The staff was very helpful. The water pressure in the shower was the best I have seen in a long time. The location was great for all we did, not far from the cable car or the tour buses. A lot of places to eat that were very good within working distance.
The bed was a little uncomfortable, the pillows needed to be a little fluffier.
Staff were non-existent, only saw one. Neighborhood got more rowdy at night, but safe. Two Theaters just across the street.
many panhandlers at night.
Location is very good, all the attractions are nearby and plenty of restaurant options.
Before booking i didnt realise that the hotel didnt have a parking and had to park at a paid parking lot at cost 25$ a day !. Also the rooms are lot smaller than expected.
Location was really good The front desk guy with long hair was good in changing our rooms since we had toilet blockage - he upgraded us to a bigger and better room.
Giants won the World Series so there was noise the entire night but not the Hotel's fault entirely.
Location. The bathroom is large.
An old hotel with poor infra. No breakfest, poor internet access and bad bedroom ilumination.
Great value, incredible location, clean room, solid amenities. A good place to stay if you're planning to see San Francisco and not spend much time in your hotel.
Staff apathy. I came back one day to find that room service had left my hotel room door swinging open, and when I came back to complain the receptionist clearly barely cared at all, said they were gone for the day so he couldn't talk to them. It wasn't the end of the world, nothing was stolen, but it would have been nice if he could have at least pretended to care or offered to do anything about it. Because of this I don't think I'll be back, which is really a shame.
The front desk staff tried to be nice and I appreciate
a. Toilet choked and you can do your business. Damn b. Lots of drunk and homeless making lots of noise at night. c. Heating system dun work
Location was convenient to the BART and financial district.
Noisy at night. Room had a stale smell.
Would have been better at a hotel six
wifi was pretty unreliable. Though they told me that in bay area wifi is a problem! Locals also have problem with their isp's. My room was on the backside with no view and the garbage throwing sound was noisy
The hotel is top located right in front of a theater and close to Union Square. Beds are comfortable, albeit the whole area is a bit noisy due to restaurants and bars, but their presence is also great for the area.
The Wi-Fi barely works. It is super slow, albeit the signal strength is excellent. I guess simply too many parties on a slow shared DSL connection. Would be great if they could improve this.
It is in the center of the city. You can reach a lot of places by walking.
Wi-fi was very poor. Need to wait for long times in order get open even the simlest pages.
Location and front desk staff.
Thin windows. Local bucket drummer was practicing till 0400. Occational bug traffic in the kitchen and bathroom.
I like it was close to everything.
The hotel needs to be a bit cleaner, and a better wifi.
No cooling or fridge
The location is the only good thing about this hotel.
It is an old property that has not been refurbished in years (decades?). The room was tiny. There was a wet towel on the floor when I got to the room. Found out later that a NICE hotel just down the street was only $10 a night more. Never again.
The night doorman was very polite and helpful.
Ease of access to BART & Airport and downtown SF
Lots of homeless people, situated across from a garbage collection site, which was noisy at night.
This place is all about location
Poor wifi performance
The location is great for nightlife in SF. Couldn't complain about the price. There are restaurants right outside of hotel. Ruby Sky is around the corner. Definitely an easy place to rest your head after night out. Room was clean. I would stay here again if I am going to party in SF.
It's BYOS (Bring your own shampoo) or maybe they didn't give any to me. Wi-Fi was really bad unfortunately. Good think I was able to tether my mobile phone to my laptop.
I wish the wifi is stronger.
Good location, just the essentials were there.
The floors made my feet sticky and the towels had stains on them.
Price was good.
Service on the front desk was poor didnt feel welcome at all. Room very very dated. May as well not have wifi hardly worked once over our three night stay
