Price and they were nice enough to let us have a 1 hr later check out because we had arrived so late the night before.
The facilities are old like the shower but everything worked ok - very little water pressure. The room also smelled too much of cleaning product.
Musty smell Poor door lock- needed staff help to get in
Consistent reliable comfort
Shuttle available to SFO, just minutes away. IHop restaurant next door, and Houlihans across street at Holiday Inn, both within walking distance.
Room was very dated, some of the tiles in bathroom were cracked, and some wear noticed around doors. Cannot imagine when it was last updated. Even though, it was very clean.
Nothing !! piss poor run down nasty place....
The location by the airport and the free shuttle service which work efficiently are perfect if you try to find some comfortable sleep between two flights
The room didn´t smell quite good and the bathroom didn´t seem quite clean to me.
We got there late and it was scary walking around there at night
The staff was great
The house keepers were very nice
Everything was very nice
parking is not a problem, at least.
The room conditions are poor, old and dirty, In fact, saw a spider running around. The shower does not have enough running water even you turn it to the max. Tiles need clorox to whitens it The bed is not comfy and need new carpet.
I liked the convenience to the San Francisco Airport. I also enjoyed that it was next door to an IHOP's and across the street from a McDonald's. The beds were comfortable enough to get decent sleep.
This motel was extremely run down and looked and felt as if you were going to see a roach crawling up the wall! There were cracks on the sides of the bathroom and front door frame. The carpets had multiple iron burns, the furniture was watered and abused. There was a plethora of unsightly neighbors. It was very noisy outside our door and seemed more like a cheap motel used for soliciting sex! I was so grossed out I didn't even take a shower. I slept with my clothes on. I was in bldg 7 all the way in the back closest to the Grovenor's Hotel. I'm not sure about the other buildings but this one sucked!!!!! NEVER again will I return.
Staff was friendly
NOT JUST 1 or 2 roaches, a literal swarm, all over the curtains and furniture and our heads. They came out at night after we had been in the bed for about an hour. Need I say more?
We paid half the price of the cheapest room in the city which enabled us to get a car (free parking too) and see so much more of San Francisco and surrounding area! Our first room was disappointing, it was HUGE but soul-less and dated but most worryingly the window glass was loose from the frame, the heater was very old and VERY noisy so we had a very cold night and we could not get the wifi! We began to regret booking and even considered checking straight out and finding somewhere else but we asked to move room and our second room was great!!! Still slightly dated decor but that doesn't bother us, we had a much more modern TV, a brilliant heater/air conditioner and we could get internet (although it was painfully slow). The room was much smaller with no fridge or microwave which we had in the bigger one but was so much more cosy and comfortable that we didn't care too much. We felt at home straight away and relaxed. There was no breakfast at the hotel but the IHOP (International House of Pancakes) was right next door with a very affordable menu so that was great. The pool looked great but was far too cold for us to try as it was December. We would return
When we did get the internet it was very VERY slow and meant we couldn't do anything with it which was frustrating.
It was nice being able to watch The Daily Show-- so, basic cable?
It was unsettling having to walk to the very back of the property, which was poorly lit, past guys talking about their court dates outside their rooms.
tub in bathroom had rust stains and paint coming off. air conditioner unit smelled like dog. the rug was awfully dirty was afraid to take off our shoes.overhang above door outside was dry rotted. overall a dilapidated place
The hotel is old and durty
Free airport shuttle every 30 minutes, just go to the airport and take the BART to anywhere
Carpet was so dirty, feels like its wet. Bathroom door was hard to close and open (really hard). Large leak from the ceiling (It kept growing). NO ALCOHOL is sold north of the airport, you can't buy a beer. Internet only connected occasionally and then it was super slow. TV broke the very 1st night; add that to the internet and bath room door & we had to change rooms (which was only accomplished after I called booking.com).
a) The room was was very clean and i tipped the housekeeping lady.
a) The Wifi Internet access was very poor and that brought about a lot of problems on staying connected. b) There was no fridge available in the room. c) The front line staff was discourteous especially the night shift young guys. They do not at all greet the customers.
late evening noise in wall, probably plumbing, fog horn sound, rm 603, possibly
location to city center and the shuttle
staff was not very knowledgeable or helpful.
The SF Travel Lodge saved us! I don't have a huge budget, and I had to catch a flight at 6:00 am (I was coming from Sacramento.) I envisioned a terrible scenario of all-night driving and/or taxicabs, red eyes, etc., and thank goodness I decided to stay here. Great staff and excellent shuttle service.
Alas, at times you get what you pay for. The room, although clean, was in need of an air freshener, smokers of yore were noticeable. The room was also distant from the front office, so I still had to wake up my brother (at 3:45) to drive me and my luggage to pick up the shuttle. But all in all, I would return to this hotel.
House-keeping were helpful. Internet access McDonalds just across the road
Heavy traffic into Downtown, 30 minutes by car going but bumper to bumper at 5pm,( to be expected from a busy bustling city) . Food at IHOP next door terrible- go to Mc Donalds. Room smelt, given air freshener and told carpet had been shampooed. Thin walls and floors, hear neighbours. Shabby and needs investment to compete with Days Inn and other comparable motels/hotels
This hotel is not for families flying in/out of SFO, esp with luggages. Checked into rm 718 on Dec 3 with my wife & 2 kids. Been travelling US/Canada for 3 weeks. Hotel had no bellman or staff to offer help with luggages when we checked in. Took my wife & I 10 mins to push 2 trolleys provided by hotel, from lobby to Rm718. Trolleys of poor quality. Could not handle weight of our luggage. On entering room, found carpet wet. Paint on wall peeling off. Many other hotels nearby. Best Western next door would be better choice. So avoid this hotel....
Room was big and clean.
Navigating through the complex is a bit difficult, especially without a car.
