Great hotel for the money. It was easy to get to Manhattan via the Q/N subway line. The staff was great, especially Chris. Room was very clean. Loved the balcony. Small rooms but big enough for sleeping and showering.
A little noisy from the subway train but got used to it. Could of used a fridge in the room. The breakfast was very minimal.
Great location, short train ride to manhattan. Rooms were good size. Facilities good. Good hotel.
Too noisy in the rooms at night. Breakfast room too small.
Very friendly staff!
The lights inside the restroom was dark.
The entire staff were great and the location can't be beat for ease of transport into Manhattan. 2 subway stops to Lexington from hotel.
Would have been nice to have more storage space in the room.
Great staff! All of them are so careful. Just a few steps from a metro station. Almost in Manhattan. The room I stayed was large, beautiful, clean and had a nice view. For sure I'll stay there again.
A good bathroom mirror light was the only thing that I missed.
All of the staff were so friendly - from helping to park the car on the street to even assistling in parking the car as I don't do well with parallel parking. Another person even came to the room to assist with wi-fi and the needed to reset it. Excellent job by all staff members.
nice location, close to subway with direct connection to central Manhattan
# breakfast was a disappointment two of the four mornings I was there: 45 minutes before the end of breakfast coffee finished and they didn't brew more, no more bagles, no more cheese ... # wifi was off regularly: I had to call reception a total of 7 times asking to please reboot the system
Position not bad because of the close subway
Room very very small, no hot water from the sink in the toilette, shower not wkring well, no wardrobe, no lights close to the bed, terrible and ridicoulous breakfast, price crazy for the value of the room and services. Absolutely overrated! If you check well, you will find much better hotel in the city center for a comparable price!
- The location of the hotel next to a subway station and 15 minutes away from Times Square - The rooms are spacious, well decorated, and cleaned
- The breakfast! Room too small to accomodate all the people of the hotel. There was almost nothing to eat at 8:30-9am. The lady who was taking care of the hotel wasn't efficient at all, we always had to ask for orange juice, breads, coffee, etc
Room location (#107), noise from front desk, incomplete maid service, minimal/poor furniture, no luggage stand, broken mattress
The location is excellent. Is located just one block from the 39 st station and 2 stations far from manhattan. Is a very safe area. The price is very well if you comparewith manhattan hotel rates. The hotel staff are very friendly and always ready to help you. Rooms are very nice and clean. You get complementary cold breakfast (coffe, baggels, yogurt, cereal, juice).
The sector is a bit noisy in nights. However not a deal breaker
staff are very nice and helpful, location is very good in a nice area and the subway station is close to the hotel, the room is nice, comfortable and clean, Wifi signal is good,
if you are late for breakfast you will find nothing to eat, it will be a good idea to add a small fridge in each room
The quality of service and the location of the hotel made it an excellent choice of stay for a great rate! I am very happy I stayed here and will be back! Thanks!
The location was great. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and large. The balcony was a nice feature .
The guests next to us on both nights came in at 4 am and proceeded to play music , talk loud and smoke on the balcony. Management in general was just ok--there was a lack of attention to detail. The outdoor space adjacent to the breakfast area could be wonderful but was not set up--why? There was a place to smoke in front but no ashtray? Try harder !
Very close to city by subway Value for money
Kitchenette too limited
The wifi connection could be better
The staff made our trip. They made us feel so welcome and safe. Great hospitality. Clean. Small rooms but super comfortable and great location to explore. Great breakfast and great price.
No wardrobe. Only a small hanging space...and we were 2 ladies with lots
I liked everything from the size of the room, to rose petals and swans on the bed. It was def a breath of fresh air in NYC. Will def stay again
Close to La Guardia & JFK Airports. Subway at the end of the road, with lines that get you to the heart of the city easily. Comfortable room, very quiet area, so you can get a good night's sleep after a busy day. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable & cooperative. Continental Breakfast perfectly adequate to set you up for the day. Delicious Cookies on the Reception Desk! Yum. Would use this hotel again.
An extractor fan in the bathroom would be a good idea. View not as good as I thought, but to be honest I was so exhausted after sightseeing, that a comfortable bed, a quiet area and an efficient cold air fan more than made up for this.
The view from the 9th floor and the balcony. Close to subway stations. The small room looked fine and had a European flair. Bathroom had a modern look with an all glass shower door. Free continental breakfast. Guests in the hotels across the street paid much more than I did.
The neighborhood in which this hotel is located is not stellar. Poor light in the room, specially in the bathroom. Not enough light for proper grooming. In the single room there was no adequate space to put things. No dresser, no drawers on the small modern desk. Only six flimsy plastic hangers. No space to put your clothes. Very limited space to put the toiletries because of the pedestal sink.
Staff is increadibly friendly and helpful. Great location and the wifi speed increased and improved since last stay. Was a business traveler and room didn't have an iron or ironing board but was given upon request. Will stay again in the future.
Breakfast does the trick but nothing special, like many hotels these days.
Everything, pretty much. Staff were excellent, that was obvious. Location is particularly good as is the view. Facilities good and it was nice to have your own fridge and hotplate.
One small minus: someone snored for one night next door and I heard it for 2 minutes but then fell asleep. Apart from that the only thing was that I only found out on the last day that there was a fitness room there but that was my mistake.
breakfast proximity to metro lines helpful, friendly staff
Close to NYC. Friendly staff.
Not many local eating options in the area. Parking was a challenge.
