a bad smell of mildew, maybe due to the fact that it's impossible to open the windows and change the air in good way.
You get what you pay for! I checked into this hotel and checked out 1 hour later due to the state of my room. Reception didn't even ask why I was checking out....they must be used to poor reviews and complaints
The room was disgusting, the bathroom Was deplorable! The toilette had remenance of the previous person, the soap was used, the shower had hair in it!! It was evident that the room wasn't cleaned. The room was unacceptable for a family to stay...we left after 1 hour and were asked no question a as to why we were leaving. I
Location Microwave & refrigerator
urinated smell near our room, filthy carpet
Front desk staff were all very friendly, helpful and extremely thorough.
Cleaning staff left something to be desired. Generally rude and their cleaning seemed to be lackluster. Parking can also be a challenge later in the evening.
Location was the only reason we booked the room, but it wasn't worth it. We will never stay in a travel lodge again.
Room smelled. Bathroom wasn't clean. Bed sheets were very old and had holes in them. The wifi didn't even work. Wouldn't use the coffee maker it was dirty.
The location was definitely the best part of the hotel, perfect for a night out in downtown Orlando. There was nothing fancy about the hotel, but it was clean and the staff were efficient and friendly.
I don't understand where all the negative reviews come from. If you want five star service and matching infrastructure, then book a five star hotel. On the other hand, if you want a more basic (but clean) room at an excellent location, with ultra friendly staff and at a price only slightly more than a hostel, than this is the place.
The coffee machine in the bathroom right next to the water is maybe a little dangerous?
The location was good, it was walking distant to things downtown but the location did not feel safe and the room was dirty. The bathroom had hair in the tub and sink and their was a dead roach on the floor.
The clerk at check in, Bob, was awesome!! I wish I could take him for check in at every hotel we stay at!! The beds were very comfortable too.
As soon as we walked in I could smell a mustiness in the air. Our room was horrible. The shower did not turn off all the way so it dripped all night. This was the smallest bathroom I have ever been in. The shower was disgusting with missing tiles and an empty spot where the soap dish used to be. The light switch at the door worked the TV and when we slid out the dresser to see if it was plugged in the molding fell off the wall. It's a shame that the only thing comfortable about the room were the beds!!
Better outside look
The shower is moldy
