눉We purposely paid extra for a room which was suppose to have a nice view but instead we got a dark building in front of us, and when I did ask for a room which was just couple floors higher and still within the price range that we paid for we were not accommodated and were simply told that it would not make any difference... we did check in early enough but no effort to make a guest happy was obvious already. In addition to that it was disappointing to learn that every day the staff kept giving us wrong info about one thing or another and one of them was a suggestion by the consierge regarding best way to buy Broadway tickets, we ended up paying $ 100 extra based on the recommendation, that was absolutely unprofessional knowledge deficit. A lot of misinformation and mistakes by the staff with the addition of a really tiny smal room for two people to share, especially if you stay for more than couple of nights couldn't make everything more disappointing.
And when the House keeping didn't clean our room after we left in the morning and returned at 5pm and were waiting for clean towels so that we could get ready for the show I decided that I will not recommend this place to any one I know. I am glad to be able to share this information because we did not even complain to any one during our stay. Therefore the manager of the hotel should feel lucky enough to have this hotel in a great NYC, where we could not wait to get out of our room and forget the disappointment of the place.
