Room heater too noisy.
The staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. Also, the breakfast was great! It was very convenient to be so close to the train (Trax). Overall, I had a great experience! Thanks!
The building was a little hard to find, because all the buildings around look the same. It might be helpful to put clear signs on the road leading up to the hotel to help point people in the right direction.
Location and ease of access
Proximity to museum , art gallery and light rail made it very convenient. Comfortable room and friendly helpful staff. Shuttle available to take you to on campus locations
Pillows could have been soft and comfortable
Very convenient, clean room, and very courteous staff. Great shuttle service throughout the campus
I enjoyed my entire stay
friendly staff, comfortable room with extras like Keurig in the room. Great breakfast in the morning.
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Good complimentary breakfast and Starbucks coffee. I had spent a week here a year ago when a family member was a patient at the University Hospital. This time the family member had an appt at the U and I had a conference to attend, so it was the perfect choice. It's nice that there is a microwave and refrigerator.
Wi-fi seemed to come and go but it is nice to have complimentary wi-fi.
We, along with several others chose this hotel for the ratings and the proximity to the hospital. Rooms were a good size, quiet and clean. It was nice to have water/tea/coffee available all day. Great breakfast choices.
Convenience. Campus shuttle bus.
The hotel was clean and hospitality was lovely staff was polite and kind.
Location was great to the University Hospital.
The bed could have been better quality.
Everything except as noted
Being a #1 selection with Trip Advsior, just felt the interior finishes lacked what should represent a #1 rating...ie dingy corridor carpets...we stayed at a Hilton in Las Vegas for $85. night that was, by comparison, a step or two above as far as the interior appeal.
The smell of the rooms.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast was pretty ordinary. All disposable plates and cutlery and food to match.
The breakfast was great and I enjoyed the gym!
Gal at desk gave us a great restaurant suggestion. Also loved strolling the grounds nearby.
Field lights outside window disrupted night view of the city. Went to sleep with drapes closed.
The staff is what makes this hotel great. They gave free shuttle rides to and from the hospital multiple times per day. We had a relative in the hospital (which is just up the hill from the hotel), and the proximity and shuttle service were the most important things to us. The staff went out of their way to help us extend our stay when the hospital needed to keep our relative an extra day. Great coffee (Starbucks), free breakfast, and great prices.
Slow internet (stated at only 1 MB, we experienced .6 MB) which requires multiple logins per day. It's unsecured, so we we unsure why we had to go through the login and authentication process so often. It is free, however.
The staff was friendly and very helpful
Location, setting, quality of the facility.
Inside the university quiet and with breakfast and have a good view of whole Salt Lake City
Far away from downtown
Fabulous view Very clean room Comfortable accommodations Great value for the money Close to everything Fabulous fitness room
Windows too dirty to take pictures of the view Fitness room needs to be cleaned more often Front desk staff was young and hasn't learned to be gracious yet
Location, cleanliness and consistency (food service, room amenities, etc.).
It was a tough week for the Guest House because they were booked to the max and appeared to have too much going on, It definitely affected their staff hospitality, accomodation availability (couldn't stay 2 additional days there) and overall servicing that we have experienced in the past!
Stayed 2 nights with 3 kids in summer. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Facilities excellent, clean. Good breakfast. There is a vibrant atmosphere, with many people from all walks of life, students, professionals, traveler. We felt very good here. The location was a bit removed from city center, but I we liked the hillside view of SLC below. You have to drive to town or take the tram. I highly recommend this place.
Nothing to report.
My wife and I like to use public transportation if possible when we stay in cities. This was perfect. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was a plus.
We turned off the air conditioner the first night to reduce noise for sleeping. The room got very hot. The second night we left it on and slept fine.
