The location was very convenient to my office. The staff was friendly and courteous. There was no closet in the room. I spent the week with all of my clothes draped over the desk chair! The temperature in the room was consistently below 65 degrees. Repeated calls to the front desk didn't help. The themostat in the room doesn't control the temperature.

I loved the staff. They could not have been more helpful. The room was small but bed was super comfy. The rate was phenomenal. The room was clean and supplied with the right amenities. I was in the middle of the Little Italy and Tribeca. The neighborhood was a little dicey at night. Otherwise - love, love love this place.

Modern and clean. Good location-especially for the subway. Very reasonable rates for NYC. Small room and short bed (and Im only 5ft 2inches tall). Walls were quite thin.

The location was great. Hotel was located in a heart of Tribeca. Soho, Little Italy and China town were just in a corner. Cool area indeed. Rooms were tiny but very cute with a small docking station for smartphone. I loved it. Wifi worked well. Few of the female receptionist were bit impolite but the guy that were there was nice. The tax over the actual hotel prize shocked a bit.

The hotel was clean and tidy, had all the needed facilities. The room was tooo small - no space for two people to move around though the room booked was positioned as a deluxe one. The staff is friendly but not that willing to help: my card was not accepted for payment. It was said it didn't work (and it was the only place in America in 2 weeks it didn't work) and no attempts from the staff side were made to settle the situation, so had to waste my time and money on going to atm...

The clerk on the next day and the young girl who checked us out, were very helpful and friendly. The position was good, but we were constantly harassed to buy fake goods from Asian women outside the hotel. I booked a twin room in January for an April stay. We arrived to be told that there was not a twin room available and that we could only have a King Room. When I told the check in clerk, he told me"well, the room in bigger and we will bring up a cot". I did not pay good money to sleep on a cot. The next night we were changed to a twin room. The clerk on the first night had a bad attitude.

Subway station is right next to the hotel. Canal Street is quite busy, however reasonably priced restaurants can be found close to the hotel.

- Location - staff (though some staff are friendlier and more helpful than others) - value for money - one of the housekeepers were very friendly - allowed late check out (noon) - kept the baggage for us after check out - Pick up service from airport did not turn up. Manager called to follow up though. - housekeeping could perform a better job in cleaning the bathroom walls and toilet. - check in procedure could be faster - water pressure fluctuates throughout the stay which sometimes was a little annoying - road works in the middle of the night but i suppose that is beyond the hotel's control

The location is wonderful and very central to all the fun stuff. Room clean and bright and new. Staff efficient. New York drivers really do drive with one hand on the horn and you can hear them all night - but you get used to it - not the hotel's fault. The bed really is a small double - almost a three quarter - great if you are on your own but two regular sized people can struggle.

The hotel staff were very friendly and kind. We did not encounter any particular issues that required any special attention but it is nice to see that the personnel seemed helpful and attentive. Otherwise the hotel is very well located if you are interested in walking around in southern Manhattan. You are practically a stone-throw away from Chinatown and Little Italy, walking distance to the WTC Memorial and Brooklyn Bridge. For longer distances there is a subway station immediately in front of the hotel doors; yellow lines (N,Q,R) stop there and on the other side of the street one can take green line (6) which will take you up all the way, through much of the eastern side of Manhattan. The room appeared to be newly refurbished. While cheap for being in the heart of Manhattan, it's still expensive to stay here (from the perspective of a young couple) unless you have pretty good income. The hotel does provide any breakfast, which is good to keep in mind. However this is not a major problem as Starbucks is quite literally "just around the corner" for those who really need their morning coffee and bagel. Otherwise there are a couple of small things that we found to be irritating: our room did not have a toilet brush or a towel hook. I am not sure if the toilet brush was forgotten or not common in the US, but I found it particularly distasteful.
