The Inn on Bellevue, in Newport, Rhode Island, is within walking distance of the Touro Synagogue and is within the synagogue's Eruv. Shopping and dining are in the downtown waterfront area.

Lovely Inn with lovely caretakers. They really try hard to please. Location is excellent and close to mansions. Highly recommend staying here.
Very nice house, helpful staff, good breakfast.
Location was OK but could have been a bit closer to the centre of town
The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The room was beautifully appointed and had everything you could think of to meet your needs. The breakfast featured a great spread and hot breakfast items. Great place, warm and very comfortable. Within walking distance to everything. We loved it!
Flexible cooked to order breakfast was just right. Easy walk to town or Cliff Walk.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Delicious breakfast and lovely gardens. Our room was lovely and we really enjoyed our breakfast in the garden. Definitely would return.
Style, Friendliness, Cleanliness, use of lounge.
Lack of clarity about phone use, lack of options offered for breakfast.
Our stay at the Inn was wonderful as we're the hosts. The room was nice decorated, very clean and comfortable. We had a terrific breakfast and homemade baked goods that were delicious. I highly recommend the VLI for a great stay in Newport.
Not a thing.
The breakfast wafels with fresh fruits Contact to other guests Friendly and helpfull staff Good location for getting around in Newport
The window Mount aircon was very noicy You need to like the old fasion and very familiar way
Breakfast was good and staff was friendly
Rooms were small and needed some painting. If one is custom to a larger hotel chain with a fancy lobby and lots of amenities in your room then you are not going to have this in a bed and breakfast . If you want a cozy room with older furniture, then you will enjoy your stay. We missed the central air and heating instead we got a window air conditioner and the room smelled musty with a lot of humity. Quaint place, but missed the modern features.
Comfort, simple luxury, the Victorian, great room and bath, outstanding customer service, delicious breakfast, location (quiet neighborhood walkable to hype), parking, gardens.
I would like to thank the staff for their warm hospitality and their welcome. Also would like to say thank you to Cindy for her being so kind during our stay. This was our first B&B for my wife and I, and we loved every moment of it. We are looking forward to staying there again soon. Thank you all for making our weekend enjoyable. Derek & Dalia
The property was just as per the photos on Booking.com. Great location just near Belleview Avenue. Comfortable, spacious room. Delicious breakfast (eventually - see my 'didn't like' comment!) but painfully slow service more than once means I can't recommend the property.
Breakfast swiftly served by the sole staff member on day one. On days two and three there were three people on duty and yet poached eggs took 20 minutes to arrive on both occasions and two of the staff seemed to be doing very little useful work! We ended up having wasted over an hour on breakfast before we could head out site-seeing. I don't expect or want a rushed, business-style, grab-it-and-go breakfast, but with three staff and only about 12 guests even I could produce cooked breakfasts faster than this. Not good enough considering the otherwise excellent reviews for this property so I can't recommend it.
Hotel is quaint with pretty garden and Victorian decor. We liked being able to park the car and walk the short distance into town.
Great location and service. Both innkeepers were cordial
Staff was wonderfully friendly. Breakfast of porched eggs and crab cake was just excellent. Tea time, cookies, and crumb cake made the afternoon.
Window shutters don't work and room was very bright the minute the sun came up which was tough for west coast guest. Rooms were small and stuffy but opening the window resulted in echoes of street noise. The toilet seat would not stay up in the Caroline room bathroom.
The personal attention. They gave out Mother's Day corsages. They had a special breakfast. By far one of the best b&b's ever. The owner Harry and niece Cindy are the kindest people.
We loved it and are staying again in a few months! The Innkeepers were very friendly, our room was lovely, breakfast was wonderful. The place was very clean, we stayed in the Edward Room which is in the Annandale house and is very tucked away/quiet. You are a very short (few blocks) walk from the start of the cliff walk. Thames St where all the shops are is about a mile I think so a bit further. Depends on what you want to do/see the most whether this is the right location and how mobile you are. Oh close by Empire Tea and Coffee just opened their new location a few blocks away, make sure you stop there! Back to the inn - everywhere in Newport is expensive and I play close attention to location, type of breakfast, etc and this is still one of the better deals for the $ in Newport.
breakfast was great and the room and everything was very clean and comfortable. the staff was friendly and very helpful.
We loved our stay at the Victorian Ladies Inn. It was perfect for a get away weekend as a couple. The Inn is in a prime location, was very quiet, and the breakfast was delicious! We will be staying again!
There is nothing I didn't like.
The location was near all the activities in the area. Parking was on site. The room was very clean and had everything one would need. The innkeeper was very helpful and the homemade cookies and tea were delightful. I would surely stay there again and recommend this place.
Everything was perfect!
Breakfast, room, location
Clean and breakfast was good.
Traffic noise-main street
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were very welcoming. The room was cozy. The breakfast was excellent.
I didn't like the fact that upon arrival, the owners had no record of our reservation through book.com. Fortunately they had a room available. I would have second thoughts on booking through your site in the future.
I loved the breakfast and the care of the room and inn/house. Everything was charming and well-kept, and just had an air about it that made it very easy to relax and settle in.
