Location, location, location!!

No breakfast included in price?! Although it gave us an excellent excuse to explore around and find a lovely breakfast spot around the corner.

Location, bathroom, the bed, the staff.

Very thin walls and ongoing renovation of the hotel quite noisy.

Friendly and helpful staff and stylish rooms.

NYC hotels in general are way too expensive

Geographical location. Clean.

Booking.com did not take into account that there is a couple coming, not a single person. No room to range your belongings, only one night table with one lamp. We've got a single room with max capacity for two.

Nice design, single room not as small as most NYC single rooms, interior room had a large sky light that made it nice and open feeling.

This hotel is situated near to Union Square and Metro in all directions.

We had a bad TV reception because there was a problem with the cable. We gave a message to the receptionist and we get a bad motifated answer that the housekeeper will repair the cable. After our arriving in the night I repaired it by my self with my own knife and nail scissors. An other situation we had as we want to give the postcard to the receptionist, one time she could the postcard gave to the post one time not. The last but also the least: The rooms to the street are very loud also with closed window. Because I had another hotel before 2 blocks far away and a cheaper one, now a have a good comparison and can´t recommend this hotel.

I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

It did not affect me but the friends I traveled with did not have a window in their room and I could see how that would be bothersome. I would not have liked that and I was very glad it was not my room.

The bed was good and the bathroom was recently redone. Flat screen TV built into wall was nice. Price was very good.

Rug had a pretty big stain. Room was very small. No view.

The bed in our room was excellent! The room was clean.

There wasn't a toilet brush in a restroom. It was too noisly outside the room. We heared the voices and steps of other guests next floor and outside the door.

The staff and hotel were fantastic! I. I highly recommend this hotel. I will stay here from now on when in NYC.

The Hotel was nice and clean in a very nice neighborhood. Bedding was clean and comfortable.

We had a room with no window. To be fair, there was a sky-light, but it was up at least a full story. It was unnerving and uncomfortable. Our room was not available until late evening as we had dinner and theater plans. It was not cleaned the next day, although the housekeeper knocked and provided us with clean towels as we were preparing to attend a wedding around 4:30. The room was excessively warm and could only be cooled by opening the door. The desk was unable to help.

The staff is so incredibly helpful and 100% available. The hotel lobby smells really nice. The rooms (I checked into 2 rooms at this hotel) are spacious. The bathrooms also are very spacious.

The walls are very thin, so I would recommend bringing earplugs.

I did not like the subway rumbling under our room all night long. It was quite impossible to get to sleep.

The hotel was perfectly located near to Union Square with a really nice staff, especially the blond georgian girl. For a 3stars hotel it was perfect: very clean, very cosy and comfortable. I loved the shower, it's the first time I'm happy with the bathroom although I'm traveling all the time and took some 5stars before. There is an atm machine in the hotel which u can take off money, but it's limited to not even 200 dollars. There is a map with metrolines available for free and you have coffee and tea facilities also for free. Like I said, it's near to Union Square so no need to take a taxi. Metrolines take you almost everywhere in no time. Plus there is in the neighboorhood a warehouse, a starbucks and so on, so whatever you need, you will find it easily.

At night there was a lot of noise, like a metro or train passing by, we fellt some heavy vibration in our pillows, but we got used to it very fastly. The bed was too little for 2 persons, but we survived and it was really comfortable. I found it pretty weird that there wasn't a brush next to the toilet.

Room was comfortable, if small. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Bare walls in the room were a little bleak.

Complicated lighting system. The required key return with cash penalty needs to be eliminated. Frequent business travelers will be frustrated by this. Being required to checkout at the front desk is inconvenient.

The staff was very thorough and professional. The property nicely renovated and any questions we had were handled quickly and to our satisfaction. Centrally located, rooms quite clean and comfy. The location right off 5th Ave was great for us!

Rooms were set to 73 centrally my wife was a little warm.

Redone rooms are very nice and the twin queen room very large. Comfortable beds and roomy bathroom. Great location.

Had to call front desk each time you wanted to change in room temperature (very strange). Construction in the hotel basement during time we stayed there was noisy and dusty at times.

Great little boutique hotel on a quiet street in a fabulous location near Union Square. One of the few hotels that offers a family room that can sleep up to 5 people. Free WiFi and very personable staff.

The carpet in my room could use a good cleaning. I miss the free continental breakfast that was initially offered and I hope they bring that back.
