View, Clean, the balcony
I woke up right in the center of all the action on the dock in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. What could be better? The free breakfast was excellent and a surprise bonus to a great day. It was Sunday morning and many of the fun stores in the area were open by 10:00 a.m.
Could not hook up to internet for some unknown reason.
Spacious, comfortable room. Easy walking to local shops and restaurants. Beautiful view!
bathroom floor should have been cleaned
The rooms are over the water giving the feeling of being on a ship.
Views from both sides of room on 2nd floor were beautiful. Despite lots of activities, room was quiet. Real handy to all local stores. Breakfast at nearby Fishermen's Wharf included more scenic views.
No microwave in room. Breakfast food was too cold!
Was shocked to see my sister on a friends huge boat moored outside our room!
Nothing, been to the Tug more than once
View after dark
Really tacky stairways and hallways; sad decor in room
Great view Watched fireworks over the bay from our balcony Walking distance to everything
Breakfast is very poor!
friendly,GREAT staff adn location
a bit "worn'
A perfect location to sit on the balcony and watch the harbor activities or a short walk to the towns restaurants and shops.
great location, very clean rooms
parking area needs to be larger
This is an older property, but it has been maintained and renovated it to keep it like new. Great location for prowling around the downtown area.
The deck chairs were very low, so if you sit in the chairs, the porch rail blocks the view. Otherwise, it is a lovely location.
Clean and comfortable right on the bay with views from all rooms. Not fancy but very nice, clean and great comfortable beds. Can,t beat the location to walk everywhere in the wharf. In the heart of shops, restaurants and the wharf!!
The staff was great, the location is great, we will definitely return.
Location, Resturant, and Staff are all great
Deck wasn't very clean, and the room needed some repairs
LOCATION - Didn't move the car.
No soap dish by the sink, no tissues in the room
My room, lack of help from staff
The included buffet breakfast was below average.
Location awesome. Room amenities great. Laundrymat on premises. In room coffee maker, fridge, good TV, good wireless, good pillows, plenty of hot water, good housekeeping service. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Walk to everything. Great Views. Very Clean. Very quiet for the location.
Breakfast was at another hotel location, which was close by but not on premises. Mattress in one room was brutally hard and awful. (Other 3 mattresses were fine). Décor in rooms is early 1990s - clean but outdated. Entertainment in the lounge was loud and off-putting and to be avoided. Food in restaurant was a bit bland. Computer system in front office / registration kept going down. Overall, still a great value in a great location. Would recommend.
This place was perfect for a summer stay. My wife & I (from Kansas) had a great time. What did we like? 1)The location, right on the bay, meant we could sit outside our room in beautiful surroundings, and watch the harbor goings-on. One morning we saw a lobster boat checking traps right there in the harbor; the "quaint" part of town was a short walk about 2 minutes. 2) Staff was great, very accommodating 3) Be sure to take the Cabbage Island tour; the clambake with TWO lobsters each was to die for (Okay, that's not hotel-related, but nonetheless, it made our trip.) 4) Onsite parking; not all places have it & visiting that part of town is a challenge without access to private parking
1) Pillows weren't as comfy as they could be.
We arrived on a to say the least a very rainy day on our motorcycle. The young ladies in the office were so kind and inviting even though we made the lobby a mess from our rain gear.We were checked into our rooms early with extra towels. The room cozy, clean.and a very nice view.We enjoyed a lunch in the dining room after a warm shower. The entertainment in the small lounge was just a delight in the evening.A local musician playing a piano .Thank -You we enjoyed our stay.
I like the location. It was quiet with a nice view of the harbor. The desk staff was very welcoming and the lounge staff was very accommodating.
The room was small and the mattress needs to be firmed up.
I like the fact that the staff was always friendly and helpful, particularly when I had trouble with their wifi. It was straightened out right away! The Tugboat restaurant was wonderful! The service was great, the food was great and the view was great!!!
I had a lot of trouble getting wifi on my own, so finally went to the front desk. They gave me contact information for their provider. Once I called the provider, the situation was straightened out. The buffet breakfast offered at a nearby restaurant was not all that great, but we managed.
The location was a plus. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
I think the tugboat rooms need to get a facelift, kinda outdated. I do say though it was clean.
