good value for the money
Service girls live at the property to service your lonely needs. A place to sleep is fine. Not for family travel vacation
Room was dirty staff I'm not sure where they came from but very rude not a good experience at all
a/c was almost non_existant. lights in bath did not work found ticks crawling in bedding, blood on shower curtain street, people loitering in parking areas. refrigerator not working, no microwave in room tv cable was broken curtain was hung over window with piece of wire. I did not report any of this I double locked the door pushed the refrigator in front of it and waited till first light to get my family out of there.
I liked the price. For the price I got exactly what I paid for.
Hotel is dirty. There was red stains on the shower walls, not sure if it was blood or hair dye. There was a pubic hair on to of the microwave.
Very nice manager. He gives discount automatically, because the room is not ready when we arrive.
environment is a little not clear
Only good thing when I complained about my first room which had a noxious odor, no television or telephone I was given another room. Otherwise, place is horrible.
Run down building, rooms not in repair, not daily service calls, staff extremely unprofesssional: a woman who must be a housekeeper asked me for "change" to get something to eat. Also a lot of clientele is rather questionable (motorcycle "Hell's Angel" type hanging around motel grounds.
NO TOWEL，service sucks
no towels，the service sucks
Cheapest place around
We were checked in two times in occupied room. When they had no more rooms they upgraded us to twin. Staff reacted to this as it's usual situation. Hotel is very old so everything is dirty and nearly worked.
There is nothing you would like
It was terrible. The room was dirty and there was bug. The room smell disgusting
I booked this place for my husband and now he will never let me make reservations again for me. He checked out one day early and asked several times whether he would be charged for that night. He was told no he would not be charged but he was. My husband is not a very picky person either. This has to be a dive.
Nasty prostitution filled
Requested non-smoking room. Clearly one wasn't available. The room smelled like an ashtray, as did all of our clothes as a result. Bed was ok, but just one pillow each, which were so thin, we had to fold them in half. Bathroom sink wouldn't drain without using a plunger. Shower ran barely warm. There was no housekeeping.
Access to Room
Not enough power outlets
I was on a personal trip with family n yall a facilitate it everything for us in every way possible
The staff was rude, would not bring us extra towels or pillows made us walk down stairs to get it. The environment was very scary, would not stay if single women or a group of women with no men. Didn't not replace towels or anything after our first night either. Over all horrible experience!
Location to visit New Orleans, Walmart closeby where we coule actually walk, good restaurants.
Condition of the hôtel, the matress was finished and level of noise from other tenants who live there I think permanently.
good space for the price. many food options near by. Friendly staff.
needs more lighting and mirrors.
Nothing, but the location.
This was the worst place I have ever staryed. The rooms stink of stale cigarettes. The floors were filthy, we made the kids were socks in the shower. No way were they going to sit in the tub. Cigarette burns all over countertop in bathroom. Booking.com should be ashamed to represent this hotel. The actual cost of a room here normally is $35, I would be hard pressed to say it was worth that much. We needed a room for Mardi Gras and these were the closest rooms available to New Orleans. No rooms any where in Slidell -- we paid $85 a night. Totally over priced. You can bet I have already got a reservation for next year and it is not at the Value Travel Inn. the place should be condemned.
Room was spacious.
Room was not clean. Bathtub had trash and hair in it, paper was all over the floor, the head bored was broken on one of the beds.
The only thing that i liked about this hotel was that it was in a great location.
The hotel period.
I loved the area, it was ducked off in a little corner at a stop light so no problems getting in and out. Walmart was a 2 min drive and there were nice resturants all over the main street we were off of. The price was wonderful but now I know why haha.
The room had not been vacuumed , the restroom was nasty (I wiped the toilet seat and the towel was brown afterwards), hair and filth all over tub and sink. Door frame had been fixed several times and really needed replacing and swing latch lock was missing. Second night there my boyfriend and I came in at 1:45 am from visiting Burbon Street and our card key no longer worked (this happened several times during the whole weekend but only this time there was no help). No one in the office so we called the emergency number provided on the door and got voicemail all morning and the manager stays on site but would not answer the emergency room door either (really??? I'ts 40 degrees, we are cold and tired and no way in). We called the local police, they told us to call sheriff's dept. , did that and they tell us its not a criminal matter to go to another hotel to stay. Our clothes and personals are in this hotel room though! We got let in our room at 6:20 in the morning by a new office employee that had no clue what was going on...I was refunded for a partial of one night on our room (Attendant told me that the owner would not let her refund me a whole night on a room even though I slept in a car!!!!
the fact that it was cheap and close to New Orleans.
the electricity didn't work when we first checked in, the door was stuck and you needed to shove it to get it open, there was no remote, there was a piece of wood holding the leg to the air conditioning unit up inside the room with jagged edges, given a smoking room when I reserved a non-smoking room, the curtains were all stained as was the rug, there were stains on the ceiling from water marks and there were burn marks on the bathroom counter/tub/toliet. The whole room was dirty looking, the "breakfast" that was promised was toast and instant oatmeal and there was no silverware, only plastic spoons, the ice machine was broken and not working either. We pulled in and one of the other guests was working on his paving truck in the parking lot with an extension cord running from his room to the truck and his pick up sitting beside him (in the roadway) with the windows down and his music going. the room on a whole was just plain nasty!!!
