Score from 13 reviews Wonderful
virtually everything; great breakfast basket delivered to the door; spacious, immaculate and well-appointed suite; friendly and conscientious innkeeper
such a minor quibble, but wish there had been a roll of paper towers in the kitchen
The room, bed, and shower were all excellent, but the garden setting of this small inn really stole the show! A dry creek bed meanders through health cacti, under carefully sculpted trees, and around lovely shrubs, to the outdoor fireplace with comfortable chairs! It's a great place to watch the night desert sky emerge. Lovely place!
The location, outdoor area was lovely, the decor was delightful.
Possibly a choice for breakfast would be nice. Cereal or warm muffins.
Our room did not have one comfortable piece of furniture in it. We stayed one night out of the four we booked. Asked the owners if we could get a refund and were told no, that we would have had to cancel our reservation 14 days before we stayed. How did we know it would be so bad before we got there? Also, our continental breakfast consisted of two bananas, yogurt, pre-packaged rolls and orange juice. The experience spoiled our Thanksgiving vacation.
Very warm welcome. Great suggestions for activities and dining. Lovely grounds to stroll. Attractive area to meet with an outdoor fireplace.
Peaceful setting with friendly hosts. My wife and I were in Tubac on business and we relied on other reviews to base our decision to stay here. No disappointments!
Difficulty in connecting to their WiFi.
We liked everything about our stay at the Tubac Country Inn, very relaxing and comfortable, spacious room with two queen beds which were so comfy, very accommodating kitchen area and the bathroom was arranged for privacy and spaciousness.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like.
Nothing much - maybe the soaps.
Pillows were a solid rigid lump of what I do not know. Don't say here if you want to sit in a comfortable chair - they only have Equipale furniture! The water to make my tea was horrible. Shower was a weak effort. Way too expensive - it was only worth $50 and not $155.
Grounds and building were very quaint and in-keeping with the Southwest Tubac experience. Décor was delightful. Beds are extremely comfortable. Staff was very friendly while accommodating room change and dietary needs.
Not every room had an air fan in the bathroom. There were no directions on how to work the TV remote or floorboard heater. Have a check off list for breakfast basket as it was high in carbohydrates; Although the staff did accommodate dietary needs.
We were in Suite 2. It is lovely with 2 bedrooms and living room. The kitchen is very efficient, but we only at the Continental Breakfast left at our door. The grounds are very nice and peaceful. I would stay there again. We did lots of shopping and had dinner at Elvira's. If you want a nice dinner, eat there.
Twin mattresses were very hard. TV channels and reception was poor.
Quietness and room decor
Wonderful room. Wonderful hosts Wonderful area. Clean comfortable with character.
Walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Cute cozy room.
We loved everything about this place. Wonderful couple that own the Inn are most gracious and generous with their knowledge of all of Arizona. The coffee alone will ensure our return.
Atmosphere, tranquility & ease of staff.
High bed & room seemed crowded.
Location Hosts Breakfast Property
My sister and I stayed here over the weekend and it was absolutely wonderful! We had the upstairs 2 bedroom unit with a full kitchen. It was very spacious, beautifully furnished. And extremely comfortable! The hosts were lovely people. They went out of their way to provide for our comfort by contacting us in advance about any dietary requirements we had for breakfast and even helping us with our luggage up and down the stairs. On a scale of 1 to 10 we would rate this little Inn a definite 10 for ambiance, comfort, and cleanliness! HIGHLY recommend!
There was nothing we didn't like!
I have stayed at the Tubac Country in many times previously. This time my sister and I went for a sister weekend. She had never been there before. She loved it so much she is planning a long weekend there with her husband and two boys.
This is a great place to stay. They pay attention to details. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. We wish our stay would have been longer!!
We didn't like that our stay was too short!!
The breakfast was delivered outside the door in a beautiful covered basket. It contains all sorts of surprises.
Friendly owner. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean. Setting in front yard area nice.
Did not like price. Outside fireplace/pit area and seating needed manicuring. Mesquite debri flower all over. Web on front of fireplace/pit. Weeds growing on fireplace tools. Old, worn furniture outside.
I love everything about staying there.
The Inn is small, the ambiance is charming, lovely, wide veranda with comfy chairs overlooking a desert garden. Located away from shops close to the historic district. Owners, April and Ivan lovely, interesting couple. Loved breakfast served in a charming Mexican basket.
