We asked if they had a fridge or microwave option even if we paid extra that wasn't available. There was a bar playing really loud music all night right across the street. The hotel itself and room had a weird smell.Over all a learning experience and we won't be going back.
Location!!! 1. 2 minutes walk to the beach. For that price - it is definitelly a good place to stay in! 2. Liquor store accross the street :) + Friendly stuff
1. Poor breakfast (corn flakes + muffin + coffee) 2. Curtains weren't washed for years I suppose, but the rest in the room was quite fine. 3. Better ask for the room on the third floor. When we staid on the second floor, somebody was walking upstairs for the whole night. And it could be heard very well.
Poor Security, Still have primitive televisions and cable connection, no hot water, no hangers, no press board, no iron. Breakfast had only coffee/ juice, muffins and bananas. No value for money. Rooms are small and unkempt. Left the hotel very next morning, though I booked for 5 nights. Opted for another property by paying $10 extra and 2 miles far from downtown.
Peace n quiet
Condom on the bathroom floor. Not from us. Nasty. Cleaning not so good. Not towels n rm. Stains on bed spread. Cable needs an upgrade bad.
The location was great. We could walk to the main street and the convention center in about 10-15 minutes.
The signal for the wifi was very poor even though we were within the hotel. There was not a lot to eat for breakfast, everything was too sweet, they might want to add something savory.
Really not much to like. Had some issues but I will say the Manager did try somewhat to help the situation so I will not give a poor rating.
In my opinion the place needs some help with décor and maitance.
Excellent house keeping
Minimal breakfast, extra for coffee maker, no refrigerator or microwave
The place nice and quiet
There is few stains on curtains
No room facilities ie. Coffee/tea/fridge/air con Safe needed service Poor breakfast compared to same pricing in Miami. Pool right on street level with car park. Bad location to main eating/shopping area.
Like: Location, Parking and wifi
Disliked: Everything needed upgrading, Continental breakfast was not worth eating, Pool was next to street, Elevator did not show floor number and room had No Fridge, microwave or in-room coffee.
I like it was clean the rooms arr soothing long lasting hot water.. and ac
3 different lazy front desk men that worked there.. theres no free water to drink..and breakfast was the worse. Eating cereal thats been in the same jar for god knows how long and then roaches are crawling all in that room..and i went to the juice machine and a roach came out the machine ...people didnt change my sheets or fix the cable the 2days i was there..they didnt fix n.e tging ask for
Comfortable bed, nice free breakfast and great hotel location.
Drapes were dirty and stained, bathroom/shower had mildew and grime. Also, room smelled like mildew.
The location is good, and transit around the area is also pretty good.
The breakfast is poor.
Location is super close to the starting line of the long beach marathon! Staff is friendly and coffee/continental breakfast is available earlier than normal that day. Makes it nice for us runners.
If you get there late on that particular day -good luck with parking and if you're lucky enough to find one, don't plan on driving anywhere because you will lose it. You will have to take a cab to dinner. No parking allowed on the streets either. That's the only downside however it is expected since 20,000 people run that event.
Sheets were dirty! Staff didn't respond to repeated attempts to have room cleaned. Extra charges added without notice. Extreme noise of other occupants at the hotel and nearby businesses which was constant all day/night
the room had no hanging closet no where to put fridge but in the middle of the room..and i left three brand new 75.00 shirts and nobody knows what happened to them . i called the first time and was told they had them.i called back 5 days later and was told they were givin to the salvation army...i actually never wore them either..what a joke this place is i should be reimbursed
Location. I went to Long Beach for the Marathon and this hotel location was perfect for it, very close to the finish line. That's all, I would never stay again there if not for the race.
Breakfast was better to say they didn't have it. Very old facility and noise (you can hear other people walking above you).
close to boat slips
mold in the tub shower ph did not work. sheets on bed very worn out.
location is great staff is very helpful and supportive wi fi works well
Staff attitude. LOCATION. Price for location. Fresh fruit at breakfast.
Just a suggestion: maybe add some protein bars to breakfast. We had a diabetic with us, and there was nothing solid to eat for him.
Poor neighboorhood. Overpriced for what we had. Disgusting breakfast. Room was not clean. Found a funny looking bug on wall....Anyway wish I had not booked there
I liked the proximity to convention center and beach.
Filthy windows and window screens. Two windows, one with curtains to block out light, one without. Stained carpets made me keep my sox on. Stained and broken furniture made me not want to sit anywhere. Didn't like that at time of check out they made me pay for the one bottle of water that I drank that I assumed was complimentary. Parking lot so small that they stack park the entire lot. You have to call the front desk and wait in the hopes that if you check out early, you can get your car out. I made two separate bookings but instead of combining them at the time of check in, I had to do the whole check in procedure twice. Terrible lighting in the rooms. At night, with all the rooms lights on, it looks like the room is lighted with a dying flashlight. There's a restaurant across the street that's open late that has a lot of noisy drunks(which isn't the Hotels fault but it's still very noisy on a Friday night).
Horrible, rude staff that went through our belongings, tiny towels, barely clean room, broken light switches, large hole around the light fixture in the bathroom ceiling and one night we had to park across the street at the Chevron because of inadequate and badly handled parking arrangements!
