Score from 13 reviews Very good
It is old but it is still beautiful and very comfortable. The restaurant gave excellent service and delicious food.
The only real restaurant choice in that area without having to getting your automobile is the German restaurant.
Nothing in particular.
Couldn't believe that there was no elevator in the facility. Also, couldn't believe that this was a three-star rated hotel.
showers were ice cold
Beer bottles in the hallway, no clean towels, no housekeeping, no extra blankets, non working shower
Lots of counterspace
Guaranteed a king given a queen. Sheet looked and smelled like they weren't changed. The heat was not working. The bathroom door would not close. Felt like room was not worth $120 per night more like a Knights Inn!
We were happy with having a ground floor room.
We arrived @ 2:15 hoping room might be ready. Was told to return @ 3. Returned at 3 and room was still not ready. One of the cleaning people left that day. Our room wasn't ready til well after 3.
Good mattress room dirty thin bath towels cheap amenities. We will not stay again.
It took almost 30 minutes to check out...
Great Nights sleep. Will be back!
Location, easy to book, very nice employees!
The convenience to the hey. Was good.
The rooms cleaning staff needs checking. The tub left with dirt in it. Trash bag left on desk. Beds not bet like I would expect. It was barely above a one star motel.
Very old, falling apart in spite of what appears to have been several update attempts in the past. Walls are very thin, whereas, you can hear conversation clearly from another room. The shower was terrible with outdated fixtures (1960) circa., and pointed to the extreme south. Indeed, the television was a 1980 era, motel T.V., the remote had a 6" distance. The roach who visited was also an unwelcome guest, the breakfast was in line with the rest of the place, a dive with a pretty Internet presence.
Housekeepers did not completely close room door. It was left slightly ajar after each room make-up.
Only hotel we could find while visiting MIZZOU (30 miles away).
Nothing special about this place. It seems old and run down.
Nothing, including the bugs in my bed!!
It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at!
Fake photos on booking site; rooms were seedy and grungy, I was afraid to sleep under the nasty comforter. Mildew and bugs in bathroom. NOT WHAT I PAID FOR OR EXPECTED!
No one was ever at the front desk
Was probably once a great hotel..Nice lobby and staff
Lumpy mattress and musty smell. This hotel needs some updating and maintenance.
The beds were very comfortable
Old, outdated, only marginally clean bathroom. Didn't even put a new toilet roll on when it was empty.
They were quick to change my room when I complained about a moldy odor. They were accommodating with a hard of hearing device that woke me up in the morning, even though they had never used it before. Refrigerator in every room, microwave, coffeemaker.
Front desk staff seemed clueless about a lot of things; passing on info that my room had changed and therefore I got no housekeeping the first night--no clean towels or beds made, vacuuming or dusting. Coffeemaker had no pot under it, and no one noticed or replaced it the whole 3 days I was there.
The pool was nice Staff were wonderful
Smell Cleanliness - horrible Outdated Air Conditioner needed updated Would not recommend
We arrived early so my husband could attend a conference. I assumed I would need to come back at 3 to check in. They checked us in at 8:30 AM. The conference ended at 1:30 on Saturday - they gave us until 1:00 to check out. We checked out at noon.
It is a maze of hallways getting from rooms to conference rooms. I have stayed there before so I was aware. The food is not good - knowing this, we chose to eat downtown (there are several good restaurants) - those who stayed at the hotel for lunch were disappointed.
All staff members were very welcoming and easy-going throughout our stay. The hotel must have been a big deal when it first opened and we appreciated that from the minute we walked into the lobby to our comfort level in our room
The only thing we didn't like was the smell of tobacco smoke that permeated the air. What we did like countered that though -- we felt welcome and could relax.
The microwave and mini fridge were nice.
There were water bugs in the bathroom, and for the prices charged the rooms all looked very worn out.
Beds not comfortable. Was supposed to get a kind bed, got two doubles instead.
