The bed was comfortable and bedding was clean. The cable TV was midsize but had a wide selection of channels. The ice machine was always full. The room was only three blocks from the beach. Although we had read that the proprietor could be moody and snappy, we found her to be very friendly and talkative, and she seemed genuinely willing to help.
We booked a room with a kitchenette. One that had no frying pan, four colanders and no spatula. The full size refrigerator turned out to be a mini-fridge so we had to keep our drinks in our cooler-good thing we had the ice machine available. The window in the bathroom was broken and stuck open and we had to keep the door shut to keep the room cool. The advertised heated pool and spa was not heated and pretty cold for September. Overall space of the room for having a queen size bed was limited and hard for two people to move aorund without bumping into one another.
-Distance from bars, a friends hotel, and the boradwalk -Staff was amazing and nice -Rooms are small but were good for me and my boyfriend
The motel is closer to the wildwood beach
the parking facilities are limited. for the more than 25 rooms only 8 parking spots. They didn't provided any room service. We requested towels next day and lady just gave us then. Our bed sheets were not changed for second day. Dirty towels were not removed from room. Very small room and Bathrooms. Toilet flush was not working properly. Very few and poor toiletries, we didn't even used it. We reached very early but were given last room left which was in front of swimming pool full of people shouting all the time. AC was not working properly. Door lock was not working properly, you need to try 5 times to open the lock. Very Very bad experience we had so far.
Katherine let us check in ahead of time, the pool was nice, the bed was comfortable, the room clean.Short walk to the boardwalk and close to restaurants.
On line we thought we reserved a room with kitchen, even printed out the paper with "Queen room with kitchen", but our room had only a microwave and fridge. The bathroom shower did not drain, so we were up to our ankles in water, and the ceiling leaked the last day from the room above. Aside from having loud neighbors (which the motel had no control over) we were happy our stay.
It was good the receptionist was very very good impolite I wife and I will be back next summer go twilight
The owner was extremely nice and let us check in early. The place was great for boardwalk and beach and the pool and sun deck were really nice
Some of the kitchen bowls and utensils were a little dirty. We cleaned them and it wasn't a big deal
close to the boardwalk and food and awesome stores. pool was pretty nice. the room was comfy for two people. huge air conditioner. tv was awesome at night. sheets were clean, but we bought our own anyway.
Ants in the bathroom, good thing i had my off spray! staff could of been a little more helpful and not difficult to find. i think there was only one guy who stays there overnights..but he was amazing. owner kathleen seemed to be going through a legal matter, so we were a little lost for check out and check in times.
Place was very clean, and quiet. Kids loved the pool. Had a sun deck and a BBQ area.
Couch was a futon which was very lumpy.
The location was the one good part.
The toilet didn't work properly, and when I informed Kathleen about it, she suggested I borrow a plunger from the bar across the street bc she was away from the property. It was also suggested that I go buy some drano, for which I would be reimbursed. The next day when I saw her, she tried to make me feel like a dick for informing her that upkeep of her property was "not my responsibility." If the facilities are messed up before I arrive there is not much I can do about it. It was a strange suggestion to have a person renting space for the weekend go door-to-door to borrow a plunger, but she acted like it was a normal thing to request of someone. Additionally, the room had ants crawling up the wall between the two "rooms", and numerous times we found them crawling on us. The place in general lacks a lot to be desired from the filthy rooms, broken toilet, and ants crawling on you.
Great location. Near the Boardwalk. Nice pool and spa, deck, and grill. Staff was very friendly. Room was cozy. Lady behind the desk was great!

Nothing. Not, one, single thing.
The room is cell-like; small (6' x 10', for four people!) and very poorly lit. The bathroom ceiling LEAKS WATER water whenever the upstairs neighbors run the shower (have video to prove it). The "fold out couch" that was to be the second bed for our kids was broken; both beds were heinously uncomfortable. "Wi fi" doesn't work most of the time. The place is infested with ants. When my wife complained about the ants, rather than be apologetic, the owner and staff shockingly became verbally abusive, and THREW US OUT for complaining about THEIR ants. They blamed the ants on the fact that we "ate in the room"... yes, how dare we eat in the room they put a MICROWAVE and FRIDGE in to store and reheat the food we shouldn't be eating. Owner bizarrely claimed we were "threatening her livelihood" when we said we'd post reviews about our experience at this hotel. This is such a a fundamentally broken attitude, it's mind-boggling. What's 'threatening your livelihood' isn't the customer complaining about the bad service... it's the BAD SERVICE. Just as a topper, while the owner did eventually agree, in writing, to refund our money, eight days later, no credit has appeared on our card. We have read from some of the many other dissatisfied customers of this establishment that in their experience, the owner will "promise" refunds, then just keep the money. We hope this is not the case, but I guess we'll see. Stay away. Stay far away. DO NOT. EVEN. THINK ABOUT. THE TWILIGHT. MOTEL.
Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Place gave you a nice beach environment.
Place is in need of some tlc some minor repairs and upkeep. Wifi was weak and tv was not working (not a problem for me because tv to me is a waste especially on vacation so I had no real problem with that)

Needs sprayed for bugs and needs updated . The money you pay there is not worth it. Water pressure is horrible

We booked Queen Suite with Two Queen Beds which was confirmed by email. We end up with single bed 2 separate very small rooms.
It was dirty. Mold on shower curtain, ants everywhere, carpet wasn't vacuumed before arrival and there was dirt and sand between the sheets. I wouldn't be surprised if I brought home bed bugs. Horrible experience!
The manager was helpful. The heated pool and hot tub. The TV had a lot of channels.

The staff was friendly and available throughout the day. It was located close to the beach and boardwalk but not within ear shot of hearing all the noises from the boardwalk.
Apparently we visited during ant season as our room was being invaded by ants. The staff did what they could to help. Other people in other motels were saying they had the same issues though.
Well...I have a lot of children and I must say my kids loved it! I couldn't get them out of the pool for anything. The rooms were a little odd but this really didn't matter to us too much. All in all I would stay again!!
