Great location, fabulous bed, hotel staff were great!
Bar staff slow, little storage in rooms, no bath!
Location was the best. Two blocks to shopping and all the good stuff.
Rooms were matchbox sized and absolutely no closet space.
Bar and Restaurant very nice
Rooms are small. No storage.
This is a great hote, well located with friendly and helpful staff. We will return to stay there again
Rooms are small with limitd storage space
Excellent position. Great roof top bar with views across Central Park. Short walk to Fifth Avenue and Time Square. Plenty restaurants and diners nearby..can recommend the Italian across the road.
So close to 5th ave and central park.
Room was small but average in New York standards.
Convenient location and outstanding staff. Great ambience.
Roof top bar closed most of 2 out of the 3 evenings I was there due to private parties. Realize it's the holidays but that was s bummer.
Tiny rooms , no space to hang clothes.
We liked the position, a very good wifi connection, clean bathroom and all the comforts available in our room. We had two undergrounds close to the hotel at the 57th St. / 6th Avenue (line F) and also at the 57th St. / 7th Avenue (Line Q, N and R).
The service was not really corresponding to such high category hotel. They took two days two remove a dirty napkin or for example they forgot a dirty towel to clean in our room. When I was calling the Customer Service, they had not clear in mind what was included in the tariff or not.
Location, Style, resturant and Roof top Bar
The view and location was amazing. The hotel is brand new but also has a super stylish classic feel. The room service and fast free internet access were excellent. As a bonus we really liked the toiletries and free bottle of water each night. We let the hotel know it was our anniversary and they left us a little treat and personal note.
Great coffee machine but we drink tea. Cocktails are uncecessarily expensive in the bar (suppose it is on 28th floor with unbeatable views). It would be great if the bar space was open in the day so guests can see the view in daylight. We suffered a little from traffic noise all through the night (18th floor!)
Very small room
Loved the Roof Bar
Our Deluxe Room was way too small.
Size of the room Size of the fitness Missing SPA/wellness
Great central location
Bed is comfortable.
The room is too small.
I liked the location. The hotel staff was friendly except for the roof top bar which they acting like you were bothering them when you ordered anything. The beds and decor were good but the rainshower head in the shower made the water trickle out.
I didn't like that the another guest blared techno music at night. I guess because of the value they get a young crowd that stays there with many young adults bunking in the same room. Wasn't as elegant or spacious as it looks in the pictures.
Wifi, room decor, service
A stylish hotel in an excellent location. The service was brilliant; the staff were friendly and efficient, and the rooms were spotless.
Everyone is extremely nice and eager to accommodate as soon as you step up to the front door. The rooms while small were beautiful and well designed for ease and comfort. I wish my bed at home was as comfortable as the bed there. The bathroom was gorgeous and the shower was roomy with great water pressure and lots of hot water. Even after my friend took a 20 minute shower I still had plenty of hot water left and the shower products were amazing. We got a room with a view of the park and it was breathtaking to say the least. The illy coffee maker in the room was a great start to the morning. In addition they provide you with a smartphone in the room which is your alarm clock and TV remot as well as a guide to the hotel. We did not try the downstairs restaurant but did go up to the roof top bar. The view was amazing as was the atmosphere. The location is not to be beaten and I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm back in NYC.
The room is a little small but the space is used well so you're not falling all over yourself.
Staff is excellent and location is good
Rooms don't have a closet just a tiny cabinet next to the bed thats not practical. Not family friendly bc room is very small and no mini fridge. Good for 1-2 persons max. Shower had no pressure.
Staff was very helpful The roof top bar was great The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever experienced in all my travelling
A bit pricy seen to the size of the room but if you consider it's in NY it's ok.
location roof top bar
climate control in the room
Perfect location to shopping and business. Excellent service and terrific food and drinks!
Bed was comfortable, room was clean, location great
We booked a king superior room and were really disapointed by its size. Its very small. Also, the viewnwas non-existant. Our window basically was in front of a building were we could see other people's windows. When i called to share my disapointement no one at the front desk offered to do anything, except if i paid another 120 dollars per night. I had already spent over 800 dollars for the 2 nights, i told them that should be enough to get at least some kind of view. I shouldnt have to pay 1000 dollars for 2 night to see something out my window. The beats speakers and the coffee machine are great touches but that is not what makes a good hotel .
