Price is reasonable, given the good location.
The room was facing a parking garage and I suffered from terrible outside noise all night long, which prevented us from sleeping.
Good location. Close to Powell St BART station, shopping, and restaurants. Let us check-in much earlier than regular check-in time!
Windows are old and not sound-proof. Be prepared to hear cars, horns, people, etc., all night long!
Location was ideal for me, theater across the street, surrounded by restaurants, shops, Union Sq. Bus lines convenient (bus to Caltrain station was right around the corner). Nothing showy but everything clean and working, nice staff. My room was very quiet.
My room faced a small courtyard, no sunlight came in, but it was quiet. The place is nothing new, nothing fancy, but that was OK with me. No table in room.
Location is very good and stuff is friendly. The hotel looks a bit old but facilities are fair.
WiFi on 7th floor is very poor. The only elevator is very slow, especially in the morning when everyone rushes for breakfast. There was no AC in our room!
Friendly desk help
P.m. Noise from dumpsters in the alley
very small room, window facing the wall and other windows, so no sun and limited privacy
It has the best location, for the price.
Location was important for me and this was perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Room could of been a little cleaner.
Staff we're helpful and friendly albeit lacking in basic manners. Location is amazing. Hotel is safe and clean.
Very old. No aircon. Noisy. Expensive.
Location. Simple but clean rooms. The wifi works on and off but it is free. Not all staff members are helpful but it is a good cheap option in central SFO.
It is very noisy in the nights. The single glazing on the windows makes that you hear everything that happens on the street. Internet could be better
Amazing staff, super friendly and personable. The room was clean and pretty comfortable. For what we paid it was a great value.
The location was great in terms of convenience, close to downtown shopping and loads of awesome local spots to eat ... However, it's the Tenderloin area and, no fault of the hotel, were kept up ALL night by some intoxicated characters parked out on the street from 2am onwards
The hotel was in a great location and had a good selection of TV channels. The staff where friendly and helpful.
The hotel was very dated and had a bad smell to it. The wifi, was dreadful average 0.10mb, if even. The street it was on was extremely noisy and often had EMS vehicles going up and down. There was no air condition or fans provided for comfort in the room.
Location, wifi, plenty of hot water, enough easy to locate plugs for electronic devices , price
Decor (old), peeling plaster in bathroom, bugs in bathroom light fixture, staff not very friendly
The localization is awesome, for real! But despite that I wouldn't recommend this hotel
The room is old and dirty, also the shower is horrible (Almost no water.. ). The tv was not working in my room and the wifi also does not work..
Location is perfect, in the heart of the city, good price considering location
Hotel is old and hasn't been updated in a long time, WIFI was poor, room very small.
Close to downtown shopping, lots of good restaurants nearby and close to cable car and Muni connections. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Street was very noisy at night. No vending machines in hotel so no ice or soda.
The location is great, just a couple of blocks from Union Square and the Market street. The staff is very nice and the rooms are small but clean and with all basic facilities.
As the hotel is in the very city center close to the bars and night life, the noise from the street will keep up light sleepers till early hours in the morning. WiFi is very slow, ok for browsing, but too slow for Skype calls.
It was a great location but hotel facilities not good.
We didn't enjoy being woken every morning at 1.30 am to the sound of rubbish tins being emptied outside out window. This continued on for a long time - either people emptying bottles out of bins or large bins being emptied by trucks. We were lucky to get any sleep after this time. Room very dark and needs updating.
Location was brilliant, great diner (pinecrest) opposite, handy for shops, transport and car pickup
Room was facing street and could be noisy during the night. Therefore Couldn't open windows and no air con so hot
You pay a lot Smelly room Outdated furniture You have to pay extra 25$ for parking
Very helpful staff, clean hotel and excellent location
wifi is slow, but wasn't important to me
3 mins walking distance to Union Square. good enough hotel receptionist to help with directions and booking of transportation back to the airport
The hotel & room had a strong 'cleaning detergent smell' which was worisome if the fumes were hazardous to health :(
Location nice and close to stuff
Place was dingy and smelt room was dirty and extremely well used. All we heard all nice was breaking bottle from the staff at the restaurant below tossing bottles. Slept on the covers checked out after 1 night and went down the street to better place
busy area at night
