Score from 2589 reviews Good
Excellent staff. Very comfortable room and beds. Excellent coffee machine with Illy coffee in room. Close to Central Park, Times Square and Subway. Breakfast was very surprising and healthy. The best we had in the US.
Only location was convenient and bed comfortable.
Room tiny. No closet space. On top of each other. Awful value for money. Indifferent reception staff, only one concierge useful and polite. Never again will stay at this hotel.
Really good! The best is The location, and The front door workers!
Rooms dark and inefficient for business, room not ready at 5:30 pm when I checked in. Room next door playing loud music and partying until after 4 am.
The view from the room was simply amazing. The staff was outstanding.
Tiny rooms Long wait anytime you want to use an elevator
- close to Central Park - rooftop bar - staff
- continuously needing to re-login into WiFi
Chris, Dana and Jeannie were very kind and helpful. They are excellent ambassadors for the hotel
staff very helpful sorted out our problem with no fuss.
The location is walking distance from most points of interest, the staff were vert helpful with advice on what to see and where to go. The room was comfortable and clean.
The only small point was the bed base that was a bit larger than the mattress which was easy to knock your ankles as you walked around it.
The location of one block away from Central Park makes this hotel one of the most affordable boutique hotels in New York. The casual attire of the staff makes you feel instantly at home. The communal bar which can be entered via the street or hotel works well for both guests and passers-by and created a vibrant and buzzing atmosphere. The choice of drinks is varied and well stocked, particularly the range of Vodkas and Scotch's. The hotel has a real eclectic feel about it, so if you are not that sort of character stay clear, but it is your loss. Superb hotel, superb location, superb staff, superb facilities. Location, location, location, and that roof top bar!
Rooms are too small for the price paid
The friendly relaxed feeling of the hotel and the standard of the service received
No pool facilities
We loved the location in Manhattan.
The staff was not very friendly. Phone service in the room stopped working the 2nd day. If you want ice you must order it. The housekeeping staff never equipped our room per our wishes. The rooms are extremely small. And the perfume smell throughout the hotel was horrible and overpowering. We spent as little time as possible in our room.
Great area Beautiful view Nice style Gorgeous bathroom
Fluorescent lighting in rooms Lack of closet space Magnifying mirror too high/unusable
Loved the beds, the lobby and the service.
The air freshener in the lobby smelled like deodorant. The food at the restaurant next door should have been better at dinner time. It was average.
Great location and also helpful personnel. Roof top bar is excellent
No gym at the moment. Need to go outside. Prices for breakfast extraordinarily high
The service is terrible...
The excellent location, the professionality and kindness of the staff, in particular at reception and concierge.
Each day the room wasn't made up completely, i.e. coffee cups not washed, complimentary water not present, no glasses, no footrest in the bathroom.
All was better than expected. Not for families with children.
The location was great. Close to shopping on 5th ave and only a short two blocks from Central Park. Close enough to walk to most broadway theaters. Subway stops are super close. The roof top bar area was nice but probably packed on weekends. We were there Sunday to Wed. so it wasn't too bad.
Honesty the only negative was the restaurant on the main street level. It was very over priced for a mediocre breakfast. I would chose next time to eat somewhere else.
Most comfortable bed we ever slept in with excellent and obliging housekeeping staff
The only thing that let this hotel down was the lack of storage
Great locations right next to 2 subway stations. Trendy design. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Fantastic view from The Roof rooftop bar
Minimal space in bathroom to put belongings. Poor lighting
Small storage could be upgraded one wardrobe not even a meter wide is not enough!
