Spatious room. Clean.

Very expensive (20$/night) extra charges. Airco is very noisy, impossible to sleep while it is working. Swimming pool is spoiled with beats from bagatelle, the day club which is next to the swimming pool.

The bed was comfortable and the pool was in a green area that was low density and in scale that made it friendlier easy to get to from the bungalow, and was surrounded by real grass which gave it good vibes and spaciousness.Beach cafe coffee was good.Starbucks in-house. 57 Chevy out front as a stylish reminder of the hotel's history and opening in 1957. South Beach white/orange (could use some aqua) themed space. The overall low rise walkable feel. Hanging on to some character. The 75 year old gentleman valet who stowed our luggage for us. I like to see that because it's really about the people. That kind of things reflects on the sentiments of the management.

My second visit and did not get the room I asked for and paid too much for what I had to settle for. Two friends came with on my recommendation and were disappointed that A: no poker room B: you have to bet the passline in order to make an any craps one roll action bet. C: A blackjack doesn't pay off as it should. HORRIBLE MUSIC PLAYING THROUGHOUT THE PROPERTY. BUT MOST PLACES EXCEPT WYNN PLAY THE SAME HEAD BANGER STUFF.NO DEDICATED CHECKOUT LINE FROM THE CHECK IN LINE.

The third room we got was very nice-clean and new. The staff was extremely kind and helpful.

The fact that a room was not ready at 1:00 am even though it was supposed to be ready the day before. And it took two more rooms before one was acceptable. The second was construction dirty and not made up at all.

Clean and location nice.

We waited long time for extra towels until we did not have enough time to wait, we need to get ready. Until that time we left the room, still no towels were given. Disappointed. Also the carpet inside the closet was wet, it must have been leaking somewhere. I reported it and nobody came to check. The bath tub is clogged.

Room was huge and furniture new, nice, clean, great. Huge tv in the room (we had a deluxe king room). Hotel and room are very clean and modern. Location is great, right on the strip. Exceed expectations.

No fridge/mini bar in the room! They requested $15 per day for a fridge. Spa is extreamly expensive. The casino is a bit small compare to other hotels in the area but still nice.

We were on a non smoking floor and there was a stale smell still. Didn't like people smoking within the hotel

Casino table low limits

-Construction took place above are rooms each morning at 5am. So we could not relax or get good sleep since we were constantly woken up by loud noises above us. -Currently fighting an overcharge to credit card for the room rates by hotel. -Remodel did not meet expectations. Would still rate as an outdated hotel.

good value, good location on the strip and one of the first drop offs and last pick ups on shuttles due to proximity to airport. In fact taxi was comparable to shuttle bus fare for 2 people. beach cafe on site was lovely, good food at a reasonable price and lovely outside seating area. we had been allocated a king room on the first floor which only had cabled internet no wifi and we were offered a twin queen on another floor instead as no kings were available. The queen bed was plenty big enough for the 2 of us used to british bed sizes and the view from our room was amazing, looking straight out onto the strip and the New york resort.

bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, hence the mark down on cleanliness but the rest of the room was clean enough.

The Pool is their best asset.

We paid for a room with a balcony and pool view. They gave us a room with no view--literally a very ugly fence and a balcony that could not be accessed. We had paid extra for the balcony and pool view and the desk clerk said it was not a guarantee just a request. We had to insist on a manager to get what we paid for.

Amazing hotel, its a 5 stars actually, no need to read more reviews if you read my comments as its a very good hotel to stay in. Everything is perfect in this hotel

Clean, Friendly staff, accessibly to the rest of the strip, good restaurant, easy parking facilities, good sized room.

Loud music from pool area, no minibar, plumbing issues 2 of the 10 days we stayed! Long waiting times when calling room service, Unlucky blackjack tables ;-)

Love Tropicana! Can't beat the price and the hotel and pool are bright and beautiful. The location is right on the strip and all the entertainment you could want!

There was no fridge and that would have cost $15 per day to rent, no coffee machine so had to go to Starbucks every morning at $8 and one day we had no water for over 3 hours. We were therefore unable to shower before going out for the evening. Hated the whole experience.

Pool area was great - the highlight of the trip. The entire property was clean.

Room wasn't ready when we arrived at 3 pm - once we got into our room, the water was shut off to fix a boiler issue. This was understandable - things happen and it did get fixed. We had made a reservation for 3 rooms and requested them to be close together - had checked on it 3 times before the trip - and still ended up getting split up on floors 3, 11, and 16!

I loved the door service that was provided outside. Very energetic, compassionate.

The check in. She was just not friendly whatsoever. We arrived too early and when asked if early check in was allowed. A negative no was given. A simple friendly no would have been great. It was Friday 9 am. No one around to have caused this kind of attitude. I would have understood if it was crowded. Also no water for almost two hours due to boiler issues and no explanation was giving at time of check in. When I called from my room. No apologies were made.

The staff at your hotel were the best! The front desk staff were very good and Yolanda was extremely helpful to us when we had difficulties after we had lost our passports. They were all very professional. Also the breakfast buffet was really great for family breakfasts.

My 17 year old son was denied access to the hotel treadmills. This was very disappointing to us as he was in training for a running event. This was made especially difficult by the sign which stated that hotel patrons under the age of 18 could be accompanied by a parent in the hotel gym.
