Front desk, maintenance & cleaning staff were great. Beds were very comfortable. Courtyard was relaxing.
Room 3 is a bit claustrophobic but mid-stay we had to move to another room because the ac went out. Our new room had french doors and felt less confining. Parking at the hotel lot is several blocks away and not convenient - especially if you have to walk back late at night.
Close to Bourbon street, but never heard the noise. Convenient to walk everywhere.
No parking, which is not unusual in New Orleans. Cost $20 per night to park 4 blocks away
located close to the jazz ,restaurants and the French markets. Staff were friendly when they were present. Coffee machine was nice to have. Nicely furnished.Good bed.
more comfortable chairs for sitting outside.
Great location, close enough to bourbon street and other venues to walk. Very safe and quiet. Very clean with a comfortable bed.
The staff were quite alufe!
The Inn is between Royal and Bourbon St. Walking distance to all amenities in the French Quarter. Coffee maker in the room and water bottles.
No chairs in the room and no desk. Room was noisy at times since it was on the street level
The best thing about this Inn was the desk attendant Carrie Sue.She was so well informed about the area and gave us great ideas on food and hot!! spots. The Inn was in really good location, clean, keurig coofee pots in room, plenty of pillows and toiletries. We would stay again on another NOLA adventure.
Would have liked chair in room...but really that's not a complaint.
Location great. Parking nearby. Great spa.
the inn has an excellent location on the quieter east end of the French Quarter. it is in staggering distance of the best bars and sights. the staff were helpful and seemed gay-friendly.
Booking an on-time taxi for the airport proved difficult for the front desk
The staff were polite and helpful. Everything was very clean and neat. Close to all stuff from French Quarter could walk or take pedal cab.
No parking by Inn you had to go four blocks over but, they did have a security watched parking lot. The walls are a little thin, could here your neighbors talking.
The best thing about this place was the location. It is about 2 or 3 blocks from the French Market and about 3 or 4 blocks away from the shops and galleries in the French Quarter district. Although is is adjacent to Bourbon St., this area was mostly residential and was very quiet. We also felt safe walking back to the Inn at night although the latest we walked in the evening was 8ish.
Walls are too thin and you can hear everyone and their business in the next room.
The staff were all fantastic, we were able to check into our room three hours early because the maid staff worked so hard and efficiently. The front desk was always manned by someone and they were all friendly and helpful. The bed was very very comfortable & the room stayed cold and we didn't have any issues with noise from other rooms or from outside.
We did not use the hot tub because the curfew was 9 pm and the water was not exactly clear. But in truth, that was all we noticed that we were disappointed with.
Central location Clean rooms AIR CON
It was in the French Quarters so had lots to see. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and entertainment.
The room was very small for three adults and on the second floor with very small steps so difficult for anyone who had difficulties with walking. there were no lifts. it did not have any breakfast room, so you needed to find a cafe for all meals.
Quiet, yet close to the action
If you hadn't left your room by 10.30am, you missed out on housekeeping for the day - no fresh towels, etc. No laundry service, no hotel info, no city info, no safe, no fridge
The atmosphere, charm and friendliness. Clean rooms.
excellent location, The room was very comfortable and bathroom was good.
The location was perfect and the rooms were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and did their jobs well.
Because of the limits of the architecture, the stairs going to the second floor rooms were steep and narrow.
The location is great for the French Quarter, you can walk to the river, Frenchman, Bourbon, Jackson Square but somewhat on the edge so it's still quiet. Would return to again, a good value
The inn is less than two blocks away from Bourbon, so it a quick walk, but far enough away so you don't hear the street noise.
The room I was in shared a small alcove with a couple of other rooms, so the comings and going of other visitors and staff was quite noisy. If a little more courtesy was shown (quiet voices in common areas, closing doors, rather than letting them slam shut...) it could have been lovely, but you can't count on that.
The staff here were very knowledgable of the area. Each went above and beyond their role to help us feel safe comfortable and happy during our stay. This location is ideal quiet enough to rest after a hectic night partying on bourbon or Frenchman but minutes away from all the action. Stunning building! Steep stairs when carrying luggage but worth the haul! Free wifi was a big bonus and really aided us to get the most from our stay.
Top level not very accessible for older guests especially those carrying luggage was fine for us! Room a little noisey within the property especially at cleaning time!
It was so cute! Rooms were very clean, staff was friendly. We had a room off the courtyard which I really liked. It was nice that we could drop off our luggage when we arrived early, and then were able to check in several hours early.
Shower water pressure was awful and it would have been nice to have a fridge, but otherwise no complaints.
Off the road room, little street noise Big bathroom and shower area Gated security Great staff response to noise complaint. 4am hot tub use against the house rules. Got shut down immediately.
Use of hot tub at illegal hours by noisy folks right outside our room.
Nice rooms with comfortable beds and a great location.
There were not any chairs in the room, you always had to sit on the bed.
The position was good and the room was clean
The room was small with no chair or seating space. Access was messy via a little uneven walkway. Room was dark with no view option - not what we were led to expect when booking! I accessed this venue as a HOTEL and it is very much a guest house in the process of being established!
