The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel room. The staff were very helpful, they stored my luggage for hours and arranged airport transportation for me.

We loved our stay at Tuscan Inn. The desk staff were extremely helpful, from watching over my rented mobility scooter until my arrival and making sure we got our discount coupon for the excellent on-site restaurant (Il Pescatore) right through to our departure. We appreciated the option of skipping the daily room cleaning in return for a voucher for the restaurant (optional) and enjoyed the afternoon wine reception. The location was great for access to Fisherman's Wharf and transit to all points in the city. We heartily recommend Tuscan Inn. Nick in the restaurant was a wonderful host!

The position of the hotel was great for exploring San Francisco, the interior felt comfortable and homely and the free use of the internet very use ful for checking in online for our flight home. The staff were extremely helpful especially as we had to change our plans during our stay. Although they were't able to provide a room for the nights we wanted, the receptionist rang several hotels locally and found us a room in another location. When we did book in the receptionist was very friendly and on checkout ensured that we had a taxi. Myself and my husband could not fault our stay and would definately book here again.

Location! I also enjoyed the glass of wine in the evening and getting to know the other guests. I hated having to pay $40 for parking on top of the room fee.

Location, price point, staff friendly Continental breakfast would have been nice. There was no view from the room at all. However being in the city, views are often the side of another building. Parking prices were a little steep. But then, it is in the city.

The hotel restaurant was excellent. Staff was very friendly and decor was nice. Good location that is far enough from Pier 39 but good proximity to transportation and many attractions (North Beach, China Town, Fisherman's Wharf, Embarcadero). I would stay here again. Our room was tiny.

This location is only 1 block away from busses and a street car making it very convenient to get around. Also it's just couple blocks away from the famous Pier 39 at the Fisherman's Warf. Great restaurants on every corner. Hotel has an italian restaurant on the premises. Food is excellent and very reasonable prices. Had dinner there 3 nights in a row. The only thing that was not convenient was that the light switch in the batroom was next to the sink. It should have been placed outside the door or near the inside door.

Great location with easy access to transport at a great price. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the coffee at breakfast and wine-time in the afternoon showed the hospitality of the hotel. Clean and well appointed rooms.

The room was very nice, very clean, and better than I expected for the price. We had a really enjoyable stay there. The room was quiet too, important for a light sleeper like me. Only downside was that it was far from The Castro and Mission where we would have liked to go out at night, but we ended up in The Marina instead because it's closer.

I have stayed at this property many times and have never been disappionted. The staff is great, very helpful. The restaurant, Cafe Pescatore is still very good. The lounge area is very warm and inviting and loved the fireplace and wine in the evening. Great location to the wharf and cable cars. I can't wait to come back. They have cut back on some extras since my last stay. Lotion in the bathroom for one and we always enjoyed morning coffee and biscotti, they no longer offer the biscotti. We always looked forward to that, just a nice perk. This is not a big issue because everything else including the staff are great.

I liked the decor, dog friendly, employees were friendly, very clean, near the wharf, shopping, & the wine. IThe room was small. Reserved a queen bed got two full size bed. The toilet water would make flash like noise thru the night. The window view was a wall. I guest you get what you pay for...

I loved the location and the warm welcoming I received when my girlfriend and I walked into the hotel room. They had complimentary wine at 6pm and complimentary donuts and coffee in the morning made up for the "no breakfast". The rooms were clean and very quiet. The price was great.
