The subway station is really near.
No free parking, but there's parking lot 20$/day over the corner. Breakfast was poor, cofee - undrinkable.
I loved having my own balcony and the view was great. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. The subway being nearby was convenient
The bed was uncomfortable and the room was rather small. I didn't like the fact that I could hear all conversations that took place in the hallway on my floor.
Overall, the hotel left a very good impression and I would recommend it to my friends. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, definitely the highlight of the hotel. Cleanliness of the rooms was also excellent. The size and the facilities were good-ish for this category of hotel. View from the rooms was decent, the hotel is very close to the subway, which makes the access to Manhattan easy.
The area where the hotel is not that nice, but felt safe enough. Breakfast did not offer great variety and were rather poor, too much sugar... Only one lift for the building, so expect some delays especially in the mornings. Otherwise, no complaints.
My family and I had a good stay. I would just recommend to improve the breakfast. The attendants were gentle. This hotel surprised me positively. Good location, near by subway (one block from station), good value. It is a great option.
The cost The closeness of the subway The ease of getting into New York The staff were always pleasant
warm chocolate chip cookies at the front desk!
wi-fi blocked me front work-related sites.
Two mins from subway. 10mins into manhatten. Why pay twice/thrice the price to stay in manhatten.
Small hotel Close to subway
Noise from street Breakfast room too small, no tables available to sit.
Close to Sbway
Room to small for 3 persons
1 spacious room with nice interior, balcony and beautiful (from 8th floor) partly Manhattan skyline view. there was everything we needed. 2 comfortable bed 3 working table 4 kitchenette 5 close to subway station 6 very welcoming and helpful staff, especially Chad, who helped us to park our car for free for 4 nights! Thank You very much, Chad!
1 breakfasts are not too varied 2 lack of hotel's parking lot
Great Manhattan view, complimentary breakfast, comfortable bed, close to 39th Av metro stop so easy to get to Manhattan.
Studio rooms are small, soundproofing poor both for exterior noise and other rooms/corridor. Wifi was down for 24+ hours during stay. A few bars / restaurants within a 15 - 20 min walk but stay elsewhere if you want a more lively location.
Close to Subway , excellent in every aspect and half the price of staying in NYC but with the same benifits. We will definetly stay there every time we come to NYC.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean.
There was construction nearby outside our window through the night. Some of the furniture needed repair.
Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Located so close to subway stop. Only a few minutes to Times Square.
Rooms are too small. Only 1 chair, 1 side table. No room for luggage. Bathroom lighting was inadequate. Breakfast room left a lot to be desired and was overcrowded. Stayed at Home2 across the road the week before and it is much better value in all aspects.
+ position (close to the subway) + cleanliness + staff
- neighbourhood (looks safe but not wonderful) - room size (limited for US standards) - wifi (not always working) - breakfasts (not more than fair) - waiting time at the elevator
Beds were comfortable. Tv worked without any issues. Spacious room. Wonderful bathroom. Felt safe in neighborhood. Very close to train and nyc. Highly recommend.
You may open the window and breathe non-conditioned air. Excellent! Location is good. Near subway station. Two stations to Central Park. Very clean not big room. It's seems to us this area are safety for tourists. Friendly staff. Good price.
Continental breakfast is the same everyday. Too many Russians.
A nice and modern hotel with a very pleasant staff. Travelling to and from Manhatten is very easy with a subway station just over a hundred yards away. Definitly a hotel I would recommend to someone else.
The subway was noisy because it was constructed on an elevated steel structure. So we had to sleep with the windows closed. But that's just nitpicking
Great hotel for the money. It was easy to get to Manhattan via the Q/N subway line. The staff was great, especially Chris. Room was very clean. Loved the balcony. Small rooms but big enough for sleeping and showering.
A little noisy from the subway train but got used to it. Could of used a fridge in the room. The breakfast was very minimal.
Proximity to Subway Line.
Train noise if balcony door left open for air. Breakfast selection marginal and room small for numbers.
Great location, short train ride to manhattan. Rooms were good size. Facilities good. Good hotel.
Too noisy in the rooms at night. Breakfast room too small.
Quite hotel, pleasant staff, suitable for longer staying
Not big variety in breakfast...at least try adding ham and cheese
Very friendly staff!
The lights inside the restroom was dark.
The entire staff were great and the location can't be beat for ease of transport into Manhattan. 2 subway stops to Lexington from hotel.
Would have been nice to have more storage space in the room.
Great staff! All of them are so careful. Just a few steps from a metro station. Almost in Manhattan. The room I stayed was large, beautiful, clean and had a nice view. For sure I'll stay there again.
A good bathroom mirror light was the only thing that I missed.
