Vagabond Inn Executive Old Town    

we were there for cinco de mayo and it is walking distance from old sacremento no driving involved.

comfortable bed, good breakfast.

Rooms were nicely clean; some small tears in wallpaper in bathroom. Hot buffet for breakfast was very nice. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Great location, good price for the area. Clean rooms and comfortable stay. Great breakfast selection.

Rooms and decor a bit dated but undergoing renovations currently.

Good location, near to old town. It locates near to highway, but it is not too noisy.

It was walking distance (.25 mile) to Old Town. The hot breakfast was nice and the serving area was clean and replenished diligently - so plenty for everyone. There was a big patio for outside seating, but it was a chilly spring morning. The train museum was stellar and the Crocker Art Museum was unexpectedly very cool. Fun walking around the shops.

It was next to freeway, so you have to expect some noise. It was St. Patrick's day weekend, so we were awakened a few times by people returning to their rooms late.

your staff was very customer orientated and sensitive to my needs and schedule. Very helpful.

They smiled and said hello everytime,when problem came up they tried to solve asap,breakfast was very good

Van had duck tape holding on vagabond sign on ,transmission was ready to fall out, did not think it would make on shuttle trips,molding not on entrance door !inch gap between door and floor,letting in dirt,flowers,wind and bugs in room,they swept it outside when I first went in the room,cable from wall to tv broken had to fix,switch rooms from 2queens to 1 king and room was not assigned to cleaning staff to be cleaned, had to ask front desk to have room cleaned,had to find other form of transportation because of transmission?

Comfortable room with down comforter; convenient to walk to Old Town or downtown. Friendly staff who answered questions and were helpful.

No soap , pool spa closed and dirty, bathrpom heater not working. Sub standard.

The location

I had to switch rooms the first one I went into was dirty. They did not have the right room for me and the lady at the desk was very rude! The only person that was nice there was the maintenance guy.

Shuttle service wonderful. Breakfast was good, nice selection. Friendly staff Great location, near old town.

Gym, small water jug? Towels or cleaner to wipe after workout. Darken the windows a little so people don't stare. Room needs touch paint, hallways, elevator smells of smoke, deodorizer?

The staff was great...everytime we asked for something,we got. They were very nice. The location of the Hotel was in the center of everything we wanted to do,for that weekend.

The rooms were a bit out dated,and after the 1st day,we had to move to another room,due to a foul smell,because of the hotel sewage. This 2nd room did not have a drain stop to take a bath,and the t.v. was old.

Loved the location to downtown Sacramento! Practically right outside the front door! Also across the street from Amtrak, a bus station, and right off the highway so is such a easy location to find.

Perkos next door... Wouldn't reccomend even with the 20% discount we got for being hotel guests.

The outlet by the main table did not work at all so no light in that half of the room

Close to freeway with excellent off and on access: many restaurants close by in the old town: good value for money,clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast.

I entered my room only to find the previous occupants were not only still in the room, they were NAKED. Awkward. The hotel is due for some love but was the best we could find for the money. Nice newer bed and clean linen at least and literally 50 yards from the freeway.

The buffet breakfast was really nice. Also liked having a microwave and refrigerator. Really enjoyed the jacuzzi and the location was very close to some of the places we went.
