The microwave and mini fridge were nice.
There were water bugs in the bathroom, and for the prices charged the rooms all looked very worn out.
Beds not comfortable. Was supposed to get a kind bed, got two doubles instead.
The customer service was more than great
It needs some updating
Attentive staff, full hot breakfast, very pleasant assist with making some copies I needed.
Room seemed a little damp with a moldy odor (though it was clean). There was an alarm in the next room that went off at six am for thirty minutes solid.
Hotel and furnishings very old. Our car wash towels are better than what they had. Breakfast was horrible.
The rooms and bed are nice & clean
No breakfast on weekends & smoking rooms need to be made for wheelchair
when we were getting ready to lay down for bed we found a shirt from i am assuming a previous customer in the corner of the floor. (it was a mans shirt we were not men)
The staff is very pleasant and helpfull. Facitlity overall is older, but still a good place to stay.
toilet needed new tank flapper valve, and found a big bug.
Comfortable beds and nice and quite. Location was very close to Linclon Stadium where all our events were, so didn't have to drive very far to get back to the room.
Linens in bath were very common and dingy looking. Hotel needs a few things to update it's appearance.
the restaurant lounge bar was dirty and the bartender was sitting down reading a biography of john wayne??? really. i would have fired that guy immediately...none of the staff was very friendly or smiled much
Location Accessible wifi
No A/C first day. Ice machine near room broken. Pool not open. Luggage cart not available on check out. Staff not knowledgeable about the facility.
Did like the location and scenery
There was no air conditioning or heat in the room. Lucky it wasn't super hot or cold!!
This Was a clean Hotel with very comfortable beds. For the Money it was a good hotel. The Staff was friendly and helpful.
The overall stay was wonderful.
It was fine for the money. Its just a little dated.
There is no elevator to the second floor so if your room is upstairs and you had a lot of luggage or anything heavy would be quite cumbersome. Also, the stairs to the 2nd floor on either side of the front desk were dirty. And i do understand they get dirty. We got there at 4pm the night we checked in and when we checked out the next day at 8am they were still dirty. its not that hard to clean them.
Staff was professional and polite. They had smoking rooms available, that was nice for us smokers who wish they weren't.
The beds and pillows could have been more comfortable. The pillows were to thin and the bed was lumpy.
I like how the Manager came and assist me with my room with no questions ask. Her name was Shannon. She was friendly and very polite! I would like to point out that the manager did a great job!! She even was polite to me when I checked out.
I did not like the first young lady, who told me my room would not be ready and she did not know when it would be ready!!! I informed her that it was after 4:00pm and she did not care! She stated again your room is not ready and I do not know when it will be ready!!! She had a very BAD attitude and was mean and disrespectful!! I asked her where would my room be and she said in the back! I asked her why can't I have a room up front, she stated I am not going to give you someone else room who made a reservation! I informed her I made a reservation too! She was not hear me at all! Until I asked for a manager! The manager assisted me with no problem at all. This was my first time staying at Truman Hotel. I hope your next guest never experience that!
Location to where I needed to be for my vacation.
Very slow internet, Shower certain let water spill out on bathroom floor, Shower certain also blew back on you in the shower sticking to you as you try to clean yourself, was given the wrong room at first that was not cleaned, Did not have HBO like stated.
Friendly staff. Clean room.
Unable to control room temperature. The window would not stay open so I had to prop the hotel information binder in the window so it would stay open. No elevator from 1st to 2nd floor. I had a bad back so the steps were manageable yet difficult. I was told they could not move me to a first floor room.
Location was good for us.
Room was right across the hall from a conference room. Noisy and lots of traffic. Room was stuffy and with their central heating system the air conditioning was not available. Staff's only help was to say to open the window. We were on the ground floor. Not an option. Furniture in room was badly scuffed. We expected a more upscale condition for the price. We didn't stay as long as we had planned because of all of the negative aspects.
There were empty beer cans in our room when we checked in
Front Desk, check in very satisfactory. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is easily accessible and in close proximity to the Capitol building and other offices its necessary for me to get to. Restaurant is ok, not great. Best part is the main lobby entrance-lovely and the friendly staff that is helpful and make you feel comfortable.
I am a smoker, and felt, with the accommodations for such as I and placement of the rooms, like a second class citizen. Away from the main building back behind near service entrance dumpsters and hidden out of the way from everyone else, like hid and we can forget about it. Those rooms are in serious need of new everything. Most of the light bulbs were burnt out, lighting was horrid, couldn't even read by the bed light. But I know I paid just what those in the main building did-- I've stayed in those rooms too, very nice and updated.
Staff was amazing
The breakfast could be much better. Even though our package included free breakfast, the buffet only was only 3 choices. The quality was not good. The food was hard.
Extremely out dated, rooms are bare bones and very uninviting.
The staff were really friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable.
The toilet seat was in the upright position when we entered the room and it was dirty. The bathroom sink was extremely slow in draining. The shower rod was peeling and looked old.
