Score from 37 reviews Very good
Ski lift right at the hotel. Good shuttle to village,
Chair lift and restaurants
The sofa bed uncomfortable
Nice comfortable facilities
Not close to village centre but shuttle service handy
Really close to the lift and the shuttle every ten minutes to Vail downtown. The gym is great, also with tennis and basket court indoor
Not a really new hotel, but it doesn't matter
Restaurant was obscenely expensive. The restaurant manager didn't care that his Kobe beef was marginal, at best. Very disappointed with the restaurant manager's approach to a reasonable observation about his offering. The meat was okay, not at all exceptional and certainly not worth what was charged. No offer of relief from the manager.
unhappy with staff and service ,forced us to pay more for larger unit as they did not have enough beds as per our booking.they know we were 6 of us . they blamed booking .com
Great staff, great location and great amenities. Just a 5 minute shuttle to downtown Vail. Very easy to navigate with an 8 and 10 year old. Atwater Restaurant had an awesome breakfast Buffett, (very fresh) and dinner was even more amazing. We met Tucker, (a Portuguese Water Dog) he is at work with his owner who sells the Penthouse residences at the hotel. Tucker is kind of what you call the "hotel dog", everyone knows and loves him. We were missing our family dog while on vacation and Tucker helped to fill that void. Great family vacation! We will definitely be going back, thank you Vail Cascade!!!!!
Some things needed updating, but you can definitely see they are really working on things. It's a wonderful work in progress!
We had a terrific time in the pool and playing basketball. The hotel is beautiful and all the staff are working hard and so friendly.
There wasn't any coffee in our room and the coffee in the cafe wasn't very good.
Bed and cheap pillows
Everything was perfect from the surroundings to the staff and amenities--bar, pool, hot tub, chair lift, etc.
Location, room and service with skis concierge
Very expensive - over priced in my opinion almost just because of their location. They had two big events on whilst we stayed and the place was heaving the bar was packed and then a conference and if you happened to walk down a corridor when a speaker had just finished it was crazy especially if you were in your robe trying to get to and from the hot tub after a hard days skiing
Location Hot tub
people and access to ski lift
loud furnace made it difficult to sleep
The manager in charter sport ,Ronald,is really nice .
The hotel is little pricy.
Close to the lift, but it is not the real ski-in place as they advertised. Hotel shuttle, ski concierge.
Well overpriced! The both hotel and slopes. Hotel doesn't clean the snow at the entrance, pool, hot tubs. No service at the pool. Broken hot tub. They didn't try to fix it for a week, but did renew the sign that it is broken. Breakfast buffet and the service is a joke. Slopes are not groomed fast enough and the lifts stop frequently. No information about the benefits of the ski pass. Management should be changed, for sure.
The staff (doormen, concierge, check-in, waitstaff, etc.) were very friendly and accomodating
Firm beds. Warm/cool hot tub. Music playing through the night loud enough to keep us awake. Ver dry air from HVAC system. Thermostat limited range so it was uncomfortably warm to sleep in.
My boyfriend and I went for his birthday and had a wonderful time. It was so relaxing and the room was so nice and comfortable. We loved how quiet it was. Would definitely go again!
What a beautiful cozy getaway. Had a wonderful birthday dinner. There are many, many places to relax by a fire inside and out. All facilities are top notch. We definitely stay there again.
Location Views Spa Outdoor hot tubs Outdoor fireplaces River walk in front of property Colorful landscape
mattress sank in middle which totally messed up my back and left me with a poor night's sleep and a headache; Baby cried and screened for over an hour next door without and no parent around.
The staff were amazing! So helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and so comfortable. I felt right at home as did my dog Yogi. He settled in to resort life and snuggled up for a nap right away.
The staff was wonderful. Upgraded out room for free when we told them it was out honeymoon. Had the creek running by our balcony! Pretty awesome place
I loved how the place felt like it wasn't overcrowded (it was Labor Day weekend) I never had to wait for anything. It was as if we were one of the only couples there, quiet peaceful, tranquil .
Rooms were kind of outdated. I didn't research everything that the resort had to offer. I didn't feel like the staff was very informative on what all they had to offer. But of course I was stressed and may have been putting off an unapproachable Ora. But we did leave with smiles
Location, outlook etc fantastic. A real standout was the staff. Everyone we experienced was warm, friendly and helpful. 100%!
Room was slightly old and tired, not too bad though
All the photos of the 3br condos indicate they are all within the resort but they are a 5 min walk away in some rental condos built in the 60's. I could have got it VRBO for cheaper. The condos are not in the resort or a part of the main facilities
