bathroom to small
Furniture placement was not ideal. One less dresser but a desk and chair would have been nice. There was only one chair in the room.
Location near downtown Vail
Room was not a hotel room, just a small bedroom of a one bedroom condo, no access to living room.
The spa is amazing and location can't be beat. Friendly staff too
The hours of the pool and hot tub. Needs to be available from 8 am to 10 pm
Location is excellent. Rooms was clean with awesome window views of the ski slopes, the Fall colors are amazing. Staff was friendly and found my lost sunglasses after handing in our key at check out.
This was supposed to be a trip to propose to my girlfriend. I asked for the room to have a fireplace and balcony and apparently the 'deals' do not have them. Only found that out after checking in. Weeks prior I asked for a room with red (since the rooms are all unique) and DJ at the front desk said he'd not only do that but would have a bottle of red wine waiting for us. Unfortunately for our weekend, NONE of this happened. I'm waiting for another time, perhaps a little more perfect than the Lodge Tower could provide to propose now.
Every thing, the town of Vail was luvly,
Center of Vail
Continental Breakfast was minimal. Could be much better and more commensurate with the facility's high quality feel and location.
Beautiful place. Room was gorgeous
Should add coffee to the room. Have coffee makers but no coffee
Staff was courtesy and make me feel at home. Breakfast were very good quality and even better on weekends.
My room was the smallest, and no balcony. However very comfortable for one person. Table of deli meats and cheese for daily breakfast will be great.
location, car parking and breakfast
room was small for two queen beds
Great pool and hot tub; perfect location. Good breakfast with many options .
Walls a bit thin as we heard other guests and had a noisy group below us.
The location was perfect! Very large place with huge balcony! The pool was also really nice!
A great location, right in the middle of Vail Village and a very short walk to ski lifts or shopping. The public areas were pleasant. The staff was professional and courteous. The continental breakfast was better than average. The bed was comfortable and the TV was HD and included a good selection of viewing choices. Parking was convenient and plentiful.
The hotel wasn't really a hotel, it was a condo attached to a nice hotel via an outside corridor. Our King room was small and lacked the polish I have come to expect from highly regarded resorts. A small desk was used as a nightstand, the headboard did not match the other room furnishings and plate glass covered the wood surfaces of the simple pine furnishings. The HD TV was the smallest I have seen in any hotel room recently. The room included a large fan because there was no AC. The room's window looked out onto the balcony of the room next door, which would have made opening the window a bit unsettling. The tiny, poorly laid out bathroom was nicely finished including a granite counter top and a towel heater. A giant mirror attached to the back wall of the shower was an oddity. The 7 story building's single elevator was a bit quirky.
Fantastic spa, pool and hot tub with a view! Really nice to be able to use these fantastic facilities after a busy day being a tourist :-)
The breakfast was VERY basic... So don't expect an all American breakfast if staying here!!
Rooms were nice and clean
Rooms were small
This was way beyond what I expected. We got a 1 bedroom condo, which was enormous. it had two full baths! Super comfortable, pretty and specious. And was very reasonably priced. On the last day we also discovered the spa - I which I knew about it earlier (my fault for never really reading emails with info) .
There was some strange water pouring sound that was coming from somewhere. We couldn't figure that out until the last day. Turned out to be the heater! If you are a light sleeper that could be a little of an issue
Visited Lodge Tower in the summer. Not sure how close it is it the lifts, but it's perfectly situated in the village, nestled against the mountains and ideal for summer. Rooms are lovely, clean, comfy and even equipped with a humidifier for the dry weather.
No air conditioning, which we could have used when we were there. Jacuzzi closed at 8 pm, which seemed a bit early to me.
Huge rooms, great location. Nice staff.
10am checkout time, although they let us check out at 11am.
Wife became ill and was hospitalized. Not knowing how long I need to stay beyond my reserves. The staff assured me I would have a room.
The staff was very helpful and so nice! The daily breakfast (especially the pastries) was delicious! We also enjoyed the pool and gym :)
The carpeting in room was worn and stained. Did not match the renovated bathrooms and nice bed linens.
breakfast accommodations helpful staff daily newspapers helpful staff members convenient location
parking wan't easy....but not really a problem
Beautiful facility.... ideal for winter vacations. Breakfast was Continental but ample and handy. The building was a beautiful well built older type that brings back memories. Staff super. Attached parking lot. Must be cozy in winter
No AC and it's summer. Left the windows open which caused lack of sleep due to the noise outside... 2 am and again 4 am
Bed was super comfy
Breakfast needs improvement, bagels were hard as a rock.
walkability great location Breakfast included
