Walking distance to Disneyland
Disappointed in cleanliness and spaces for parking
Extremely close to Disneyland Staff was VERY polite, courteous, and helpful Bed was comfortable Good feel/ambiance (no florescent lighting)
It is what it is- a low star hotel super close to Disneyland (meaning it's expensive) No offered breakfast Can hear people walking above sometimes if you are on the first floor
It was an easy walk to Disneyland and California adventure world, comfortable enough.
Room was to small for a family of 5, pool in much smaller than the picture, and located in the middle of the car park.
Disneyland across the street from hotel
As far as hotels go, this was a bit pricey for the average family. I would normally not spend that kind of money on a hotel, but we wanted something close to Disneyland.
We are glad that we decided to stay here. It was literally across the street form Disneyland. The staff was super friendly and no one bothered us. The pool was open until 10 which is cool. Overall we are very happy with our stay and we plan on booking here again:)
took 2 purses along. one small to carry into Disneyland. another for my wallet. left behind larger handbag in hotel room. hotel staff very, very helpful in returning my item. so relived it was safe with such knowledgeable staff. truly thank you.
The location of room and allowing us to park in your facilities even though it was not time for us to check in. That gave us more time to spend at the park until our room was ready. Thank you very much!
everything was great!
It was very close to Disneyland.
Beds are no way close to being queens. Very uncomfortable for 2 people. All 3 nights were bad sleeping. Only reason we booked tropicana was due to location.
This property is within easy walking distance to both the Disneyland Resort and many big chain restaurants.
If a light is on in your room, anyone who is passing by can see inside. This knowledge made for a fitful sleep. I suggest putting in a heavy curtain that can pull all the way across the window so that people cannot see inside. The side partial curtains are pretty, but they leave you feeling vulnerable.
We loved the proximity to Disney Parks! It was a fairly easy walk and very convenient! Parking fees were reasonable and we felt very safe.
The extras were a bit sparse. Nothing we couldn't fix by asking but it's always embarrassing to have to ask for more than one bar of tiny soap for a family of four staying for several days. And the television options when you have small children in tow were Very Limited.
Pool area, location, large room, comfy bed
Thin walls. Noisy neighbours.
Room was small for the 4 of us
Very good hotel, close to Disneyland and restaurants.
Very close to Disneyland.
No breakfast meal for a pretty expensive stay comparing to best western. Very small vanity area for a family of 5.
walking distance to Disneyland.
taxed on everything parking tax bed ccupancy tax 15% assessment tax all per day!asked for 1st. floor room 2 months ahead.they didn't give I to me yet sent me an email 2 days berfore to welcome me yet they didn't tell me they didn't give me the room I requested.i had a bad knee and the put me on the 3rd floor! cannot take the elevator cause It wood set off my vertigo, staff was not helpful at all.
The rooms were well above average in size and cleanliness. We chose the Tropicana on value for money and location, right across from the Magic Kingdom.
My stay was wonderful. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The room was perfect no issues at all. I will stay again in the future. Thank you to the staff for a great experience.
The room numbers were confusing but the staff helped with that.
I loved that I could hop out of bed and be right next to Disneyland. McDonalds and IHOP were right there too. The swimming area was nice and the rooms were very comfortable
I disliked how the elevator was on one side of the property... I had a stroller so I had to walk all the way around to get to the bottom floor
close to everything we needed and disneyland. great coffee in the harbour cafe.
We had a nice room with a comfortable bed. Air conditioner wasn't working when we checked in but they fixed it quickly. Very nice staff.
No breakfast. Prices at the market were pretty outrageous.
Awesome location for Disneyland
Right across from Disneyland
convenient comfortable room close to food, Disneyland, etc at an affordable price
The price for our room, especially considering the location (right across the street from Disney/California Adventure) was excellent. Our room was clean and everything (coffee maker, refrigerator, air conditioner, microwave, plumbing, etc.) worked perfectly. Staff was courteous and helpful. I also liked the fact that we were able to store our bags after checking out so that we could go into the parks without having to tote our bags or rent a locker.
Not a thing. It was a great experience.
The staff were able to accommodate our early arrival from Australia so we could sleep after our long flight and then visit Disneyland in the afternoon. This kindness was very much appreciated. The pool and spa were wonderful for tired travellers and you can see the fireworks from Disneyland at night time. The hotel is close by the Graylines bus stop for the day trip to Universal Studios and also for LAX airport. It is within walking distance of Disneyland and we could come and go during the day at our leisure. I would warmly recommend this hotel to families and would love to return there one day.
A minor quibble is that the towels for the pool ran out on a heat wave day but it did not bother us especially. I felt particularly sorry for the valet parking guy waiting in the heat all day. The choice of breakfast cereals is limited in the shop next door to the hotel.
