Ideally located. The staff throughout my stay were incredibly helpful and polite.

Breakfast selection- however I did wake up near enough at the end of breakfast so probably my fault :0)

Dirty room, stains and hair on sheets, safe broken, holes in wall, bathroom lights broken, wife grossed out by stains on sheets but too late to find another place! Rude manager who did not take our concerns very seriously.....just our money. Do not stay there

The room was not sound-proofed so noise from the traffic was unbearable. The toile was an after-thought, perhaps not intended originally-too tight! A/C not effective at all.

Extremely poor maintenance and housekeeping. Chain should investigate. Room 226 should be condemned. Moldy, smelly, leaky.

Tv didnt have all channels Wifi was slow Booked two queen beds but got two doubles. Customer service was par or below.

the location was noisy. fixtures were loose and coming off their hinges. mold around the windows as well as in the bathroom. they were about to not give me my room due to the fact that I am not 21 even though i had a reservation.

It's close to the beach. That's all I've got.

The facilities are old and run down. The fixtures in the bathroom were dingy and even though they had cleaned them as best they could, they did not look clean.

I cant really say there was anything I liked about this hotel.

What I didn't like 1st is there is a night club across the street playing very loud music until 2am. 2Nd the shower was moldy and there were open pipes in the shower and not all the outlets had covers. We got in late so we went to bed soon after we got there. We got up at 8am because we were going on a cruise. As we were showering and packing up the guest below us started pounding on the walls. I guess 8am is too early on a monday morning. The front desk then called saying we were being too loud. I explained we were showering to leave and the person below us is the one pounding. The hotel is also in what looks like a bad area.. Extra parking was next to an apartment building that looked warn down. Over all I wouldn't refer this place to anyone.

This place Is safe for the location. Full key entrance " NO KEY NO ENTRY" luv it!!!!! Comfortable and big bath tube baby Luved it.

Window coverings were filth but other than that it was good.

I liked how close the beach was to the hotel.

I was disappointed in the continental breakfast. It was the same thing day after day and the juice and milk were room temperature. When we first walked into our room it smelled of recent cigarette smoke. I have been in hotel rooms that are designated smoking, but this was different. Also, the phone did not work and the safe (that I was charged for) was broke the entire stay. Lastly, I was told there was a free shuttle that went to the aquarium, but the bus only went to Pine and Ocean Bld

According to the receptionist, Booking.com had made an error when reserving our room. We had booked the King Size bed, and I have the receipt to prove it. However, the receptionist said that booking.com had booked us two-queen beds instead. And that was all they had available.

The hotel was very dirty, looks like water damage on the curtains. The guy at the registra had to put on his socks before he could help us. We had 5 other rooms with friends and where there for a convention and will never stay there again. My husband and I have stayed in Sacramento Old town and it was great, clean and friendly people. The breakfast was old and hardly nothing there, not even a microwave. The place is the worst place I have ever stayed, if we could have gone we would have moved and gone somewhere else. I am sure the bed had bed bugs.

Location! location! location! I booked this hotel because of the high rating for location, and there were right! the location is awesome, short distance to the beach, downtown area, seaport village, and great restaurant. You don't even need to drive! you can literally walk to these attractions.

The hotel itself is a little bit of old fashion, overall is clean though. Out of all the other available room, we got the worst one (at least we thought it is). it is on the first floor, right next to the ice making machine. as a result, we had to suffer the noise from both the traffic and dropping ice. We asked the front desk if we could switch to other room, he said okay. However, we didn't make it since we have to rush out to explore the city instead of waiting around. Still, I highly recommend if you were on a tight budget and just want to explore the city

It was close to the beach and was walking distance to the convention center

Very good location close to the harbor (beach, Queen Mary, aquarium) and pine street (good restaurants). Very convenient as a starting point to la (30-45 min to downtown or hollywood). The room was big and clean. Enough parking space at that time of the year (christmas holidays).

Small breakfast room, breakfast very simple and not very good but it can be expected at that price

we stayed sat. night 12/15/12 tried to sleep in on sunday morning. we were awaken at 730am by construction work at the hotel! bad place to stay. i have made reservations to stay there in april 2013 and i will be cancelling them, also tried to take a warm shower in the morning, it was not even warm , could not wait to get home to take a hot shower! do not stay at this hotel!

Room and bathroom are quite big, the toiletry is ok.

Little smell inside the room, breakfast is just nothing. One thing that I dont like is the resident unit are separated from reception, it was raining, my suitcase was wet.

the width of the room was flabbergasting. For one guy, it was huge.

the smell of the halls; they always smell like smoke, as if people smoke in them regardless of the city by-laws.
