Wifi was excellent
little bit pricey
The bed was great and the staff was excellent.
silent, spacious room comfortable bed breakfast free coffee and fruit throughout the day reliable wifi
daily wifi authentication
I got married on Novemeber 15 and my wife and I stayed the night here after a night on 6th street! Great service, very helpful staff! I would recommend this hotel.
Friendly staff, very clean room
During the night if someone above us woulpd flush the toilet or drain the tub it sounded like a waterfall coming from behind the wall. Apparently the plumbing drains were not insulated. Keep us up most of the night. We felt like we shouldn't use the bathroom in case people were trying to sleep below us. We advised the staff in the morning and they advised this is the first complaint that they have had like this. I am sorry to write this in a review, but it was a most annoying night of trying to sleep.
Great staff, good central location, wi-fi, lovely comfortable bed
Lack of bar facility, breakfast was average
The check-in ladies were so nice and helpful. Very friendly. The breakfast staff was nice and very accommodating. The bed was so comfortable and the room was large and roomy. It was like being at home. Great!!!
The staff and facility delightful.
Booking with Booking.com, hotel would not supply a receipt showing that the bill was paid. Now having difficulties recouping those funds:(
Good location in between campus and state Capitol.
Excellent Breakfasts. Julia and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
Good size comfortable rooms with comfortable bed and good wi fi
No windows in my room and I thought was a little expensive
Staff were very friendly and helped solve problem at check in. Lindsey and Belinda were great, breakfast was very good. It will become my first choice on business in Austin
The location of the hotel is good, especially for a solo traveller and, depending on the temperature on the day, it is easy enough to walk to downtown. Alternatively, there are several local buses. The staff are friendly, helpful and do their best to assist with all sorts of enquiries. The room (mine was a King Suite) couldn't be faulted. I love the sheets on the bed, which were so soft! Breakfast was very good.
The hot savoury food needs to be labelled, so that those of us who are vegetarian, know at a glance, if we can eat them (omelettes and potato dishes). That is a suggestion though, rather than a negative.
location, price and easy in and out, clean rooms
Went to a football game at the UT stadium. You can walk there if you want. Also very close to the capital and the downtown area. Rooms were very comfy, ceiling fan, refrig, beds were awesome, and room is quiet. Because of the varied hallways you don't have allot of hallway noise. Breakfast was excellent.
Amenities were great, including fitness center, bathrooms and comfort of bed.
No drink in water in room or fortea and coffee
Very clean, very friendly staff, spacious bathroom and room, I found the decor pleasing. Short drive from main areas or 20 min walk from 5th/6th st.
Breakfast was just ok but I prefer to eat specialty items, croissants, good jam etc not typically found in a hotel breakfast bar.
From the moment we entered the lobby until we checked out Lindsey made sure our stay was amazing. Really can't say enough about Lindsey, she's wonderful!!! Lindsey was very attentive along with the entire staff. Our room and view of Austin was beautiful! We look forward to returning & staying longer. Thank you Austin Hampton & Lindsey!!
Our stay wasn't long enough.
Location, walking distance to campus, museums and capital. Clean and spacious rooms with high ceilings with fans.
Lack of good restaurants in walking distance. Charging $19 per day parking. We were there on a Sunday and should have parked on street.
High ceilings Good breakfast Beautiful room Great staff
Other than that the hotel is great. The pool on the 5th floor is a great little get away. Only 2 minutes from 6th street & you can walk to the museum. I would definitely stay again.
Parking is extra. On the street or in the garage.
Free upgrade to King suite. Comfort of bedding. Location excellent for proximity of univ of Tx. Breakfast buffet was nice.
I loved the location and the large comfortable room.
The breakfast was just not good at all and the pool had too much chlorine. We tried to swim but had to get out because the chlorine was so irritating.
"Location" depends on what you are in Austin for; it would be excellent for a lot of people.
