The hotel was in a great location to the Fisherman's Wharf! It was very clean and had a very nice room. The only bad thing was the parking. The front desk clerk said that there was free parking on the weekends and when we got out to our truck we had a parking ticket! Which was more than if we would have just parked in their parking garage. |

Proximity to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square Parking is expensive, but it is high in San Francisco everywhere. Certain amenities you would expect to be in the room were not, e.g., shampoo and shower cap. |

Staff was very helpful getting me there since I got lost in San Francisco. I called twice and they were amazingly patient. They were responsive to anything I needed and were very helpful - even when I complained about the parking fees. Overall, they were a great staff. Hidden parking fees. The coffee was pretty bad. At $100+ a night - - someone should know how to make good coffee. |

Staff was friendly and coffee was available in the morning. Parking is very expensive ($45 per 24h). The windows are single pane so I could hear everything outside (it did not prevent me from sleeping though) |

Location is excellent, very close to fishermans wharf. Free coffee in the morning is very well received and the complementary wine is a nice way to relax from a busy day. Rooms are a little smaller than expected. |

I think the best thing would be the location being that you are within walking distance to everything including the Trolley lines. It made for a wonderful stay! |

Close to Wharf and ease of getting to where we wanted. I was a bit disappointed in the price. I though it was a bit high. |

handy to sightseeing attractions.Nice room with a good view. unfriendly staff. did not get any soap or shampoo after 2nd day.porter was very pushy when we inquired about a taxi back to the airport. He wanted us to book a cab with him that day.We were leaving the next day and did not want to book right away. We had to walk away from him. He must be getting a big cut for booking cabs.. |

Nice clean hotel.... Close to Fishermans Wharf, walking distance. Alan at the conceirge desk was very helpful and polite. I was a bit annoyed that they had my old booking and not the renewed booking that I had made 2 months earlier so they put me in the wrong room, they did rectify the problem and moved me into my correct room But the excuse I got was that booking.com didnt let them know about my new booking that was done in june 2009.Bit Annoyed about that but other than that the room was excellent!!! |

It was easy to walk to many places of interest, including the waterfront, as well as to get to public transportation (buses, cable car, street car). The beds were comfortable and the rooms were stylish. The rooms smelled as if someone had been smoking in them when we arrived--it might have been the cleaning fluids used; it was an unpleasant smell. They also seemed a bit cramped with all the furniture in them. |

I staff was excellent and went above and beyond for me. I liked the free coffee and tea and also the free wine in the evening. They charged me a daily fee for using the safe in the room and I never even touched the safe. |

good location We were charged 42$/day for valet-parking at the hotel (is 25$ in the parking-house just opposite the hotel) Our car got a deep dent in one door while parked, and we realized later that it was parked by the hotel-staff in an outside public parking, because of full hotelparking. Very unsatisfying!!!!! |

The location of the hotel, very near the tourist activities at Fisherman's Wharf is great. Liked being very near the small shopping centre for all our other needs. Enjoyed delicious food and very good service at the restaurant. Partlicularly liked the smoke free atmosphere. |
