One of the stuff is nice.
No wiff no quilt, not a comfatable bed
We like the breakfast there, it's so nice.
Too much noise, the bed is too soft. And staff are not hospitality.
Good customer service. WiFi worked just fine. Spacious room with balcony overlooking pool.
Hallways on the dingy side, dreary. Old armchair in room showed its age.
convenient location, great city transit, very affordable access to airport.and they had a great breakfast
the wifi was not great. the room was hard to keep at a constant temperature
The staff that greeted us were as different as night and day. One was very helpful and cheery and the other was obviously having a BAD day. HE was sullen, unhelpful and in general miserable to be around. No where did it state in the information that there would be a $15 charge for parking. The maintenance had painted and not left any signs and yes it got on my clothes. Complaining to Mr. Grumpy got us nowhere. We had to wait until the next day around 11:00am for the manager to get there and authorize a compensation.
Night shift staff was awesome. Restaurant had good comfort food. Beds were comfortable. Heat worked perfectly. Good value.
Keys issues were horrible. 30 minute wait for new key caused me to miss deadline for setting up booth at trade show. Severely impacted me. Even locked out of bldg! Pierre-hotel "taxi" overcharged for rides to OCC. ($20 vs $10-$12)
Wifi spotty / almost useless. Evidently a prob for months according to staff Lots of youth, noisey neighbors
location and access are good. staff were lovely
no wifi and rooms are a bit shabby.
- the big room, - relatively central location, close to the university - breakfast is free
Overall the location is simply run-down. The A/C unit was unbelievably loud. The first night it took me a while to figure out what the engine noise was (it was the A/C of the neighbouring room). The cabled internet in the room did not work. Informed the staff in the evening of my arrival, and they said they will have a team check it the following day. The following evening it still did not work and they could not tell me if it had been checked or not (I suspect not). They said they filed it again, and the following day it still did not work, with again no sign that anyone had ever looked at the problem. The breakfast is served exclusively on paper plates and in paper cups - gives you the feeling of a truck stop joint. Throughly depressing. Dinner on site is only available at the Lincoln Grill. Friendly staff, but very limited choice. Overall, cannot recommend it and myself will definitely not stay there again.
The location was very good,it,s near from downtowen
It does not have WiFi inside rooms
Staff was friendly,room was big.
The cost for the room was way too expensive for the value. Yes room was big but that was about it ... everything else was just like a regular motel.
Good breakfast, decent but not great facilities.
Has a slightly 'converted dorm room' feel about it. Needs an update refresh
Not much.I shall never return. And I will let others know not to book a room.
The young man who checked me out at 8:30 AM on March 17 never, never thanked me. It was like he was doing me a favor. If you don't like your job get out. Quite the attitude! In this day and age why is there no free Wi-Fi
Complimentary breakfast was well served, there were eggs and sausages. Also, I liked they give you a cookie at check in. Location was good, walking distance to attractions.
No wifi in the room, only in the lobby. Parking is too expensive, $15 a night, so consider that.
The one positive thing I can say about this facility was the chocolate chip cookie each night. They were delicious and a very nice surprise.
The facility is rundown, to get to it is convoluted. Our original room was dark, dank and far away in a different wing, and very old and used. When we complained, they said we could "upgrade" for $10 more, but they " checked with the management" and gave us the new, refurbished room at no additional charge. Quite an insult for such a nominal fee.
Hotel staff was pleasant
very close to meet needs
it was clean, organized, and private.
no microwave or mini fridge.
Free cookies when you check in. They are delicious!
Wall paper was peeling away from the wall in the bathroom. Sliding glass door leads right out into a dirt area. Not very pretty and this was supposedly an upgrade to what we had originally booked.
Very comfotable beds and the size of the room was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was also very quiet, which is always nice to find.
No bad experience, but no wifi was a minor disappointment.
Closeness to the city centre. Parking (paid $18 per day) Great value for money with spacious rooms and filling breakfasts. Not fancy, more functional as these are rooms for visiting conference attendees. Wifi signal is good and useful for doing work. 4G mobile coverage is equally good.
Nothing really, except having to pay for the parking but that is true for most hotel in Portland.
It was close to downtown at a GREAT price. I was even able to upgrade to a king bed which felt luxurious.
The internet in the rooms is wired only, which is irritating, but fine. The setup of the place is kind of weird, and trying to navigate it alone at night was really creepy. (It's partially outdoors, which I thought was odd, but is perhaps more common in warmer places than where I'm from)
I liked the fact it was simple and easy to get to downtown without the downtown prices. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
