Tv was broken in room
close to my events nice location.
i couldn't conect to the wifi
great location,big room,very convenient,near to the shops,restaurants,gas station
Clean, fresh, calm and peaceful.
Sheets were dirty, room counters and mirrors were dirty, location on street was ghetto, not even kidding there was a porno being taped 3 doors down, prostitutes on our street corner
There really was not anything I liked
I didn't like how the customer servic was at the lobby. They acted as if we were 2nd priority. Taking phone calls and giving us a finger to wait instead of politely saying "give me one second please, i have to take this phone call"
I loved the location and how it was close to every fast food/convenient store. I also liked the hot tub and pool. It was really relaxing.
The non-smoking room smelled like smoke. We had to sleep with the window open all night to get the smell out.
Close to the beach. Right off the freeway. Friendly staff.
Bugs, mold, thin walls, not very clean, finicky outlets.
When we arrived, the nonsmoking room was full of smoke from the people upstairs. We moved and the next room had roaches on the bed and coming out of the radio! Stay away
Noise and crackheads
Wifi signal was weak, Television was outdated and cable service quality was not good
Hotel close to freeway
Room was dirty we cleaned the bathroom ourselves before using it and had cockroaches in this room. The Manager the next day did not seem interested in our concerns with the room and just offered a 10% discount which I feel we should have been offered a free night. No impressed with his professionalism at all.
The door to the toilet did not close i.e. the latch would not catch and it would be slightly open. No one to come up and unclog the toilet. We had to do it ourselves. Noisey people next door. A call to the office had to be made to quiet them.
The breakfast was ok. The pillows were not flat. They were nice and firm.
They forgot the wake-up call, it was okay because we were sleeping in anyways.
booked handicap room on line, but when arrived none available. Management stepped up and gave us a room that was by the pool that made it a whole lot easier for my wife to get to the pool and jacuzzi .This made our stay a lot nicer.
Parking close to room and close to resturants.
Worst hotel experience I've ever had with my wife. Disgusting dirty rooms tv or remote didn't work. Toilet ran non stop and they would not fix it. Horrible customer service even at corporate
Can not understand for the life of me why any hotel would not let their guests have their own air conditioner and heater! I understand it's a "GREEN THING" but I paid for my room to relax on vacation! It was uncomfortable during the day, especially when I get ready I have to have the A.C. on . and at night it rained and it was so cold it felt like camping.i had to turn on the hot shower & waste water to keep warm! That's not green at all! Stupidest decision this place could make! Cutting off their guests level of comfort & provide a horrible experience with bitterness and regretful memories of this costa mesa vegabond . I will share my experience with all of my friends and anyone who happens to ask my opinion of this vegabond.such a shame because it really has alot of potential. I will never stay here again and because of this experience I will always call ahead to make sure I have control over my own air conditioner and heater. Central air controlled by headquarters to help our environment is so ridiculous. I shouldn't have to be so uncomfortable in my room on my vacation to help the environment! I hate to say it but I hated this place over all!!!
Location is convenient. Rooms are alright.. Absolutely love that I can bring along my pet friends. Also they have decent breakfast
I didn't like the price or the size and date of the room. There was too much old bulky furniture which took up a lot of space. The a/c didn't work and the carpet was filthy!
I loved that this motel was in a very convenient location for restaurants and shopping. Everything was within a short walking distance.
Worst bed I have ever slept on. I had a nights sleep camping.
Location, continental breakfast.
They had a lot of people that looked like they lived there and when a lady died in pool they did not close the pool down immediately after
One or two sketchy types around including a young man who knocked on my door and asked if I had weed. Mostly felt safe though.
Well placed for access to Newport Beach and lots of local amenities. Nice clean pool and spa.
I requested a handicap room, I called the day I booked the room, I was promised a smoking, handicap room, I called the night before to make sure the room was reserved. when I arrived I was told there were NO handicap rooms, I could not go into office, no ramps, I had to fill out paper work in the parking lot, I could not have the free breakfast because I could not enter the lobby. the room had too much furniture, I am in a wheel chair, I could not shower, no bars on the walls, the toilet was too low, there was blood on the wall. I could not get to vending machines, no ramps... the lock fell out of the door, one of the locks was broke, the sheets on the bed had burn holes...
everything else was fair. Rooms outdated. Tv remote was broke. Alarm clock was from 80'S and did not work. Bed and sheets were horrible. Also some spider problems. Killed two of the spiders.
Location that's it...
A continental breakfast was available as advertised, but the selection of food items was limited.
I needed an economical place to stay while visiting in Costa Mesa for a few days. It was my first stay at a Vagabond Hotel, and I was very satisfied with the Vagabond. Would definitely stay there again.
