The unit was generally comfortable, but small
Everything about the unit was noisy. Doors in the hallway, voices in the hallway, refrigerater, AC unit, plumbing. In a word, it was noisy.
Location and front desk service was excellent including the shuttle service which we appreciated tremendously after long days of hiking and sightseeing. Condo was clean and mid week service was a bonus.
We we very content with everything.
we really enjoyed having the extra space
traffic noise kind of unpleasant . the senior guest agent personality seemed somewhat stern - kind of like the traffic noise .
loved the van shuttle service.
one bedroom kitchen is pretty small and unworkable.
The location couldn't have been better for pedestrian access to the community convention center.
Perhaps this is a criticism of booking.com, but we did not appreciate the fact that we had additional charges of over $30 for "resort fees" at checkout. The price advertised by booking.com should be all inclusive.
Wonderful facilities! Close to plaza without being in it.
Room was great. Great location.
10:00am checkout is a bit early. We did not get out till 11:00am. The staff was kind about it .
These units were a perfect place to set up for a week in Santa Fe. They provided all you needed to feel like you had your own apt. in the middle of the city, in walking distance to so much. I walked an easy ten minutes to the market and drug store to have basics in the kitchen to make meals when I wasn't out enjoying the terrific restaurants. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking and meal supplies. I could walk to the Plaza and galleries, and if I needed to go some place too far to walk, the staff had someone to take you there in the Villas shuttle van. The pool was clean and warm, and my end unit was quiet and peaceful. If I needed any replenished towels or unit supplies, the front desk had things delivered promptly. I didn't mind not having daily maid service - I can make my own bed and wipe down the sinks. It was nice to feel that my space was kept private.
I love coffee, but the coffee bar and rooms only had pink generic saccharine - the most proven carcinogenic of no-cal sweeteners. I would like it if they had more sweetener choices and a selection of flavored creamers since the coffee/tea bar is the only free item they provide.
One of the young ladies running the shuttle was very sweet and helpful.
We called the property and were assured we had an upper floor, balcony, fireplace, deluxe suit. When we arrived...we were "assigned" a 1st floor room, no balcony. The room was handicap accessible. It did not meet our needs but were told that is all they had, and we should be grateful, as most people booked a year ahead. The living room had a couch, but no chair. The bathroom was not private, no door. The bath tub and sink did not drain and made a constant popping noise. The bed had one mattress four inches off the floor and was hard and uncomfortable. The room with its low ceiling and parking lot view, chipped furniture, felt like a poorly managed 1 star dump. We watched as Seniors filled this floor, all were unhappy with the facilities. Pool was sad looking. We talked to a few and they had the same problems with beds and no place to sit. One senior couple booked for a week, but left early because our discomfort fell on deaf ears. We tried several times to resolve the issues, but were told the owners were happy when they stayed, so therefore we should be too. We rented another room for our family, and we were separated. We felt like we had no rights and no options. The manager and front staff were united with their mantra, Suck it up.
Staff was great
The location was great! The staff was helpful and the facility was so clean and quiet! It was easy to walk down town and easy to access roads to nearby attractions. We would recommend' Villas de Santa Fe!
We had a one bedroom apartment with two queen beds. The apartment was very comfortable and very well equipped. The gym and pool were good and tea/coffee was available in the lovely furnished reception area. Staff were very good. It was about 10 mins wLk from the old town.
I liked the amenities in the rooms, the exercise room, the espresso bar, the pool, that it was relatively close to downtown. Very comfortable!!
It was not as close to downtown as we had hoped. Our room had a broken window so I made sure I contacted the front desk that the window was already in this condition so we would not be blamed or charged for it. They knew it was broken, but it just made me worried.
Location, location, location. Helpfulness of staff. Shuttle to plaza area.
The room was very comfortable! Ricardo was fantastic!
The 10am check out time was too early for us. When we asked for a later check out time we were denied. It makes it hard when traveling. Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to stay here again.
Alarm was preset set to wake at 3:00 am
Poor or nonexistent wifi service.
How clean the rooms were and how friendly the staff was.
My only complaint is how loud the doors are when they shut. It wakes you up, if you're sleeping in the living room.
I like the amenities and layout of the room and the fully appointed kitchen. The staff was very attentive and helpful.
Very comfortable and clean and a good value with Booking discount.
The suite was spacious and clean, with a surprisingly functional kitchen.
It was noisy, with the parking lot just outside the window, and also being right next to a main entry. The choice of sodas in the machines was dismal--nithing at all sugar free except colas, and the supply of squirt (or something similar) was gone. Then when I went to the main building for the cocoa I was told you have, that was gone too! All in all, pretty substandard for a place that's supposed to be so good. And I bet you don't put this in the quotes online.
Had to request towels everyday we were there
The condo was spotless and very nicely appointed. It was very comfortable. Close to shopping and the Plaza. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The shuttle, which we used often, was a real plus. You could walk to the Plaza but it was a long walk for us. Would definitely stay there again.
Staff was the best ever! The staff would shuttle you to places you wanted to go each day & pick you up at the end of day. Not enough room here to explain all the nice things to staff did for us but they were the best. Also their is a "GREAT" little French pastry shop within walking distance for breakfast.
Snow in mid May.
