It's very reasonable price. Staff was friendly and Breakfast is a must especially this is a one night stop.
Train tracks runs not too fair from the hotel; You get a wake up call about every 45 mins as the trains passes by.
Bedding looked iffy..kinda dirty.
The room was nicly updated and the beds comfy. Breakfast was good need some fresh fruit and yogert. I would stay again!
The wall where thin and my neighbor s could be heard . the tv was very loud. The train track is not to far from the hotel so you can hear the trains and they start early. Bring ear plug!
Practical hotel. Good value for money.
Great for the price You don't notice the freight trains going by every 5 minutes.. And I'm a light sleeper
Breakfast was less than satisfying.
I liked the spacious rooms which was perfect for our family of 3. Also, enjoyed the two King size beds! The ro felt very relaxing & I was surprised at the rate of 35.00 a night for that comfort. I also liked the mini refrigerator & microwave in the room because we could keep our 5 year old's juice & snacks in there. Overall, very pleased by the openness of the room for the price.
The room came with a complimentary breakfast located in the front office. Wished they offered fresh fruit (bananas, oranges, or apples) as a breakfast option. Not much of a selection for breakfast, but I guess it's what I paid for. The room itself--very decent & roomy. :)
We only stayed one night driving through so we bought pretty much the cheapest room we could find. We were suprised at the huge size of the room, remodeled bath, good wifi.
The sheets were had a lot of static cling. Felt like I was getting poked all night. Breakfast was a joke, coffee and packages of sweets or toast. That's not breakfast. Wi-Fi kept messing up also.
The location and it was clean.
Had a hard time finding the street to turn onto. But once figured that out it was easier.
Was a very nice clean room beds where good. Staff was helpful and friendly when needed. Very nice price :)
The sheets bedding didn't fit on the king bed wouldn't stay on .. The breakfast was not very good weird pancakes orange juice wasn't good at all jelly tasted weird .. Went elsewhere
Regarding the room one gets what one pays for.
The men who did the check in late at night as well as the check out at 11 in the morning was one of the most unfriendly people we ever came across in a hotel. He did not explain anything at the check-in and when asked questions he gave one-word answers in a very rude tone. I'm disappointed price should not justify bad service!
We were assigned a room and upon entering that room and searching for the light switch, a woman yelled out "What are you doing?" I stumbled over my words and let her know that the man at the desk had given us the key to this room. She yelled "shut the door" to which I promptly complied. I went back to the front desk and received a new room assignment. I was shocked upon hearing that woman's voice but she might have been justifiably scared. I found it hard to stay asleep that night because the light from the parking lot shined in on the sides of the drapes.
Good location and good facilities.
Great customer service and clean comfortable room!
The room smelled of a powerful cleaning agent. We burned a scented candle and aired out the room a bit before we could relax.
The room was very clean, staff was nice location was good and breakfast was great for the price of hotel would stay there again!!!!
Room was very clean, carpet appeared newer, beds were comfortable, towels were new, room was large, good WiFi, breakfast was just fine - great room for the cost. Would definitely stay there again.
Could use more electrical outlets. I reached to find something I didn't like.
Room was big and comfortable all be it a bit dated. We only stayed one night prior to going to the grand canyon.
The guy at the front counter had no personality and barely interacted with us. The place is a little run down with cracked windows and there is a fair amount of noise at night from the railway lines at the back. We were woken a couple of times. Next time we travel here I think I will look for somewhere else despite it being cheap.
The lodge was very quiet and comfortable. Waking up in the morning and looking out the window was refreshing.
Hard to see the sign from the main road to locate the building. A large juniper tree is blocking the sign coming from one direction.
More of a motel
I think the fact that trash was in front of our room & toilet not being clean and finding a dead bug in our room
Decent location; near train tracks but it was quiet at night.
Old property; very hard bed (I woke up with a sore back, unusual for me)
It is not that easy to find , they should have bigger sign
They have rooms with two king beds which can be useful for groups. The wifi was decent. Very good option for a budget price.
Sheets and pillows were a little dirty.
The location was good, The room it self wasn't too bad. The outside does not do the inside any justice because the inside of the rooms do look like they have been updated so that was a good surprise.
I was extremely disappointed with the price. I expected to pay 179 because that what the website told me, then when I got to the hotel the price went up to 206 for hidden tax fees and a 4 dollar fee just to stay there each night! He said it was in the fine print okay thats fine, but when I accidentally checked into the kings location a little down the ways on route 66 they did not have these fees. I was tempted to tell him for get about it, but too bad I would have been charged for not showing up too :/
