Room was very clean, carpet appeared newer, beds were comfortable, towels were new, room was large, good WiFi, breakfast was just fine - great room for the cost. Would definitely stay there again.
Could use more electrical outlets. I reached to find something I didn't like.
Room was big and comfortable all be it a bit dated. We only stayed one night prior to going to the grand canyon.
The guy at the front counter had no personality and barely interacted with us. The place is a little run down with cracked windows and there is a fair amount of noise at night from the railway lines at the back. We were woken a couple of times. Next time we travel here I think I will look for somewhere else despite it being cheap.
The lodge was very quiet and comfortable. Waking up in the morning and looking out the window was refreshing.
Hard to see the sign from the main road to locate the building. A large juniper tree is blocking the sign coming from one direction.
More of a motel
I think the fact that trash was in front of our room & toilet not being clean and finding a dead bug in our room
Decent location; near train tracks but it was quiet at night.
Old property; very hard bed (I woke up with a sore back, unusual for me)
It is not that easy to find , they should have bigger sign
They have rooms with two king beds which can be useful for groups. The wifi was decent. Very good option for a budget price.
Sheets and pillows were a little dirty.
The location was good, The room it self wasn't too bad. The outside does not do the inside any justice because the inside of the rooms do look like they have been updated so that was a good surprise.
I was extremely disappointed with the price. I expected to pay 179 because that what the website told me, then when I got to the hotel the price went up to 206 for hidden tax fees and a 4 dollar fee just to stay there each night! He said it was in the fine print okay thats fine, but when I accidentally checked into the kings location a little down the ways on route 66 they did not have these fees. I was tempted to tell him for get about it, but too bad I would have been charged for not showing up too :/
Good location, good value, quiet, clean and comfortable.
Clean and quiet
Kind of hard to get to. If I wouldn't have had a GPS it would have been more difficult to find.
The tables in the breakfast room are all high tops - not accessible to guests with disabilities
The price was 125ish. The beds were comfortable. There was a Microwave and a fridge in the room. There was a continental breakfast. I enjoyed my stay in Flagstaff.
The office smells funny, not clean. It looks like a child painted our room. Paint on the doorknobs, molding- very amateurish. The hook was off the back of the bathroom door, they did not take down the hardware, just painted over it. There were aunts in the bathroom. I made sure to check the beds-no bugs. It did not feel like a safe area that you could go out and just walk. It was really noisy around 6 am, like people were getting up to work and were talking in the parking lot. There were horns honking for people to get up. When you turned the microwave on, the TV shut off. The web site gave this place 3 stars, this is not possible what would 2 stars look like?
The room was nice, nothing fancy. The bathroom had been upgraded and was the surprise of the stay. Good location, not much noise from other guests or surroundings.
The staff was a little lacking as far as communication. Didn't figure out the wifi login until the next morning. They could be a little more helpful when people check in.
Pleasant room, central location, near a number of eating places.
Poor breakfast, toast, cereals, muffins.
The room was nice.
The guy at the front desk was incredibly rude, refused to give his name. We got there early and asked if an early check in was possible. He was very rude and said "the rooms aren't clean until 3. Do you want a dirty room? I can give you a dirty room". He then said we could check in at 1:30. We came back and I asked for his name and he said "you don't need my name". I saw the name of the manager on the wall and asked if that was him and he said "yeah, use that name". As though he was used to getting complaints and that's why I wanted his name. Room was good but with that customer service, I will never go back. I can see others have complained about the same horrible customer service and apparently management is ok with it since they give a standard response and nothing has actually been done about it.
Clean, Smelled good, quiet.
The bed size.
The bathtub still has the used soap from the former guest; my parents' bedroom doesn't have the comforter---the only duvet cover is what they had for the cold night; the facility is noisy due to the ongoing freight trains during night time; the broken door key.
manager on duty doesnot meet customers with a pleasent face !!
We liked the price.
Beds were hard, pillows lumpy and the bathroom had been refurbished, but the toilet was too large and the door had to be cut around it.
All was good would just suggest better curtains in the room to block the sun. Once the sun came up the room was very bright
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The price was reasonable.
The guy at the front desk was not friendly at all. Zero customer service skills. Extension cords used in rooms with multiple items plugged in was a bit "different".
Good value for money. Go yo the Galaxy diner half block down the road for something to eat . Suited our purpose after a day at the Grand Canyon
Terrible wi fi
The updated beds were nice.
There was an infestation of ants sll over the room on the countertop in between both beds and the amount of ants that trailed across the bathroom left my son too scared to go in the bathroom to brush his teeth or use the restroom. I wanted my money back I never felt so uneasy over ants being all over the place.
The 2 king size beds!
