This Las Vegas Strip resort is an imitation of New York City known for its 150-foot Statue of Liberty model. A state-of-the-art casino, rollercoaster and luxurious shops await guests.
Score from 3345 reviews Very good
Pool is very nice, but crowded, especially since part of poolside area was closed off. Price was excellent. Parking very convenient.
Food court is awful--way too few restaurants and too little choice. Compare to New York, New York, for example.
The staff were very helpful and friendly The room was very comfortable
The smell of smoke everywhere. The food at the beach café was cold and too expensive for what was provided, ate mostly at MGM. A coffee maker in the room would have been welcome.
I love the Tropicana! It is my favorite hotel in Vegas and I have stayed here regularly over the past few years. I love the location and the fact that it is a smaller casino and I don't have to walk 5 miles through the casino to find my room.
This time was unfortunate. The first room we were given was a bit tatty to be honest. The furniture was chipped and older looking and the bath had quite a few enamel bits chipped on the bottom, so much so that it put me off having a bath. I went to reception and was told that these were their best rooms (no they aren't because I've stayed in much nicer rooms on all my previous visits) but the lady was very nice and immediately apologized and gave me another room. It was better but still not as nice as any of the others that I had stayed in previously.
We had a lovely holiday. Stayed 12 nights in October. Room clean, food and drinks good, staff were always helpfull. I would certainly recommend. Car park easy access from room.
Location is good.
There are not many choices of foods available for Asian customers at the hotel.
Everything. We will be back
The bed was extremely comfortable.
My view was of the service yard so I had the noise of deliveries. No fridge or coffee maker in the room. Toiletries were poor standard. Rude staff. No late check out option. Resort tax of $20 a night. Breakfast was $21 each. Not the standard I expect from a Hilton.
The safe had to be drilled out to get open then no one ever came to fix it. Also need more food choices not even an ice cream place
They advertise the beautiful pool but never open it up, someone spewed in the small crowed pool and they still didn,t open up the great big beautiful pool, they just closed the pool and sent us away. So mad and disappointed as my family just arrived after driving and flying for 30 hours and all they wanted was a swim, not happy at all, and the carpet was smelly in places of the hotel, that musty smell, very cheap price hotel and the old saying is you get what you pay for
Nice outdoor pool but was only half open.
Dining options were limited compared to other Strip Hotels. No coffee available in room. Room was just a bed.
Public areas light. Staff friendly.
Not able to get red wine at pool, as only thing I drink spoilt whole pool expierence when I was staying for 11 nights
I wasCharge twenty Dollars for using the facility? I only sleep for six hour, that is low! !!!&#$$&
Pool closed early
When we were moved to Second floor, Bungalow section all went good
We arrived late because of travel by car inconvenience due to weather and we were assigned to a 1st floor doble room w balcony.Balcony in fact was useless facing the road.Plus: no hot water to take a shower..some insects inside..one main lamp not working..power supply beside tv damaged --> room not as expected from Tropicana rate..after spoken with staff they planned to move us to another room the day after because there was one...
The location. Atmosphere. Starbucks 24hr. That some of the staff actually wee very helpful when I was checked in to a wrong room he was very quick to fix it up and very kind.
The rude woman at check in that made me feel I was an inconvenience to her when I didn't get the room I paid for and refused to give me a room I paid for then during my stay glaring horribly at me as I passed checkin. However eventually after a few hours a man working there fixed the room up for me. That the pools kept opening and shutting during a light rainfall.
Location, Clean room, helpful staff.
Distance from check in to room, too far.
It was much quieter than other hotels. The rooms were great.
Convenience to the strip for sightseeing, and the cost very affordable
The long que at check in at 3.15pm with only two people attending. The line was from the desk and reach to and past the front door. There did appear to be other staff standing further down the desk, could they have helped out??? The bath in room 803 was clean but chipped and as we were travelling with children who bath it was noticed.
Very noisy: impossible to sleep on weekend nights. Limited dining options. Few blackjack tables.
It is on the strip, albeit right at the South. Near to the airport so quicker transfers.
The hotel must have overbooked and so at first didn't get the room we paid for. On checkout, we were asked to pay more as we weren't originally charged the right room rate through booking.com (which I refused to pay) Not a nice experience.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. All rooms and facilities very clean and new condition what you don't find often in Vegas. Nice quiet hotel and you have everything you need but it is not too busy. Pool area was very nice.
Only thing that we noticed is that there are not many things to do for younger people like clubs. But Hakkasan is next door so not too far to go.
The rooms are clean and are a nice size. The pool is beautiful but the whole week we were there about 30% of it was shut down.
Compared to the other hotels on the strip, the Tropicana offered nothing. Restaurants are very expensive, and mediocre at best. It is located on the far end of the strip, not very central. The guy that whistles for the cabs out front was very ignorant with a smart mouth if he wasn't satisfied with his tip.
Love the bungalow rooms and the balcony views.
The parking structure.
Excellent hotel with clean rooms, comfortable bed, and very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is quite far from certain things on the strip, but is very easy to access everything as long as you are willing to walk. Great experience.
the view .casino was light not dark like so many others no loud music blasting that was great.
no coffee that was a biggie for us also no frig two queen the bed closes to the door was unsleepable needs a new mattress .
