Excellent location, beautiful view, great value for the money. We will stay there again
price was reasonable. staff was friendly. room was dated but had good bedding and appeared to be clean.
nothing to complain about
Location was good
Older rundown motel. In need of some serious maintenance. Wifi rarely worked at our end of the motel.
the bed was comfortable the room was clean
little noisy early in morning
Reserved smoking room. Owner advised they already rented the smoking rooms to others so did not get room that was reserved.

Well located for our needs, nice grounds, pool and layout. We love the old style motels of our younger days where you drive up to your door. Also, the parking spaces are very roomy with lots of room for loading and unloading, especially roof racks. Very pleasant sitting inn the big rockers right outside your door in the cool of the evening.
beds and mattresses are not up to snuff. Mattresses too hard with not enough padding. One tiny pillow per person, about the size of a childs piillow. Think it was a little overpriced on weekends
Older motel but very clean and comfortable
close to everything.
needs a little updating but will go back
Nice clean hotel at a great price.
There was nothing we didn't like.
We had some bike trouble so we did not get there as planned, they did not charge me for the night we had to cancel even though I did not give them 24 hours. We stayed 2 nights and they gave me the same rate as I got through Booking.com
The people (1 couple and 2 little kids) in the next room booked on line and they got the room for $44 where I booked for $55
Pool sitting desk outside of bathroom
Dark, could use some updating
Wifi beds fair
no handicap rooms. Parking lot and access to door not for handicap. Bathrooms not handicap accessible. Would not recommend this for anyone with a handicap. I had reservations for August and came home and cancelled them. I will never stay there again. People should know this before making reservations. I put on my reservations that I needed a handicap room. Live and learn as they say.
No dressers for clothing
great location.. the king room was better than the double rooms.. Two parts of the hotel one seem newer. Little updating is needed but was good for the money. Bed comfortable, AC worked and guests were all very friendly.
Everything was great.
The location and the view
The beds in the double beb rooms are small
the price was right for my budget.. staff was accommodating - the first room i was assigned to was in the two story building on the property. i could hear all movement from the room above and when i asked for another quieter room, was giving a nicer larger room in the one story building... the view from the hotel is beautiful. convenient location to smokies national park...
the first room i was checked into had no sound proofing from the room above and i could hear every footstep and noise through the ceiling. the pergo/woodlike floor felt like it had been laid in over the carpet it was so spongy. not really a con, but just sort of strange
The parking lot had nice wide parking places and I backed my pickup up to my room. Nice parking lot. The property was clean with a cool little pick-nick area and garden with a water fall garden like surroundings. My Boston Terrier was welcome too.
Bed was small but I will book again if I get to return to Maggie Valley.
The location was very convenient to surrounding shops and festival grounds. It was within easy walking distance. The staff was accommodating and friendly.
We stayed on the bottom floor of the two story building part of the motel. We could hear every little noise from the water running, toilet flushing and stomping around upstairs. The noise from the road was terrible. The walls were very thin.
Didn't like having people above us. They were very loud walking and taking 2 showers at midnight.
it was quiet and peacefull
room next to road walls paper thin lot of road noise
Rooms really smoky. Light switches did not work. spider webs in windows and Lamps. Never ever stay here again. Worst hotel ever. Swimming pool was nasty. Terrible place to stay for the price.
Great value for the location
