Folks. We're. Nice. Quietness. Spacious. And. Close. To. Transportation
A couple of things in the room were unfinished - the curtain was broken at the top and the plug by the TV was loose. We didn't have a "Do not disturb" sign.
The location was great, nice and calm with good travel links to Manhattan. Spectacular view of the Manhattan skyline from my room.
The walls in the room are paper thin and i would not recommend travelling with a Family. We where woken one night by the people in the room next to us playing loud music and having sex, which is really not good when you have children with you. What is worse is when they moved out the next people moved in and we could smell them smoking weed on the balcony all night. The hotel is very noisy if you get a front facing room you can hear the train all night long and windows and Balcony doors do not feel the most secure and with all the noise does not feel safe especially with children.
The hotel is good value for money when compared with similar hotels in Manhattan, only 2 tube stops away from Manhattan it is a good base for a trip to New York. The Rooms are clean enough if a little dusty around the edges but nothing you would say was too dirty.
The stone shower is painful on the feet! don't know who thought that would be a god idea.....
The staff here is prompt, attentive, and accommodating. Very easy and pleasant to work with.
Good location, close to metro station. Nice view at Manhattan skyline. Friendly staff. Neat chamber with a good (but a bit small) bed. Reasonable breakfast.
The room I booked looked nothing like the photos. And yes, I did book the correct room since each photo had the room name listed under. Sheets had a few stains on them, but not worth the hassle of getting replaced. By biggest gripe would have to be NO SHOWER PRESSURE WHATSOEVER. The sink had more pressure which is really sad. 1 review I read said that the higher up floors were better so I chose that option. That wasnt the case.
-Free Wifi -Deli right next door
Price and location , right near train , 2 stops from 5th lex
This property is in fair condition overall. A hotel it is not , high rise motel yes, boutique by no means . The room rates are very high based on the surrounding hotel offerings. The amenities of Home 2 Suites or Holiday Inn across the street are a better value. Vetiver recently posted on Groupon site at $99 a night which would be more acceptable . Overall would not recommend to a seasoned traveler .
Location was near down town , bed comfort, that's it...
The staff was hospitable & took great care to ensure our comfort during the visit.
The elevator is very slow and there is only one. Better take the stairs if you are on a lower level. The room was not well isolated.
Very close of the train, 5 stations away from Time Sqare. I found a place to park my car easily. It's possible to leave our suitcase in storage the day of our leaving. Price is excellent for what we got.
No parking/street parking very difficult. The no ice machine on floor. The wood platform on the bed was very wide and kept banging leg into it.
Pretty room. Feels like city living with the balcony. Delicious cookies at reservation desk. Lol
You feel like you bore the personnel. The room are really small and especially noisy with weird cracks and pops coming from the building. The neighborhood is absolutely pointless. The bed and pillows were of bad quality. I really had a bad night. The price ratio is thus really poor. I had a very good experience in the Bronx for some more bucks.
The view is decent but you can have a better one walking.
The toilet in my room required flushing when I arrived...kinda gross. I was informed that there is no smoking allowed on the premises. Not a problem. However, there were several cigarette butts on my balcony. The elevator was out of order.
It's a great location. Easy parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Quick access to the subway.
The breakfast was carb overloaded and the same everyday
The location of the hotel is fantastic, make sure you explore the area around the hotel. N line into Manhattan very easy
Area is on development. few restaurants.
Good location near Subway station. Easy access to Manhattan. Nearby grocery store.
Out of Manhattan but with easy access via subway
Nice hotel, good breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms
The lobby was very cold
The bedroom was clean and modern
The walls are thin. No parking so everyday I woke up at 9 to feed the meter
It was close to the highway. Didn't take me long to get to all my destinations. You really can see the skyline ! Lil market a few doors down .
Housekeepers are very late and room not clean. Breakfast tables not clean because nobody cleans after guests havıng breakfast. Elevator 9th floor out of order 5 days. No lobby
Shower looked a bit dirty. Room temperature was hard to control, heating was either too hot or not hot enough and made room really dry.
This hotel is perfectly located right next to the 39th ave subway stop. Room had great natural lighting.
No parking I received a ticket on a Saturday for the first time in my life
I loved the room set up everything was modern... The staff was the best part of the stay. They are all about customer service
When we turned the water on in the sink, water linked on the floor; when showering, it took awhile for the water to get hot; the toilet paper holder fell off and was never replaced; there was a little mold in the bathroom. In addition, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator and microwave oven. Would I stay there again? Yes if the place is better maintained.
I loved the customer service and the fact that the subway station is about a five minute walk from the hotel. The room was spacious and had a European feel, with a balcony. The price and location to the subway was great.
Price/quality Metro station nearby
The bed didn't have a fitted sheet OR a mattress pad. We had to call down for a pad, but the hotel didn't offer fitted sheets.
