wifi should be free for a hotel in this category One one chair in a doubleroom, not good
good placement for a visit to New York Nice staff good service
Breakfast is very limited
Nice hotel, clean, location and Nice staff
The gentleman at the front desk was a gem. He was very kind, professional and accommodating. We arrived late at night just passing thru on our way to Florida. So your hotel is beautiful, clean, and smells great but honestly when I tell people about my stay. The actions of the gentleman at the front desk will be what I rave about the most.
Snobby girl at the front desk
Staff are incredibly helpful, polite and willing to go above and beyond to help guests. The concierge team are top drawer.
Lifts and common area carpets need a revamp!
Roof bar, concierge, beds and linen, staff very helpful and pleasant
Nothing to dislike
Loved the location, staff were very helpful and pleasant. The Roof bar is a great experience - fab cocktails as is the restaurant, good food with a great bar. Would definitely recommend a stay here
Location Facilities Staff Bars Bed was very comfy
Just the small room
The bed was really comfy and the room quiet, the restaurant was very good and the roof top bar great but expensive
Location. Very friendly staff. Definitely coming back.
,coffee maker broke, replaced, phone broke, replaced, room cleaning took three calls
price, location, roof bar
room service, internet
- no free wi-fi - cold floor in the bathroom - noisy airconditioning system (almost ridiculous for a 5star hotel) - locking us out from the bedroom because of a frontdesk mistake
young vibe cool environment restaurant the roof top bar
We were told from booking.com that we had free wifi, but had to pay 10$ a day!
The hotel is placed just right! The staff is very welcoming and nice, and they will make sure your stay fits you!
A couple of very small things (faucet in shower) had some functional issues.
Modernity and feeling of space in a relatively small room
no free wifi they ask me to pay the full rate plus deposit(~150$ ) once I checked in and they charge it all from my credit(not only preauthorization) they claim that it will be return back to my account within 5 days till now nothing happened be careful for this during check in
clean and nice furniture
Staff not very attendant, rooms too dark and small, shower heads unfunctional, very small common areas
Love the location! Super friendly staff, the view was amazing, the room beautiful. In room service 24 hours and they do their best to make you feel super VIP
Poorly designed taps for the shower and the aircon is a little noisy.
Great location, excellent staff, well equipped room with a super soft bed. Rooftop bar overlooking Central park another plus.
I didnt like the corridors - ie the carpet and the paint on the doors all looked a bit shabby. Also there was no facility to make tea -- albeit there was a very fancy coffee machine (I don't drink coffee!). I would have like sparkling as well as still water. I also thought the breakfast menu was uninspiring.
Loved the staff - they were extremely helpful and could not do enough for me during my stay - 12 out of 10 for them.
On the evening of 26th March 2015 was served by a young girl in the Kingside restaurant which is part of the hotel and her attitude was foul, almost as if she didn't want to serve me and my sister. No great tip for her.
The atmosphere and friendly staff.
The room was a good size, with comfortable furniture, warmed to the perfect temperature, and a bed that gave m the best nights' sleep I've had in weeks, and definitely the best sleep I've had in NYC. The bathroom was well-lit and appointed, clean as was the entire room, with generous toiletries. All plugs were accessible and there were enough to charge all of my devices at once! And again, the best rest in a long time... Their linens are Sierra (it's nice to have that touch of home while traveling).
The location of the hotel is very good and close to all you need. However the staff was not that friendly as you could expect and that you had to pay for wifi in a 5star hotel was quite disappointing.
Breakfast, lobby bar, rooftop bar
