The staff at the valet stand was excellent.

Late in checking us in Attitude of staff was unfriendly Slow service for food and pool side Poor poolside staff was understaffed and very slow. Poolside accommodations were pour and help was nit to be found. Room was very small and noisy.

Rated comfort and value for money low bc we felt room was overpriced especially since the tub was peeling and we have had better more luxurious rooms/bathrooms for less money. Property though and amenities were nice.

Quality of bathroom is horrible.

Good value for money and very well located for shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly particularly the Valet car parkers who were full of advice and useful tips.

Room was a bit small for a family and storage space limited. Pool area also small and difficult to find a place to sit or sunbathe.

Hotel and grounds, overall, are gorgeous. Well maintained and great location, right downtown.

Requested a specific style room ( as I had stayed here previously), and even though the request was noted on the file, and the room was booked 5 months in advance, was given a motel style room. It was only after complaining to a manager, and a good wait, that we were moved the next day to the promised and requested room.

The staff was awesome... Paul at Citron, Don in guest services and David the valet went above and beyond for us. He not only parked our car, he brought our bags to our room, got us ice and gave us a tour of the grounds. We mentioned we wanted to return and bring our Daughter and Son in Law. David then gave us a tour of one of the 2 bedroom bungalows (it was unoccupied). John the bartender was a great guy as well and makes a killer Cosmo. This was our first time at the viceroy. We plan on being regulars.

What a great stay! The bed linen's were fantastic. Loved the three pools and lounge chairs. The service at the pool was super convenient (we ate both breakfast and lunch poolside). The vibe is super chill and the grounds are beautiful. This hotel is also so close to the main drag, we probably didn't even need a car. Valet was super prompt and the hotel staff were extremely prompt. Any request was filled immediately. Loved our relaxing girls weekend at this hotel!

The bar/wait staff were excellent and the breakfast was very good as well. We also took advantage of borrowing bikes each day to ride around town.

The front desk/check in is need of better communication skills to inform guests of the property and the services. Additionally, the spa services and their pricing were out of touch with reality in terms of their pricing.

The quality of the food and the service in the restaurant was lousy compared to a year earlier, particularly breakfast. If you don't book a higher end room, the experience is greatly reduced.

Close to dinner options

Place was old, felt uncomfortable on the situations with people st the pools...price was too high for the value received .

Noisy ax

Perfect for a "romantic getaway". As far as I could tell, peaceful and chill vibe. Staff was friendly. Everything was perfect, so didn't have to interact with them much but when we did they were very accommodating. Pools are kinda small, but the resort wasn't crowded so it was perfect. Lounge chairs are clean and comfy. Clean towels and icy drinking water at each pool. Love the understated glam decor of Viceroy. Great location in Palm Springs, just a block away from the "main drag" as my man called it. We walked to restaurants/shops most of the time.

Beautiful hotel, very romantic. The design of the hotel makes it feel quite intimate.

This was an absolutely beautiful hotel. Gorgeous accommodations, lovely staff and four-star service. I love that the pools were open 24 hours; made for a dreamy after-hours dip in the 100+ heat. Our valet, Fabian, was wonderful!

It was a very intimate boutique hotel. People seemed very comfortable starting conversations with each other around the pool...even ordering drinks together to celebrate the birthday of one of the guests. It was very relaxing.

The only negative thing would be the price of the cocktails. Very expensive and did not seem to have much alcohol in the mixed drinks. Also they had happy hour pricing for the drinks inside the main hotel but not out by the pool.....some people were buying drinks inside and bringing them out to the pool area.

I do think you should add at breakfast time, as well as coffee and tea would be a few breakfast items...cold cereal , juice, and muffins or bagels, as well as a few fruit items..these are inexpensive items and make such a difference, Other location ( similar to viceroy ). And similar price, do and have provided these items when we have had the occasion to visit Palm Springs,and Santa Barbara we will visit Palm Springs again, however the small breakfast addition I mention here would be what will be factors on my decision on a choice of a place to stay..

Very helpful staff, great location, valet parking and bike free rental included in room cost

Some confusion about payment for stay. Was charged a week before arrival. Got that resolved. Now charge on credit card is over correct amount by $500. Called hotel, said they would correct that in a few days. Not sure why either problem occurred.

We really liked the hotel, since it's not crowded and there is a separate family pool, so it's really great to relax if you want some quiet time.

The only downside of the hotel I would complain about is the bathtub in the hotel room, which looks like from the 70s with cracks and chips. Not really inviting.

The grounds between the buildings are very nice, so if you plan to lounge around the pool most of your stay, it's perfect.

The standard rooms are too run down and need to be refreshed, at least a little paint. Both our rooms therefore didn't feel very clean. Sound insulation is very poor.
