I like that the value motel had running water in the bathroom. I also like that it had a bathroom. I like the room had a bed. I also like that the bed was the stated size, a queen. I also like that the room had a door that locked.
This property is so unmaintained that literally everything is falling apart. Some lighting fixtures don't even have lightbulbs. So, the room was dark. The stairs leading to our room were totally sketch. The door felt like it could be pushed open with a small bump, it was so loose in the frame. Just getting to the property forced the patron to drive through an area of a much larger property that was completely boarded up and condemned. In this condemned area homeless people resided. It made for a lovely sight driving through. I could go on. Horrible, even for the price.
Lights in bathroom flickered, tub clogged while showering, floors noisy when walking on them..
Entrance to hotel is hidden and hard to find. You have to drive through boarded up building to get to it. Person checking me in kept making me wait while he continued to answer the phones after I had arrived. Had to use the restroom when I arrived and was waiting to check into my room. When I was finally helped after telling him I had to get somewhere I was told that my room would be read in a few minutes. Check in time is at 3:00 PM, I did not arrive until almost 5:30. I told him they had a few seconds because I needed to use the restroom. Light next to the bed did not work Hard to enter and exit the room, you have to step up or down which is rather high for someone with bad knees The bed I slept on had a plastic cover on the mattress, found that very odd.
The bed mattress was good with good water power for shower
the bld next door was boarded up- shady looking people hanging around - could hear people above our room walking around on a sqeaky floor- toilet water running - staff very seedy looking(wearing Bob Marley garb)
The shower had good water pressure. The room was surprisingly clean for the rest of the sights and smells.
Value Motel is an old, grungy, smelly, half falling apart motel that's hard to get to even though its right off the interstate. My room smelled like pot.
The room was clean & bed was ok comfortable. Staff was friendly.
Would like at least a one-cupper coffee maker in room, or free coffee in lobby. Most places offer that, even the cheapies. The TV reception was bad.
There was a lot of hair on the sheets. The room was about 100 degrees F upon our arrival, and while the AC worked, it didn't cool the room down sufficiently for about 3 hours.
Other places were booked and turned to this place for one night -- Would not recommend to anyone. The place was run down and of questionable character. I should have had the sense to avoid the place once I got there and discovered the receptionist's desk is behind a glass shield. Too bad it was too late to cancel my online booking.
The motel was run-down and badly in need of repairs and updating (bathrooms and carpets were worn and dirty, outside stairs were extremely rusty), and ice machine wasn't working.
Close to super market.
Room is small Noise
staff was great. right off i5. bed was comfy and quiet for being by a main freeway. there were no issues!
didn't like that there was no hair dryer or a coffee maker. & the bathroom needed some maintenance. just some cleaning possibly or new flooring.
Right off the freeway so easy to find. We were only looking for an economy spot for the night.
The property is riddled with abandoned buildings. The chair in the room was FILTHY. They would be better off leaving the plastic chairs and removing the cloth filthy chair.
A decent place to stay for a fading queen.
The staff is always willing to help and accommodate you in anyway they possibly can.
There's no ice machine. The Wi-Fi signal is weak and sporadic at best and 95% of the time there's no signal @ all! Absolutely 100% not worth the $5 they charge for the inconvenience!
When we checked in the girl was extremely polite, nice, friendly, and very helpful. The room was OK.
When we checked out a different woman was just borderline rude! I asked if they had an ice machine, NO! it's broken. It could have been said without an attitude. The room clearly was a smoking room as there were cigarette burns all over the bathroom sink, floor & surprisingly even the shower! We would have asked for non-smoking if we had been given the chance when we booked the room. There was too much furniture in the room, gave it a crowded feeling. When using the mirror to brush my hair; I kept hitting my hand/arm on a desk.
The room smelled awful and I had to leave the AC unit off because it only made the smell worse. The staff was slow. I couldn't fall asleep due to the noise from the room above. You can hear every movement. TV was unclear. I woke up with large, itchy red marks on me, I'm assuming they are spider bites. There was hair in the shower. The surrounding area did not feel safe. This was the worst hotel ever been to. I've stayed at budget hotels before, but none have been so awful. Do not stay here ever.
The convenient location to freeway.
The air conditioner was janky!! On the coldest settings possible the damn machine ran long enough to drop the temp in the room maybe 5 degrees then shut off!! Then after getting up & manually turning it off you'd have to wait anywhere from 5-20 min before you could attempt to turn it back n11
