Washer and dryer
We arrived on Saturday 23, we got the keys from a different location, really annoying especially if you come from the airport with a taxi and you have to get an other one to go the house. You can walk but not with your luggages, it's too far. We wanted to take a shower but no hot water, we called right away the office and were advised that the manager of the building was coming to fix the issue that day. A week later we left and no hot water. I called every day and got the same answer. I feel really bad for the front desk girl that was very polite all the time but couldn't do much, poor management. I would like to ask to the manager of this apartment, how could you let three small kids take cold showers, let me tell you the age of our kids: 10 month old girl, 1 year and 1/2 boy and 2 year and 1/2 boy. I paid over two thousand dollars for a week. There must by something that renters can do when we get treated like that!!! This apartment (not a 4 stars for sure) is located in a dirty side of Harlem. The underground is 2 mins away but to get there you have to walk under two pipi-smelly bridges where homeless have made routes. When you walk in the building you notice right away that some tiles are broken and left on the side, the stairs are tight and dangerous, especially for kids. The door knob of the apartment comes off when you try to close the door. The apartment was dirty when we arrived, nobody came to clean during our staying. There is only one broom, no mop or floor detergent. It's a small apartment , especially for six people. We were three adults and there small kids. The furniture are from Ikea, cheap!!! A table with three chairs, a sofa bed (very uncomfortable) and an ugly rag, in the leaving room, in the bedroom cheap beds and lamps, not all the pillows had covers. Get ready to buy: shower soap, toilet paper, shampoo, laundry detergent and conditioner, house cleaning products. Not worth!
Wifi is so bad~
The apartment itself was comfortable and gave a homely feel to it.
The environment was very scary and hostile. we could hardly step outside out of fear. It was a culture shock seeing that we had spent over a week in Manhattan. The idea of going to pick the key up from another location was stressful. The tv signal was also poor and didn't have many English channels. Also I saw a mouse in the apartment. The washing machine didn't not work too.
The apartment was really nice. Was close to subway lines 2,3,4,5,6. The neighborhood at night wasnt really a problem
We had to fetch the key at a different location which wasnt really far (Only 1 station away) but still an inconvenience. Also, twice we didnt have hot water. I dont know if it was a problem of the building or if they were fixing something due to the explosion of the buildings in harlem
It was clean and well organized
The lack of channels on the tv
It was neat, clean and complete
It was awfully hot in all the rooms
LOVE THE LOCATION
no tvs in the room
