Good location and decent layout
Air Conditioning was super noisy. Had to wear ear plugs to sleep at night. Raised threshold between sleeping area and living was a big safety hazard. Old couch had spring that were worn out and not comfortable to sit on
Great value for the money. Love the newer 4 and 6 bedroom cabins with the private baths and large kitchen areas for bigger families.
can't think of anything
As long as you realize you are staying in a park like resort this is a fun spot for families. Our room had a good size common area with TV, sofa, and chair. We had a kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom. There were two swimming pools within steps of our room that the kids really enjoyed. Rustic but fun.
We thoroughly enjoyed access to the lake. The grandchildren enjoyed the climbing structures and the pools.
The beds could use an upgrade. They were much too firm.
The serenity of the location. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Wi-Fi did not work for the first half of our stay. Made it difficult to find locations, and times of the things we wanted to do.
Very kid friendly. There was so much to do without even leaving the resort! Staff was very helpful and upgraded our cabin for no extra charge.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a plumbing problem about 10 pm on Sunday evening. They came immediately and fixed the problem which included having to roto-rooter and clean the bathroom.
There was nothing not to like. We will stay there next time we go.
All the pools and hot tubs. Walking trails, boat dock, lake access.
The place is old and outdated. Was built or done on the 70's and gas not been updated since. Old wall wood paneling. Shower stall to small for 1- small person only. No tub. Smells like old and moldy. I think they have mold as are whole family starting coughing the next morning and didn't get better until after we left. My wife felt bad the whole stay there and only felt better after we left.
The privacy and the location. It was very private and the location was prefect. The cottage was well maintained and very comfortable.
nothing to put here.
The atmosphere was nice great view.
Heater would not come on unless you turned it to 80+ degrees and you had to plunge the toilet every time it was used and it made a gurgling noise throughout the night.
How friendly the staff was
It was very quiet, peaceful & close to Silver Dollar City.
Bring your own drinking water. The sulfur taste in the water is pretty bad.
never have met a nicer staff who really care about their guess to make sure their needs are met.i will stay there again next time I'm in the area. thank you very much for being so kind john davis
there was nothing not to like
Location is Close to Silver Dollar City Some Nice Woods Views Office Lady was Nice
Office Smells like a Litter Box Building is OLD and Moldy! All 4 Rooms are a Tight Squeeze to Say the Least The Odor of Mold and Mildew is Over-Powering on 1st Foor Tiny Microwave takes at least Dbl Cook Time Outside is Rustic but Okay, Inside Looks and Feels like a Mobile Home from the 70's Webs in Every Corner Mold Growing in Each Bathroom Dangerous Stairs for Young Kids Not Much Cheaper than FAR Better Options Just Down the Road Beds are Hard as a Rock Entire 4 Bdr 2-Story Building stayed 80 Degrees Whole Visit, No Matter What Temp was Set at Made a Mistake Booking Here and will Never Return
An upgrade was ready for us when we got there which made our stay even more comfortable.
Location and arrangement of cottage. Beautiful surroundings.
Very out-dated. Not as clean as expected. Pictures on website misleading. Beds in very bad shape. Most television channels very fuzzy. The type of cottage we got was not the type described in our booking. Some what disappointing.
The unit was dated, but clean. We liked having a kitchen. The staff were very friendly. The price was great. Location was great on Indian Point near Silver Dollar City.
Nothing turned us off, we got what we expected.
We had a large cabin with 4 bedrooms and there were 8 of us, so we had plenty of space. The bbq outside was nice and we cooked in a couple of times.
We had a scorpion walking across the floor our first night there. I wish we had towel changes automatically done and not have to put towels outside to get any. Also the kitchen and the rooms were not filthy, but were not as clean as I would have liked them.
Price very good, and the location also.
Decor set in the 80's, loud ac wall unit, no door screen
Quiet. Doesn't feel like a motel.
My bed was harder than is comfortable so I slept on the couch.
