Reasonably price, small room, but nice and comfortable with refrig, microwave, coffee pot.
Just needs some TLC. Odd that the hairdryer was in the toilet and shower area vs. in the separate sink area.
I always have a hard time swallowing the fee for parking.
I enjoyed my stay and the hospitality was great. Friendly staff and the room made me feel comfortable. It was also nice to see a full continental breakfast bar being serviced.
I didn't like how the room was miss represented online through the photographs taken, also felt the no smoking off the balcony was a bit excessive to a no smoking room/property. Enjoyed the continental breakfast for the most part, but the bacon was it tasted like the microwavable bacon.
No dvd player
Door key system did not work smoothly.
Clean rooms and breakfast was nice
Bed needs some work to hard
Plugged toilet, remote control didn't work, coffee pot sprayed coffee all over the sink counter when poured. Did not have the bus available at the time asked for. Almost missed my flight! Worst place I've ever stayed.
Very good hotel for the price; clean, comfortable.
PSU students living at the hotel could be a bit noisy.
It was nice for a night, and close to downtown.
Paying for parking.
the proximity to downtown area
body fluid stain on bedspread, witnessed house keeper place toilet brush on sink next to drinking glasses
They should have their price list for calling out to be put in rooms. They have killing price for phone call (around 38$ per minute to call to a cell number out of states). This make me felt extremely to be cheated.
Very friendly and responsive staff, good facilities, location a short walk from the streetcar to downtown.
Since the doors of the rooms face outside and are not very well insulated, the room occasionally got pretty cold. But this is not a big problem because the heater works well.
Continental Breakfast was really good
I liked that they offered free breakfast.
didn't like that we had to pay for parking. our room was too close to the washer and dryer and I could hear it all night. And if it wasn't that, I'm not sure what I was hearing
As the staff are State employees, you are not allowed to tip them. The included breakfast was extensive, with hot and cold options available. When they say breakfast ends at 0930, they mean it. The hotel was a few blocks from the MAX and Portland Streetcar lines.
There was no WiFi in the room, it was only in certain corridors and the lobby. As for the room facing an outer corridor of the building and the corridor not being sealed at the bottom of the walls, the room became quite cold at night. The room was equipped with heating and cooling, however.
Staff pleasant and room clean. Complimentary cookies at check in:)
No refrigerator in room:(
Convenient location, close to MAX line, ease of parking.
out dated interior
The lamps had mold around them, the toilet hardly worked, everything was from the 90's, no wireless Internet.
The breakfast was amazing! Everything you could want from eggs, toast, sausage, hashbrown, fruit, oatmeal and cereal. The location was great for us as it was close to transit so we could quickly move around the city. I would recommend upgrading to a deluxe room if possible because having wifi in the room was very convenient.
The rooms were a bit outdated and dark. The wifi did not work in some areas of the room.
the bathroom was large. The shower fixtures were superb. The bed and room were spacious
the tub was plugged up and drained poorly . The heater was either too hot or too cold.
Great location and customer services
Bed sheets, towels, etc are probably clean but it's not too appealing when there are stain on them. House keeping might want to keep a close watch with the materials/items they are using.
The breakfast was hot and delicious. The beds were comfortable and the shower was just right. It was easy to find and the location was convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the price was a great value. The room included a microwave, refrigerator and hair dryer.
The hotel is outdated in decor and carpet. There was some freeway noise.
Location; room was comfortable
When we booked the room the description said it was a king room with a balcony and a flat screen t.v. When we got in to the room, there was no balcony or flat screen t.v. When I called down to the desk they told me if I wanted that room I'd have to upgrade to a King Deluxe room. After telling them what the website said when I booked the room, they told me they'd go ahead and upgrade me for free. It wasn't too much of a hassle and I was glad we got the room we paid for. Everything esle there was great. We'd definitely stay there again.
