Excellent location, morning buffet breakfast was very good and appreciated, However for the price this is very good value for accommodation in downtown Portland.
Facility was old and a bit run down.
Easy to find on map.Ease of parking;not expensive parking. All rooms comfortable, clean ,light. Good breakfast.
No wifi in rooms Carpet so stained it looked like the room had been used as an abotoir Staff completely disinterested in all respects. Avoid!.
Good value for money.
No restaurant for dinner
GREAT! the room here was actually not smelly like smoke.... seriously amazing.
the breakfast was horroble
Proximity to PSU and MaxLine. Nearby access to I-5
AC tends to sound loud.
Very good breakfast; excellent location
Staff seem uninterested and bored.
Hair dryer did not work
Breakfast was included and what I expected for a free breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Priced much lower than other hotels in the area Microwave and small refrigerator in the room. Flat panel TV and Keurig coffee maker. Onsite rental car company.
Parking fee. Had to pay for an upgrade to get a room that was updated and access to wifi in the room. Worn chair in the room.
Location, room size, facility, breakfast
Could be better mattress. Worn out. The carpet is old and dirty. Shower curtain is dirty.
It was close enough to downtown so we were able to walk around quite abit. There was a lot of things close.
The hotel was nice and clean with all the facilities and close to transport and a walk into downtown.
Good housekeeping. Great location as it is close to public transport. Decent facilities (gym, pool, etc). Complimentary breakfast is also nice. For where/what it was, the price was right.
Being close to the university can attract some louder students. Wifi is only in lobby, not your personal room.
Clean comfortable room. Above average continental breakfast.

Good value and good location
carpets were very dirty and need to be replaced
Fabulously located regarding proximity to the University. Very gracious and helpful staff.
Out room was not terribly clean. Could be a one off.
Several young children (Chinese - exchange program) ages approx. 8 -11) were in next room — were very loud between 1 and 3 am -- keeping me up. I spoke to their guardian and never had problems after that. Portland, Oregon
No smoking No PETS
Room or far from elevator
This was my second visit to the hotel, and I will continue booking here for my stays in Portland. While the front desk people often congregated in the back room, they were helpful once I got their attention. I appreciated Kelly phoning me in Miami asking me if I wished to extend my stay (I had actually left on Sunday and my friend was to take care of the bill from 10-5 to 10-7), and Jessie and Sarah who helped correct this matter.
Some of the replacement towels were stained with black smears.
The pool area was a beautiful quiet oasis. 15 minute walk to convention was lovely way to start the day.
Several lights didn't work, tub was a bit worn.
Location was good, and the internet was super fast, once you managed to register and connect.
I will copy a part of someone else's review because it reflects my thoughts perfectly: Now it seems like its run by a bunch of disinterested college students. Front desk staff on their phones or computers unable to answer simple questions. Messy rooms. Dirty halls. No thanks. The first room we got had a door that didn't work, so our stuff was locked inside. We got a free upgrade though. That was nice. Everything after that was terrible. Our new room had gross urin stains on the toilet seat and when we reported it they tried to get rid of us or at least make us wait until next morning (!?!). After I almost yelled at them, they sent someone. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and the internet connection is valid for 24 hours only after which you have to re-register, which is a lengthy and complicated process. And only deluxe rooms have free wifi in rooms, other rooms don't (you have to go to the lobby)! The staff is completely disinterested and quite rude. Value for money - terrible. Overall experience - never again.
location, balcony, breakfast, breakfast for marathon runners
beds were not comfortable, room was not quiet
