Location there isn't much in san rafael.
Clean, comfortable and quiet property. Nice variety at continental breakfast. Good value for the room price!
This hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet and the staff accommodated putting me in a room next to my friend with a great attitude. The coffee in the a.m. was good.
The tub filled up while showering. The continental breakfast choices weren't very healthy.
older facility with slight musty smell
Location, value, excellent staff
Noise..the bathroom fan or (was it heater?) of nearby rooms was heard through the walls all night. If it had been quieter, we would book again.
The area close to bus
Not enough shampoo and soap
Nice spacious room. Bathroom could use paint. Friendly employees. Super handy to freeway. Had coffee maker but no cups, etc. Continental breakfast helpful.
The breakfast was the best then any hotel in marin county
They dont have up to date TVs and not enough shampoo and check out is 11 i like when check out is at 12 noon
Very strong fumes from cleaning chemicals used in room.
Bathroom was borderline disgusting and the room smelled musty/smoky
Very clean and comfortable. Friendly personnel. Good price for the area
Location worked out fine. Compared with other properties it was cheap. Did not have my reservation but able to accomodate
Carpet was badly stained and worn. Room had funky smell. Bed ok. Shower doors stuck. Needs updating badly
Location was good, a quick drive to San Francisco, the ferry, or restaurants, without all the traffic. Everyone friendly.
No coffee in rooms, but they do provide a continental breakfast with coffee. I need coffee to wake up before breakfast, so this was a little inconvenient.
Lots of rooms so you can usually find a room last minute. And it's clean comfortable and safe.
Costs to much per night for what looks like a motel 6 from the 70s.
Pet friendly and the lady who serves the breakfast is fabulous.
Rooms are not kept clean and the rug looks like it is 30 years old. The entire facility needs updating and better cleaning staff.
We just stayed for one night on NYE. The location was less than a mile from downtown and the staff was super nice. The rooms, themselves aren't great, but for the price, totally worth it. There's a great continental breakfast run by an nice lady, too. The only negative is that the walls are fairly thin and we could hear another room partying the entire night. It WAS new years, so we'll give it a by. I'd def stag again for a one nighter. Oh and parking is a snap too and guarded from the main road.
Thin walls. Had to go to front desk to get an iron. No coffee in room.
Nothing felt clean. The bathroom light was yellowed so much that the toilet appeared scummy. The toilet itself also had issues; leaning forward brought the back of the toilet off the wall and would crash against the wall when standing back up. The shower filled with 2-3 inches of water and its walls were caked with soap residue; not to mention it was barely 2ft by 2ft.
Location Friendly Staff
Wished the breakfast buffet had more options
i liked the continental breakfast and Mimi was a joy to talk with. there seemed to be a diverse group of people (as in from other countries) that were staying there that i found interesting.
Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.
Excellent staff and friendly breakfast hostess,
Room was drafty and marginally clean
Location and price
1) No cup in the room for water or coffee. No phone either, so I had to go to the office to get one. 2)The continental breakfast was mostly sugary stuff and opened late. 3) Noise from adjoining room. Their squeaky bedsprings woke me up at 4 and 6 am.
Quaint and cozy.
It is an older place and a little musty, but not bad at all.
The room was very roomy and comfortable and was very cheap!
The only complaint I had were the spiders (dead) that were in the bathtub and ceiling corners.
