Wi-Fi and Price.
Lots of noise well past 1:30 AM. Both upstairs and outside. There was a bar right across from us. Several outlets did not work. It appeared there were loose wires in the outlets. Lights were unplugged most likely because the outlets didn't work. Big fire hazard.
Bed very uncomfortable and very noisy. Towels ruff and stiff. Soap bars strange. Not the quality expected.
Fix rm 233 door lock.
Nice looking from the outside.
Furnishings were old and flimsy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Blankets were old and thin. Staff was not very personable. Would not stay there again.
Easy to find rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was good
Needed a fan got to warm at night.a/c would only stay on couple minutes at a time.
The property was beautifully landscaped and the staff was very helpful and friendly even when they were very busy. Price was very reasonable. Room was very clean,
The carpet in the room.
Comfortable bed :) Super water pressure Nice shower Great cafe next door
The room was not very clean.
We had a very good breakfast in the adjoining restaurant. I'm guessing it's under completely independent management.
The room. Supposedly a nonsmoking room, the place reeked of tobacco smoke with cigarette burns on the toilet seat, vanity and furniture. Bedspreads way out of date and dirty. Bedding was soiled, stained. Cigarette butts all over the parking and entry areas. Bathtub badly rust-stained. The overall look was "flop house."
Reasonable size room/bathroom. Stuff in the room worked as expected.
Dirty coffee pot (could not use!....Yuk!). Continental Breakfast was a joke! It's no use charging for a room with breakfast (served until 10:00am) and then ignoring that just about "Everything" has run out for guests wanting to eat breakfast at 9:30am! Offering a 10% discount of the affiliated restaurant next door added insult to injury. Won't be staying again, just not good enough for the money charged.
Wi-fi worked okay.
Air conditioning never got the room below 80 It smelled like a deodorized smoking room Beds were rock hard and not enough pillows Ice machine was at the otter end of facility Continental breakfast not very good. 10% off at the restaurant which was only open limited hours.
The Motel was 2 miles from Eugene, so we could get to town pretty quickly.
We were there on a very hot day, our room got afternoon exposure so we had to hit the air conditioner. It kept running, but it never really got cool. I didn't find out why until the next morning. The air conditioning unit is on the back wall but it's not connected to the duct work leading to the front. Odd
I thought the staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful!
I thought that the actual hotel rooms were a little on the old side. The walls in the bathroom looked like they hadn't been scrubbed in years and the beds were so hard and uncomfortable. That being said we stayed there knowing it was on the older side and we would stay again.
The staff very helpful. Beds comfortable and room clean. The Breakfast had nice choices. Easy Access to our room from parking was nearby for old folks. Pleasant attitude by all employees. We would stay there again.
Older building so it had an slight odor. But comfortable and quiet room. All the room accomodations you would need. Fridge, microwave, hair dryer, large tv and best of all Air conditioning. Could give some more options on breakfast. Swimming pool actually warm too. Hot tub was hot but not much movement.
The location and the price for the room. It was a last minute reservation, but we found the Village Inn satisfied all of the needs for the group. Having a restaurant on the premise.
The hours the hot tub was available (it closed at 9 pm) was not convenient. The plumbing in the bathroom had a distinct odor. The restaurant closed too early for a Sat night.
The room was lovely and modern and there was a lovely view of trees. Very quiet.
Ive always said "you get what you pay for" but this does not apply to The Village Inn. It is surprisingly comfortable and spacious with great hwy. Access without the loud noise of a hwy. The staff is really amazing as well. The manager is super nice and curtious. The price was super low and allowed me to put money into extra activities.
The rooms could be stocked a bit better with coffee and towels but other than that I am very happy.
We were able to secure the room that we usually stay in. easy check in excellent rate only a few minutes to cinemas at gateway mall
Run down--needs updating b-fast bare minimum no ice on top floor bed not as comfortable as we remember.
Nice continental breakfast. Room was quiet.
Mattresses were quite hard and noisy - sounded like there was straw in them whenever turning over. Was awake all night due to mattress. Room 103.
Room was clean, easy access.
Bed was very noisy, heat lamp in bathroom inoperative.
I liked that I could reserve without putting in my credit information and had up to 24 yrs to cancel. It saved time when I booked the room. Both receptionists were very friendly and gave a 10 % off coupon for the restaurant there. I also looked that it had a small fridge and micro in the room which we didn't need this time but had need for one many other times.
My hubby didnt like short shower head because he is tall but there was plenty of hot water.
I appreciated the friendly cleaning crew. They were the nicest ones working there.
Our room had a clogged sink, the shower sprayed water everywhere when you turned on the handle and the room smelled horribly of smoke despite the non-smoking room signs. The front desk staff were not hospitable.
QUIET, COMFORTABLE BED, NO SMOKING ODOR IN ROOM.GOOD VALUE FOR THE COST. FRIENDLY STAFF.
UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIR AT TABLE, SOME STAINS ON BATHROOM WALL BEHIND DOOR.
