We really liked the welcoming manager! He helped us with everything we needed, including suggestions on what to do in the area. We were very satisfied with our stay at Travelodge Burlington.
The wifi didn't work very well in the room where we stayed.
Pretty inexpensive and not too far from Burlington. Pleasant staff and our room was exceptionally clean.
Beds were very uncomfortable. Outdated in general.
Room was okay, the bed was comfortable. Not bad for just getting 5-6 hours of sleep and moving on.
bathroom was small and in need of repairs. breakfast was typical hotel food
Wifi staff and breakfast!
Proximity to Burlington, room cleanliness, breakfast good and included.
Needed more blankets, difficult to get a parking spot near the room and it was pouring, needs another helper in the breakfast room.
new king size mattress
no refrigerator in room lack of water pressure in shower
our room had new mattresses which were very comfortable. The room looked recently remodeled was very clean and the front desk young lady was very nice.
I think most hotels are overpriced. This one included even though we got an on line discount.
The beds nice and comfortable
The breakfast we had to leave and go to Denny's cross the street
Good breakfast included. Staff helpful and polite.
Room small. Felt cramped. Older building. Some remodeling but needs more. Over priced but may have been due to fall colors.
The room appeared clean and the travelodge was easy to find The breakfast choices were good and so was the food.
the a/c seemed to shut off frequently some other rooms close to us had pets that needed to be controlled.
The girl at the desk was polite and helpful and the breakfast is fresh, well displayed and organized. The rooms are also well equipped.
The wi-Fi was not working very well and I had work to do. Being awaked by a loud voice telling us batteries are low in fire alarm was not pleasant... followed by dog barking a little later and sound of people walking overhead.
See above...COURTEOUS STAFF!!!
Flimsy mattresses...Inadequate parking lot...very crowded!
Good price. Staff very nice and helpful. Nice shower.
Place needs more renovation. Windows were in bad shape. Some would not open. Some would not close. Beds were a little worn out. Seems to be in the middle of renovation. Maybe it will be better when they are finished. Old musty air-conditioner.
The room is very large and bed very comfortable. It was also very clean.
The wifi was ridiculous.
I was worried when I drove in that this was just another highway side no tell motel. It looks like one from the parking lot. But I was greeted by a lovely young woman and my room was newly refurbished and tastefully done. No floral quilted bedspread! The lock on the door to the hallway/outside was solid and secure. The bathroom was clean and modern.
I am not sure how much more lipstick can be applied to this "pig" as it was apparent that the buildings had been built in the 50s and maybe this is the last time an update should be attempted before starting over. The AC unit was pretty loud and the windows were really dated. Plumbing looked aged.
Beds very comfortable. Very clean and homey. Close to where I needed to go. Close to places to eat.
Location to the Shelburne museum & access to restaurants and stores.
Older motel - really poor workmanship in the run down bathroom. The room did not have curtains that closed to block out the light from the parking lot. Not very private when people are walking past your room!!!
Staff Clean bathroom and room
No wifi in room 118, yes the staff said we could switch rooms but that's after unpacking and trying to relax and a speech of how wifi is everywhere on the property, cracks in walls, no parking they should be numbered for the rooms. We ended up by the pool and in the bank next door because there was no where to park.
Location, bed, quiet
Breakfast was cold, tasteless or worse.
Discounted price was the only good thing
Staff not responsive to the requests. They forgot to call a cab even though we made a reservation two times.
proximity to shopping center - the desk clerk on Wednesday morning (august 13th) was so over-worked but was still very polite and courtious. Appreciated the breakfast and free toothbrush (my daughter had forgotten hers).
The clerk upon arrival on tuesday August 12th (arrived approx 1pm) - very abrupt, argued with me about pricing, amount of people and their ages registered as the package purchased on-line was not the same as Travelodges 'policies' - she was just very unprofessional. The decor in the room and the smell was horrible - carpeting was humid - this was definitely not a hotel but more of a motel. Beds were way too small for two people - there should have been atleast one queen in the room. Not enough pillows (one small flat pillow per person)...
The comfort of the bed. The breakfast.
The pool is not heated. While seated around the pool, too much noise from the street.
Staff - Tracey at the desk was most accommodating. We asked for room, she obliged willingly. The property is on a very busy street (Hwy 7) and the building is old but recent renovations show a pleasing color scheme and comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff, and the older couple that clean the rooms were most efficient and work so hard to ensure your room is perfect. The breakfast was perfect, generous assortment to suite most, and includes fresh fruit and Activia yogurt!
The property is old, and tired, albeit the reburished rooms are tastefully decorated. As we had left it late for our reservations, the prices in the area are high anyway. The Travelodge was economical but not a room to spend time in. The pool is facing the highway, but seemed to be enjoyed by the many children++ the parents dropped off there. Eventually, perhaps the hotel will spruce up the stairwells, and carpeting that indicated years of wear. Only other thing was the smokers that stand outside their rooms to smoke (non-smoking property). Hard to avoid the smell when its that close to your entrance. This is a great last minute overnighter lodge, but don't expect frills. You get what you pay for, and at that, they do well.
Location in relation to UVM, restaurants, and other city attractions was good.
The room was old, smelly, and rundown, except for the bathroom, which had appeared to have been renovated.
