The view is wondrrful. The sound of the sea, waves. Beach is 10 meters away.
Number of Homeless people around that area was verry high. They were sleeping next to the beach. These were not nice.
Staff was helpful when we first arrived! Very clean room with plenty of space for the two of us who stayed. Room had a little kitchen with fridge that came in handy! The hotel is in a perfect location on the beach!!
Room got pretty hot and there was no ac but there was a fan in the closet, which helped but it was quite loud which made it hard to fall asleep.
Had the room on the 4th floor with the beach view. Really amazing and worth every penny... Would come again to Venice Suits
Because of no AC it was noisy during the night
I love venice and have stayed on the boardwalk a number of times so I knew what to expect and the venice suites met my expectations. its ideal for self catering, good location. close to santa monica and main. if you are expecting a luxury hotel you will be disappointed!
very noisy, not very clean although this may have just been our room as it was on the bottom level leading on to an alleyway.
Location right on the beach. Nice view from the roof terrace.
For this price you would expect much more! There is no reception to help in case of any questions / issues. There is no AC so you need to sleep with open windows but the noise from the beach is really loud.
We enjoyed the location. It was right on the beach. The staff was friendly.
The rooms were very very hot! No air conditioning and no air flow coming in from windows as it's located between other tall buildings. It all could be resolved with something as easy as a plug in fan! It was very hard to fall asleep being so warm!
The apartment was clean and comfortable, well equipped kitchen, nice contemporary style. The self check-in procedure is fast and safe.
The area is full of homeless people so we didn't feel really safe. The 4 windows of our apartment were not equipped with curtains so it was impossible to sleep after sunrise.
Directly on the beach. Parking included. Next to S. Monica, but less expensive
beach front is desert during night, which might even be not safe (eg for small children and girls alone). Quite expensive. Probably one should evaluate S. Monica (even if I prefer Venice during the day) or something more inside Venice. No tea/ coffee available in the room.
no air conditioning.
location (quite colourful)
One of two staff was not helpful at all (his attitude was kinda Oh whatever). The other was simply excellent and helped with everything with a smile No AC (and it was hot even at night)and on the first floor you cant open windows due to security and privacy (literally next to the other building (1m) and their entrance, very noisy (next to their garage too and the back alley where you have a lot of cars) and the building itself is not well sound proof)
The location was perfect. We loved our stay, and are looking for a longer holiday at the same place.
Parking space was a little bit too far.
Location is excellent. Good wifi.
The view of the wall outside the window. The noise from people upstairs.
Very clean, excellent location, secured parking, staff was very polite and helpful.
Nothing to dislike
Right in the busiest part of Venice Beach, beautiful rooftop terrace, comfy bed and larger room than expected, everything clean and airy! loved it!
bit hard to get downtown esp on public transport but plenty to do around the venice beach area :)
The location was brilliant - right amongst the action. The check in system was easy and communication before arrival was seamless. The room was clean, bright and be achy. Clean towels - and even a beach towel!
My phone didn't work :(
Amazing location, fabulous roof terrace. Would definitely stay there again.
top location the suites were a good size good value helpful staff
On the edge of the 'dark' part of Venice Tired decor
-The roof garden -The guy in the office was friendly. So was the cleaner. -it was clean and secure - The restaurant near the parking called Komodo. Wow.
-The price/value for money -Venice beach after dark - lack of human interaction - The parking. - no pool, restaurent etc. See below. If you get a good deal, (we didn't) then this place is worth it if you'd like to experience venice beach. My advice, go to venice beach during the day to witness the madness, then get the hell out of there at night. The room is comfortable and clean and the self check is ok. You can go to the office if you have any problems. No pool, no food, basically like living in a nice bedsit for a night. The parking is a 10 min walk away which is not ideal but ok. The highlight is the roof garden which is superb. All in all, I'm not unhappy that I stayed there, I'm just annoyed that I paid that much money for a beach front when frankly, venice beach after dark is not somewhere you want to be. Save your money, see it during the day and go and find a nice hotel inland for a lot less money and a lot more service.
Location was perfect for Venice Beach. Wifi was good and free. TV was good with on demand facility. Free parking although a 5 minute walk away.
No air con!!!!!
The location and the view from the rooftop was amazing! THe room is very clean... had wood floor and its steps form the beach and restaurants and bars.
The suite its not suitable for 3, but i didn´t now that. THey had a confortable "hospital" bed and with this bed we did not have space to move around in the room. They gave us a room on the 4th floor, but the elevator was really old and we had to take 7 rides to take our lugagge, without any help. THe parking is far, like 10 minutes walking fast, and the parking card was broken and we had problems every time to go in and out of the parking. Our room had the toilette seating broked and only half of the cooktop was working.
- clean room - central place - direct on the beach - great roof terrasse - washing mashine + dryer
- bed wasn't that comfy - view to neighbor's wall - very loud from above at night - very loud from neighbors at night
Beachfront location was amazing; really friendly people in the locality; clean, well decorated, comfortable rooms; beautiful building; well organised entry system.
We paid 60 dollars extra for a "sea view" but we were around the side of the building so could see aircon units and next door's roof terrace. Only pay the extra if you are guaranteed one of the rooms at the front of the building.
