Superb location. You are practically on the beach. Nice roof terrace and a great view. Room smelled great. Very, very small room. Uncomfortable bed. Noise insulation nihil.Despite all that a small price to pay for a great location. |

It was an excellent value for money! The staff and especially the owner were really helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, and overall it was a very good experience... Recommend! The rooms were a bit small for two girls shopping, but still - good value for money! |

We arrived to the owner showing us where to park, and welcomed us warmly. Our room was immaculate. We were right on the beach so spent most of our time there. It was wonderful to have a little patio on which to sit when we wanted to get out of the sun. We had our wine and cheese on the patio in the evening, and slept to the primal sounds of the ocean. Heaven! |

Great ubication to visit Venice area and the beach, many shops and restaurants nearby but hotel is very quiet, and no other hotels around, so you get full local taste. 45 minutes walking to Santa Monica Pier. Staff is very professional and extremely helpful. A bit too pricey |

Very welcoming proprietor, great location, good directions & parking.Informative on where to see the sights & the best places to eat ----all accurate--sleep with the sound of surf ..It's worth the extra few bucks for a 2 star hotel with real caracature.. Don't expect a hearty breakfast |

We like the location on the beach. The sheets were not clean, there were somebodies hair on them and black spots as well. The towels were not clean either. we thought someone had used them before. The room and bathroom was more than small.We could open our two suitcases one by one.The breakfast was not existing only one packed danish pastrie and bad coffee and the terrace was extremely dirty with dirty ashtrays and the only armchair was so filthy that we preferred to stand. |

Excellent location, right on the beach, but a few minutes walk away from the grit and noise of the T-shirt shops and all of the typical Venice Beach scene, so it is more comfortable and romantic. A minute's walk the other way and you're among a bunch of great lively bars and good restaurants where Washington St meets the pier. Great spot, good value. Manager (owner?) eager to please. WiFi needs some tech support. Good coverage from the access point, but couldn't connect without knowing the WEP key, which manager didn't know. Maybe a newer OS then my Windows XP would hook up, but no joy for me. Used the public computer instead. No problem. |
