Loved the staff! The decor is beautiful and functional. Food was very good. Price was worth it. My favorite part of NYC within walking distance.
Exellent location Very professional staff Easy access to East and West side of Manhattan
Restaurant and room service: slow response and inattentiveness to detail -- wrong order Added gratuity to the check
location, bar area
was noisy one evening when bar was very busy noticable as so open plan
hotel staff location view
bathroom shower elevator noise bed
We were there for a weekendstay, celebrating my boyfriends birthday and it was just the best weekend! Stayed in a room with city view, rm 609, so woke up with a view of Freedom Tower each morning.. Upon arrival it knocked on the door, and we were given a complimentary bottle of champagne as a birthday present - never had that before, but it was just great!! Would recommend this place to anyone!
Location, comfort, value
Darkness of the room that we stayed in.
Easy check-in with complementary glass of champaign. Bellman was very helpful, very easy to valet the car, front desk very helpful and friendly. Decor was really cool and hipster. Nice atrium lobby. Ask for a high floor to get a better view.
Room was a little dark and bathroom counter could have been a little more functional, even though it looked nice with the brushed stainless steel. Could hear through the walls.
I like the inner courtyard design. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. It was clean and there were no pests. Internet was fast and reliable. Subway is a minute away.
No coffee makers in the room. NYC hotels are very expensive.
Location Very comfortable bed Hotel atmosphere upbeat Nice restaurant
No refrigerator - just mini bar- we rearranged a few things in it in order to put a couple of our own things in No microwave No vending machine or convenience store to buy pop, water, snacks, etc. luckily we brought our own- of course they do have a mini bar but prices too expensive. No coffee maker in room - they serve it in a seperate room on each floor where the ice machine is- in the morning. However we never saw it- not coffee drinkers. Also extremely limited space to relax in lobby. They have a beautiful area in lobby with couches, chairs, tables (super comfy) but it is part of the restaurant and you have to order to sit there.
Enjoyed the great Tribeca location. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable. Bicycles available for use.
Noise level very high late Saturday night due to loud music from the bar (the hotel has an inner atrium where all rooms face). The fitness center was too hot to work out for an extended period of time.
Location & staff
They didnt let us to make late check out. Even half an hour.
Location Bed Bathroom products Helpfulness of staff, particularly Bell and reception staff Nice bar area Quirky but very comfortable
No place to hang towels in bathroom Rooms quite dull and dark in colour
I like the location and the creative vibe of the hotel and the beds are sooooo comfortable
Would like tea making facilities in the room and bathroom area around sink too small
Very cool, well decorated and a bit quirky!
Our shower was awful. We asked for it to be looked at but no one got back to us about it.
Great service, warm staff and everyone was helpful. Loved the doormen who had on the white shirts and Khakis! They got us cabs when needed and helped with anything.
The Bar was overpriced. Go to the many places outside and eat.
Beautiful room and bathroom, amazingly comfortable bed! Friendly and helpful staff. In the morning (sunday) there was live music playing in the breakfast area
Minibar was overpriced even the non alcoholic drinks
The room is located in a nice neighbourhood, nice rooms.
The staff while extremely helpful seems to be too busy and sometimes it takes a while before someone attends to you. We had ordered a cake for my Husbands birthday that we wanted to take with us but they took so long to try and find it that we had to eventually leave the hotel without it for our dinner plan.
Great location Excellent staff Nice room
Rooms a little dark No view as it is a low rise building
I really liked all the staff at the front desk and around reception. I loved how the young chaps looked in their chinos and white shirts. The only disappointment was the staff in the dining room. They were most unfriendly and the food was overpriced. The one breakfast we had was not great.
Nice staff and comfortable hotel
The room and the communal areas were terribly dark, after couple of days really got to you. Food not brilliant either.
The Tribeca Grand Hotel was like an oasis of tranquility in the never ending hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Very polite and accomodating staff...quick and efficient check in and check our. Within 3 blocks of 2 subway lines, easy access to the theater distrct and Lincoln Center via the red line, nice bars and restaurants in the neighborhood plus an excellent brunch from 11-4 on weekends, comfortable rooms with great beds and modern bathrooms with nice showers, free wifi, welcome cocktail, delicious hot chocolate...and a cool "in" place which also offered tranquility after busy moments in other touristy places in Manhattan...we would definitely return
The only "down" while we were at the Tribeca Grand was that the cofee/tea/hot chocolate machines were being replaced, so we missed our early morning start to the day
Hotel staff is good abd the hotel itself is cozy.
The hotel in downtown area which is not clean area of New York city.Uptown area looks like better.
Communal areas of the hotel (bar restaurant etc) were excellent as were the staff.
Room did not look as though it had been upgraded in years, though it was clean and everything worked ok.
The location is perfect, walking distance to everything, tons of good restaurants in the neighborhood and right on the subway line for when you want to get to other neighborhoods. The staff was also beyond wonderful.. everyone was super helpful and really friendly. Wi-fi was fast.
We had to move rooms a couple of times (due to circumstances of our own doing, not the hotels) and in the last room the bathroom was terrbily small and uncomfortable. Also, just a pet peeve of mine, there were NO towel racks in any of the bathrooms. Can't quite understand this inconvenience.
