Living in the heart of Harlem was a great experience. Warm, friendly people, diverse culture. The owners of the establishment are passionate about their neighbourhood and genuinely care about the guests experience there. Will be back

Peggy and Lloyd shared their B & B to tourist with open arms. They were gracious, hospitable and exceptionally friendly. The location was great, with Metro nearby and its many restaurants. We enjoyed a fantastic meal at Chez Lucienne, only a few blocks away. We would definitely recommend this place and go back ourselves. Thank you Peggy and Lloyd!

Peggy and Lloyd were the most wonderful hosts that one could wish for in a foreign city. Villa was cosy, clean and a home away from home for the both of us. The neighbourhood was great, outside the hustle and bustle, but Villa 121 was close to the subway making the downtown easily accessible. Excellent bars and great soul food locally, just ask Peggy and Lloyd for their local recommendations, guaranteed good night.

Gorgeous place! A typical New York brownstone house located in a quiet part of Harlem. Even its street is beautiful. Rooms and bathrooms are beautiful, the stairs, the hallways, the furnitures, it's a really trip in a new yorker house. Unique! The owners, Peggy and Lloyd are living on the premices and very helpful, smiling and welcoming. Lovely people!!! I loved the place!!! It was perfect!!!! Bathroom and restrooms are shared with the other customers.

Villa 121 was beyond our expectations. It's an old brownstone, located in a beautiful street full of trees. In the area there are very nice restaurants and it feels very safe. The host Peggy is very sweet and efficient. Highly reconmended.

L'accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires. La beauté authentique des lieux. La grandeur des chambres. La décoration exceptionnelle des chambres et de la maison. La grande propreté du lieu. Le manque d'isolation d'une chambre à l’autre mais c'est normal car il s'agit d'une ancienne demeure.

Es una casa muy acogedora y sus dueños son demasiado amables. Las habitaciones son muy limpias y cómodas. Es un lugar perfecto para viajar en familia pues es grande y espacioso. Me encanto conocer la casa, el barrio y a los dueños. Volvería a quedarme allá la próxima vez que vaya a nyc. Es un poco lejos de la estación del metro (3 cuadras). Aunque no 3w tan grave, cuando esta de regreso, cansado y con frío es agotador caminar.

zwei nette gastgeber. sehr schöner ausgangspunkt für stadttouren. sehr verkehrsgünstig. wer einmal auf den "5*-luxus" verzichten will und den charme vergangener jahre erleben will, dem kann ich dieses haus nur empfehlen.

L'accueil, la gentillesse des propriétaires. La décoration de la chambre et le cadre typique du quartier. La situation par rapport au centre est intéressante, avec malgré tout une tranquilité appréciable.

Authenticité de cette belle de maison New Yorkaise, bien meublée , beaucoup de charme , calme tout près d'un café français le Cedric Café ou on y mange très bien et d'un café Noté ou nous prenions notre petit dej avec les gens du coin . A recommander aux personnes qui préfère l'originalité .... Certaines chambres n'ont pas la SdB dans la chambre il faut traverser le couloir .

The rooms were nice and spacious with high ceilings and period furniture. The owners were helpful and the rapid subway ride to midtown or downtown was handy. Nice sandwiches could be picked from the deli across Lenox Avenue and the cafe one block down was nice. The bed was quite hard and be aware that the top rooms are three flights of stairs up. Wifi does not work on top floor.
