Everything was fine had a really great stay at the Tropicana. Arrived by car was able to self park and found a space no problem , no queue at check in . Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing all was good.
Very close to other attractions which is great since there wasn't much in hotel besides gaming to keep us occupied.
Horrible distance between front desk and club tower that we were not aware of and not ideal for older folks. Rooms were humid and bothered others yet for us it helped keep down the severe dryness of Vegas making sleep better. This was our first time staying at Tropicana and probably won't return. Not a bad place at all but there's far more to choose from.
Hotel was good and clean. There is a Starbucks just downstairs and a 24 hour cafe as well, so we could get food anytime. More food options were also available next door at excalibur which is just a bridge away.
We were located in a wing right at the back of the hotel so that was like a 10 mins walk every time we had to leave the hotel.
I have nothing bad to say about my stay and nothing great to report.
The slots machines never pay out, but that is typical.
Almost only casino in Vegas with no WiFi except in the hotel room.
My key wouldn't work and had to call security all the time to let me in my room. Complained at the front desk received no apology or complimentary anything for the inconvenience
WiFi sucked! 1Mb free and then you have to pay. The atm in the lobby charges 8 bucks to take out your own money that you will be spending there at the hotel...GREEDY Greedy greedy!!! Breakfast is very expensive,$22.50 Per person!!!
I liked the fact that the staff were very friendly and took care of issues quickly and offered compensation for things that went wrong
When I checked into my room there was still luggage in it and the next evening my smoke alarm kept chirping and had to call maintenance to come change the battery at 1:00 A.M.
Everything was very nice. We were attending a 50th wedding anniversary party and all was wonderful. The food at the part spectacular.
club tower..the suites are good value Glo Spa ..small but clean and value for a small spa. Excellent spa services (massage etc). But very up priced for a Spa offering this basic spa experience. Resort-priced. Shouldn't be
casino area. small, kind of tacky really is no nice lounge/ bar to go to. only bars are sports bars or less restaurants are priced higher than they are worth...Italian has good food but no where near $ 37 per entry and ala carte otherwise.
Location Value for money Easy parking/valet
Excrllent location at the strip and had a breathtaking view of as well. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.
No minibar and refrigerator.
Well located for both fun and business. Very efficient bell desk services.
Facility services need a lot of improvement. (Bathtub stained, towels off white, toileteries smells awful, etc.) something about changing the TV channels - a bit frustrating.
Transportation to arena close to other casinos
The room was spacious.
The bath tub was dirty and had hairs.
Hotel is nice and fresh looking. Nice laid back atmosphere about the hotel. Lovely pool area Good location for access to southern part of strip and all the shows.
Not much to do inside other than casino. Buffet not as much choice as other hotels. Most resturants in hotel were ok but not great.
Location Kindness of staff room balcony made it so much better for us personally
More tables casino was last casino I wanted to be in other then just to walk donwnstairs. Food for me was good but my soon to be wife is a vehicle is a vegetarian and the options foe her were weak and very upsetting to be honest not just here but throughout Vegas period. Breakfast and salad are very weak options for a dinner or lunch for someone to eat each time over the course of a vacation
Did the job but nothing fancy.
Very stinky downstairs and in our room, old cigarette smoke kind of smell. Decor of bedroom was dated. We were in one of the highest floors and room was super noisy with wind, even with windows closed.
Liked the decor and lay out of the casino.
Had one small incident on Sunday night (11/16/14) had a false fire alarm that took forever for someone to figure out. Then the auto msg continued for another hour till around midnight. Not good for someone who was checking out early Monday.
Overall the best place to stay. Had a wonderful relaxed holiday. Looking forward to going back there. Sad to leave a beautiful Hotel.
Nothing. Everything exceeded our expectations.
- Friendly staff - Spacious room - Lobby/Gaming hall less crowded and more relaxing
- Being on the southern end of the strip, it's a bit of walking distance to places - Design and renovation is a bit too simple and old fashioned compared to other prominent hotels on the strip
Convenient location, friendly staff.
Very slow wifi; no fridge, coffeemaker, or microwave in room; extra fees for anything, including the unavoidable $20+tax/day 'resort fee.'
Excellent location. It's at the beginning of the strip.
During our stay we decided to go eat at Hooters so we parked our car on the tropicana parking lot near Hooters and when we were done we saw a parking lot violation ticket on our windshield. We had to look around for the parking lot security officer to explain what had happened. He ended up taking our ticket away but it was unnecessary for us to waste our time and go through all that.
We were treated exceptionally well by all staff.
The room was large, clean and well appointed for the price. It wasn't too much of a walk to get through the casino to the street. Close to the Airport. The pool area was extensive and looked nice although I didn't use it.
Pretty much at the end of the strip, quite a walk to get anywhere worth going, but no too bad. No redeeming features in the casino. The nights I was there, my room overlooked a massive country music concert on at Mandalay Bay, which was astonishingly loud even through the double-glazed windows.
