Polite.friendly. quiet and relaxing. Staff was.amazing prices well worth price. Definitely recommend to everyone
Location is fine, room is fine. Not much else to say, since all we needed was a place to sleep for a few hours in-between events.
Language complications. Asked if they had a roll away bed for the room, and the response was, "yes, you can put extra bed in if you want", three times we asked...sigh, welcome to America!
The clean kichen.
The staff are very friendly, rooms are well maintained. The comfort of the beds are good and i really liked that its located near a shopping center.
TV and AC and bed and furniture fine.
Bathtub should have been replaced years ago. Hot water in tub was only warm. Bathroom window filthy.
Run down a bit
room in dis-repair. bath room floor sticky. bath room door won't close, wrong size toilet lid so seat won't stay up, lost of noise, you can hear the guy in the next room snore.
man at desk didn't speak or understand english very well. Didn't know the address when i asked.
it is a great location, close to all the shopping and restaurants.
The property is very old and broken down, there is peeling everywhere on the wall and ceiling. Odd lay-out of the bathroom. The bathroom cannot lock. The faucet keep making horrible sound and very low water pressure. The closet is right next to the bed, which you need to jump on the bed to get to the closet. The AC unit is full of DUST. The most horrible part is the service. When we check in is already after 5pm, when we get the key and open the room. It was not clean. Then I go back and talk to the Manager or the Owner, he said " we are full tonight, there is the only room available." Then I asked "So, you suppose we clean the room for us?". Then he when and ask on of the staff to clean the room. But we park our car in front of the room for 10 minute, and still nothing happen. I talked to the Manager, and said that we will go for dinner and come back, hope the room will be clean and ready.
Quiet, comfortable, no frills but clean, spacious.
The door lock could be better.
The bed was comfortable
The pillows were very flat as if there were no pillows at all.Too few towels.
We stopped there to visit LA. It´s about 1 hour drive to Santa Monica Pier and Walk of Fame. The price -performance ratio is great. The room is big and quite clean. Free Wifi and Parking Space. Location was good and safe with many supermarkets. Microwave in the Lobby for free to use!
There was a fridge in the room, but it was turned of and the door was closed. So it smelled when we opened it.
a leak in the ceiling from a rain storm but truly an act of nature so negative comments needed
Location was good
Hotel is in need of an update. Everything is in a rundown condition.
I stayed for the 2 nights of the 2014 Breeders Cup at Santa Anita (6 miles...15 min. straightforward drive). Between the hotel and the track there is everything you need. Didn't hit a single race saturday until i put $200 to win on Bayern. got back $1420. that'll pay for the room, if you can swing it...
had to squash some bugs...but for that price in that climate, no surprise. i also hit the exactor in that last race...3 horse, $10 box...paid $1250. so, there are issues, but i found the whole experience quite worth it...
The Valley Hotel caters to budget minded asian travelers, and so makes every effort to provide a clean, quiet, and safe environment. Problems are rare, but are handled efficiently
Language can be a problem at times, but I have never noticed a chip on any of the staff's shoulders. The biggest drawback to me is that every room does not have a microwave
For the price it was a good experience. Staff was nice. No crazy stuff. Room was clean.
The wi-fi was the only real disappointment.
poor cleanliness, bed linen w/spots, pillow without "white" covers, must shown evidence of sanitizer used on bathroom, carpet with spots
Very nice lady at front desk. Fridge, sink, counter Good bed Has lamps
Problems with Wi Fi walls & carpet not clean.
It was so easy to see the sun set and sun rise at great canyon without get up early at 4 am and take the bus to go to the great canyon. I can took a lot of good pictures because a few people left at great canyon at late afternoon. The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable. Got what I paid for and more. I enjoy the real nature.
there were less activities and event during the night.
Wifi is awful. You cannot use the Wi-Fi to do anything, even emails.
The place was dirty Unable to adjust water temperature They did not have enough bed sheets or towels. They have to wash your old ones and bring them back to you. The room was not ready 8 hours after we left in the morning. Very disappointed! And there were ants, cock roaches, and bees. I told the manager and he just smiled. Did not speak English well.
I like it was convenient & close to businesses. On the surface it looks clean
It had roaches. .I reserved a non smoking room ...was given a smoking one. It did not have a fridge. The doors did not lock tightly. The room smell freshless
The location is close to work, the housekeeping staff was very good, we had brought our own sheets and they were tucked in for us. The Wi-Fi was working great, so my daughter was able to do her homework from her laptop.
There were baby roaches walking around in the bathroom we killed like 8 of them on the first night and five on the second night. The cheapo manager wouldn't give us another room key, we had 3 people. The beds were sad, had 2 sleepless nights.
