Value for money. I was passing by the city needed a roof over my head before heading to to LA.
Nothing much to say. I know this is not a Hilton and I didn't stay long enough.
Nice staff, large comfy rooms, nice pool and spa area, covenient location. Would stay there again.
Breakfast area is too small, beverages were great but should offer a healthy breakfast choice too instead of just sugary pastries. They could offer milk and cereal for a fee to recoup extra cost.
The rooms were not clean. The towels were not clean. One of the beds was missing a sheet, once I called the reception, the answer was that they don't have housekeeping at that time (what was I supposed to do? Sleep with no sheet?). The other room smelled like there was a dead body in it. Bottom line: pay a little or the same more and sleep in a clean place.
Wi-Fi wasn't working
It was clean, comfortable, affordable, and located within a reasonable drive of great sites and attractions.
The pool is not private enough (get some screens or hedges) and the tv is really old.
Night Manager does not enforce the quiet hours with guests. SLO has a noise ordinance in their code. Had to call the PD myself & was awake from 11-12:30 due to loud music, singing by another "guest" at the hotel. Do not recommend staying here.
Close to supermarket.
The proudly advertised continental breakfast was absolutely dreadful. Too far from town centre.
Breakfast was poor!!!!!!!
Location - close to freeway (but not too close to be noisy) and other amenities
Facility was clean and the first guy at the desk was really nice. Good value for money but
Room smelled like smoke Also when I checked in I asked the front desk man if I could use the pool area after my check out time the same day. Said I had a daughter that was going to cal poly and they had midterms and wanted to visit and do school work there before I got on the road to go home. No problem he said. The next day I went to pool (know body there) and asked my daughter if she wanted to bring a study book and we would hang out for awhile. Right when we walked in the pool area a man said u have to be a guest. I told him my name and room number that I had and told him I had permission to stay there already from the check in guy. He came back super rude and said I wasn't staying there do I had to get out in 39 minutes. I told him again that I got permission and have many times used the facility after check out because our flights go out later etc. They even will keep our bags in lock up. He was super rude and offensive. I guarantee if my husband would have been there he would never have spoken to me like that. We will never go back and stay there and we stay in SLO many times a year.
Fridge, microwave, wi-fi. Lots of TV channels. Big room. Fresh muffins for breakfast.
It was inexpensive.
Some one smoked near me within a nonesmoking area and i smelled it each time they lit up. Also i had to go back 3 times to get a working key card.
Quiet and convenient.
It felt like a room in a horror movie
Convenience to Hwy 101 Comfortable bed Clean room
Slight smokey smell in room which we got used to, and then was fine. Breakfast is very sweet, simply coffee, cheap juice, and refined sugary pastries.
Convenient to the highway, great for getting on and off for an overnight stay.
The room was comfortable for the price.
The air conditioner needed a good cleaning and didn't work properly. And you shouldn't advertise a continental breakfast when it's just coffee old apples and frozen tiny muffins. Lower your prices for returning guests.
It was fine for the cost.
Just had continental breakfast, had to eat at Denny's, had a few ants in room, not enough outlets, the ones they had were big and our plugs fell out.
Linens were shabby in fact the entire room was pretty shabby.
the location was close to family members and excellent shopping the scenery was awesome !! It's up the hill away from freeway noise
Front desk attendant on 9/16 Did not go out of her way to be friendly and she is your first point of contact for the Inn. she needs some training , This is the customers first impression of the Inn . She acted annoyed when we asked about the continental breakfast the following morning . Have a sign that reads breakfast from 8:00am -10:00am then ppl won't ask. What she does not know is that we are professional waiters from a 5 star hotel and we pick up on these cues. Verbal or non verbal .
Location from cal poly and everything else.
It smelled, dirty,
The staff listened attentively to our concerns and appeared anxious to please.
TV remote did not work. TV did not have the 3 major network stations available or due to language barrier, the staff was not able to understand our concern re availability of these stations.
everything was great
easily accessible from the freeway not too far from town
old, dingy, threadbare towels thin walls when the nextdoor neighbor opened/closed the room door, the walls in my room shook selections for continental breakfast-
