When I travel I stay usually at hotels that are just there for a bed especially for business. However the bed sheets and bed mattress in this hotel were horrible very rough and uncomfortable. Also construction waS loud. Would NOT stay here if on vacation
Small slow elevator and small common area space.
The staff was fantastic and accommodating to all of our needs.
Mattress was so uncomfortable. Saggy. The bathroom small. The noise from street horrible. Windows need soundproofing. Elevators unbearably slow.
The style of the room. The wood-look floors much nicer than carpet, the wall paper, and the room was relatively spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful if a little stressed out.
The shower door didnt shut so the water would spray allover the place.
The location was so close to the hotel.the room was clean and quiet.small but was perfect for two people.
The elevators, the very narrow hallways, the layout of the room, the dirtiness of the elevators and hallways
I liked that there were bunk beds for the kids
Very bad wifi. You need to keep logging back and after you login, it's super slowं.
Close to Times Square. Many attractions are within short walking distance.
loud elevator shafts you can hear in the smaller rooms and AC smelled
The lobby and location
Missed breakfast 20 am on Saturday is too early. Should extend the hours till noon on the weekends.
Celebrated my daughter's 21th birthday with tickets to Wicked and American Girl adventure- what a TRYP! Everything was perfect'!!
The hotel was in a prime location just off Times Square with Broadway Theatres nearby. Despite being in the middle of New York City, it was not too loud and we got a sound nights sleep every night! Staff were helpful and room was really nice. Looking forward to staying here again.
The staff was friendly and helpful
Location and friendly staff
On our arrival to the hotel we were informed that the suite that we booked had no pull out couch but a bunk bed. After informing the receptionist that we were misled by being told there would be a couch and a bunk bed would not do if reluctantly gave us separate rooms and told us there would be am extra charge. We would not agree to this. We asked to speak to the manager and were informed he was not available . After a long debate with the receptionist we finally got the rooms at no extra charge. We were trying to check in for almost 30 minuets. On our first night in the hotel , new signs were put on the hotel from best Western to tryp. There was a lot of noise as the drilling was beside our room outside. We were kept awake most of the night. Every time we tried to get back into our room our key cards had to be reprogrammed. There was a lot of construction going on and lots of dust and noise. On checking out we payed to leave our bags in the hotel until our taxi arrived to bring us to the airport and when it arrived we had to wait almost half hour to get our bags out. All in it was a very disappointing stay.
Hotel is well located. Bar man on the night we arrived was very pleasant.
Strange set up with the shower meant that the floor was always swimming when you got out, even with a towel down.
Very central to Times Square and everything else in central Manhattan. Staff all very friendly.
We arrived and our original room was being renovated so we were upgraded to a penthouse suite which had the best views. The staff were all pleasant and very accommodating. Even though there were renovations they were not noisy and didn't affect our enjoyment of our stay there.
Rooms were very small couldn't get in the bathroom without hitting the toilet seat
- Heater for the room was not working - No complimentary water - No complimentary tea - Internet was not accessible neither in the room nor the lobby - There was water leakage from the ventilator in the bathroom, directly dropping to the toilet
Experience was okay. Room size was difficult to manage. I requested double beds..I wanted 2 queen size bed as and ended up in 2 twin beds.
Just one problem - the hot water was cold first thing in the morning day 2 of my stay but the problem was quickly remedied. I like that kind of responsiveness
This hotel has a really good feel to it. A real attempt being made to create a welcoming atmosphere the moment you walk in.
We asked for a King bed and only 2 singles were provided.
Location and value for money.
The "double beds" which they were clearly not. I am 5ft and slim, my boyfriend is taller but slim as well and pretty much touched the sides. I was shocked when I saw the bed in the room. The comfort of them was also very disappointing. Two broken up restless nights of sleep. For some reason the management think it is a good idea for house keeping to knock at 8:45 every morning and every 45 minutes after. No door signs to hang to not disturb. The house keeping staff woke me up both morning shouting and having banter outside in the halls. Being a little considerate and quiet wouodnof been much appreciated after long days walking through NY. I sent the hotel a direct email and heard nothing back and still haven't to this day. It's very disappointing and ruined the end of a great trip. We stayed in a great hotel before called Citizen M and wished we paid the extra to go back.
The rooms were old, Old,, Everything about our room
We were in Times Square
No movies channels or pay per view movies? Really?
Amazing location and a reasonable price. Rooms were comfortable.
Staff need to be a little more attentive. Had to move rooms as aircon was broke which was ok bit could have been handed better. Currently being updated so a little dirty around common areas
Location and rooms were good size
