The swimming pool ! Perfect after a hot day :-) Awfully noisy ... The 101 is very close. People returning to their room at any time of the night slamming the doors, a woman talking on the phone at 1 o'clock in the corridor :-( The toilets were stuck ...

very little the party next to my room and the inability of the desk clerk to ask them to be quiet @ 2 a.m. in the morning for starters, then the manager's failure to reply to my request for compensation, then the desk clerk hanging up on me a week after my sleepless night when I asked for the manager to call me back.

Great price in a good location. Anyone traveling to the area for activities like cycling, this is a great place to stay.

Needs updating, deep cleaning, new rugs, furniture and paint. Hallways smell like gym bags. Loud neighbors awakened us at 3 a.m. Smokers hanging out in stairwell makes it smelly for others exiting building that way.

Your comforters were more updated colors, not Motel 6 design. At least our room #215. Even with many young people there for the bike ride, it was quiet. I needed body lotion and there was none to be found, just shampoo.

It was basic but met our needs. Poor location, scary people roaming through the parking lot, a fight broke out in or hallway at 3:00 A.M. that almost scared me to the point of dialing 911.

VERY noisy. Heard every step upstairs, as well as everything in the halls and other rooms. No phone. Couldn't even find the phone number to call the front desk when the man across the hall starting beating up his wife at 4 a.m. No clock. Terrible towels. Strange small pillows. Bad breakfast.

Bed was comfortable. Big windows that let in lots of light and fresh air and possibility to open curtains / window as they don't just open onto a public walkway. Fridge and microwave in room. The internet is so slow as to be practically useless. This is really frustrating if you book a hotel on the basis of free wifi because you know you need it to organise onward travel / research your trip. Breakfast finishes too early (9am) so no breakfast for you if you went to bed late!

It clean. Breakfast plentiful, good choices. Nice breakfast room. We asked for another set of towels, receive them right away. House service was aways either cleaning the floors & mopping. Elevator was very handy, since we were on the third floor. Gave us directions to the restaurant of choice. It was a very good stay. The traffic noise, on the freeway. But it was ok.

Nothing Starting from curb appeal of the building, it looked run down. The pictures of the place made it looked as if it were a very decent place, but in reality the appearance as you drive up, looked dreary. In general the place needs to be renovated, its very dated. The doors to the rooms are paper thin, every time someone shuts a door, or walks by talking you can hear it loudly. The windows are thin and also, can hear people talking or cars drive up, especially in the middle of the night. My bedspread cover had some sort Red Stain on it, that's Gross. The Tv's were old and a couple of the channels had very bad reception. The person at the front desk, when checking us in did not even let us know that a Continental Breakfast was provided, I had to ask her.Poor Security, around the building, doors leading inside the building were always open with rocks, or garbage cans wedged into them to prevent them from being closed.Just overall a bad experience, I would not stay here again, or recommend this place to anyone.

The staff is extremely rude and un professional. I was called vulgar names and denied my $50 cash deposit back simply because I was a couple hours late checking out. I notified the front desk of what was going on and that I had missed my bus yet they refused to return my money. I will never stay at the Santa Rosa Vagabond again!

Convenient location The smell was musty like the non-smoking room used to be smoking rooms. The fire alarm went off at 1am for about 20 minutes.

Price/location booked for 2 people in the room but only got towels for one each day. Had to go in search for extra washclothes and hand towels each day there. Coffee maker cord would not reach plug without putting machine on floor. Wall plugs in room were worn out. Would not hold prongs of plug- in items. No bath mat towel 2 out of 4 days there. Coffee using sink water in room tasted terrible. Coffee in breakfast room needs coffee mate creamer cups and raw sugar packets to make it drinkable. TV channels limited...couldn't watch Mon. night football.

There was no tub mat in room so one could take a shower without fear of falling while showering. Buffet breakfast was a joke! Fruit was all miniature size, danish was squashed inside plastic wrap. Muffins and bagels were very small also. We decided to forego and went to a restaurant for breakfast. Would NOT recommend to friends.
