Very nice boutique hotel.
The TVs in the rooms are very old and the cable doesn't get many channels.
A nice chilled out set of challets. Relaxing garden area and small pool.
No plates or cutlery.
Location was good. Easy to get to Sonoma and Napa. Was clean.
The motel is on a very dangerous corner. You have traffic coming around a blind corner at 50 mph as you are pulling out of the parking lot. There should be a warning sign. We seriously almost got hit by a car the first few times we left the motel. Very old rooms, clean but old. I felt they were very overpriced for the amenities that the hotel has to offer. Bathrooms were very old, shower was from the 1960's. Would not recommend for this reason.
Very helpful staff.
This is not a hotel as stated. It is a motel. It is located right on the corner of a very busy intersection.
Simplicity of accommodations. Great rates for what you need. No frills...but will work for an overnight stay. If all you need is a room, shower and a place to crash in the wine country for less than a months salary per night...great pick here!
Met expectations. Location can be a bit noisy, next to highway but after 9pm it dies down.
The breakfast and the garden area at the back of the hotel.
The hotel needs renovating. No shelf space in bathroom. Outlets were on an extension cord. Blinds didn't work on front windows. Noise from road very nearby to hotel. TV very old with only 6 channels. The AC unit was very loud.
The little common area and the breakfast.
The shower. Needs updating
the owners and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. the grounds were very comfortable.
Hwy noise and walk ability was a detractor.
Animals and fire bowl
The concierge was most understanding when we were forced to make last -minute changes and did not take any additional charge that the hotel was entitled too.
A little expensive for the facilities provided.
The price was right - for the time we went (May) there was nothing in that price range.
Tiny rooms and if you get locked out of your room, you're out of luck as nobody answers the messages. The rooms also seemed damp and the bedding was not that great, lumpy bed and flat pillows. TV was fuzzy and tiny.
Staff was friendly at buffet breakfast. Appreciate the availability. Must have been nice in the 40's. The communal refrigerator was better than none.
Loud, next to road. Very few channels on old tv. Bed was a double and not comfortable. Room was tiny but clean.
Pool was great (although needed a clean) and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing!
Bed linen is old and worn, needs to be updated. Location is on a noisy, busy intersection. This place is fine but overpriced for what you get.
The staff at Vineyard Inn were some of the nicest, sweetest people you would ever want to meet. We were introduced to the resident alpacas, goats, and geese on the property and were treated like visiting royalty. I can't say enough good things about the warm welcome and friendliness we experienced.
The property is situated on the intersection of 2 major highways, so there was a great deal of noise from traffic. The rooms were small and modest...not a problem, but the price for the room was not modest. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was lovely (we stayed in the upgrade room). Wifi was so slow we ended up not using it.
The hotel is very old. Very poor lighting, the rooms were very cold and there was only a free standing heater that barely worked. No coffee maker, the towels felt like sand paper and were very small, the kitchenish area had nothing to use. I spent $680 for two nights and it was not worth it.
Staff was very nice.
Very old needs to be upgraded. Overpriced for the quality of the room.
They upgraded us without us asking to a nicer room than Bookings.com reserved for us. The motel is out in the country, butclose enough to town to be convenient.
Egress from motel is dangerous.
Bed was extremely hard - the floor would have been more comfortable Black mold in shower This is a single story motel. The sill was so warped the window would not lock. The blinds were also missing from our window. Killed a moth, a spider and three flies in the room. Areas of the walls had been repaired and not painted at all or with a different color paint. They brag about the continental breakfast which consisted of Costco muffins, fruit and raisin bread. This was the most miserable hotel we have experienced in 20 years. Motel 6 is better.
We liked the rooms and the grounds. Beautiful gardens. Continental breakfast was also good.
The bathroom was small. Also, the hotel is located right on the intersection of two highways, so it was noisy.
We booked late for an October visit to Sonoma, and all that was available for the 2 nights we needed was the Vineyard Inn. It is an old place and the highway noise is pretty bad. The room was a little musty, but clean. It was good enough for what we needed but we'll book way ahead next time.
1.Highway noise. 2.Felt like $200 per night was high. 3.If you really want to enjoy Sonoma(town, tasting, drinking, etc) and not have to drive, this place is out of the way. Try to get a room in town instead. 4.We were told there would be a comp breakfast at 8am Friday morning, but no one was there.
Repaint the hotel, more cleaning inside rooms, prepare lunch and dinner for guests
The cost is a little bit high, there is no restaurant.
the man at the desk. Very nice, very helpful.
Very cramped, very small shower, dirty feel to the place.
That it was available when nothing else was
Cost per night - $179 for weekday, $199 for Friday seemed a little high for the area (junction of two highways), noise, shower head sprayed water like a sand blaster, bathroom seemed a little musty (sits about 2' below grade).
The Vineyard is really a lovely place, I would like use the "fantabulous!" to express. I even don't want to leave. I experienced a unforgettable and very memorable journey. Everything here is sweet, especially the people here they all very very nice, goodness and warm. They give me a loooooooot of help, they know where is the real wine and good wineries. The room is very beautiful, lovely and completely clean! They have a beautiful swimming pool and a charming yard, every night they make a campfire in yard and most tourists like to take a sit around and have a chat. We have share the food here with 2 friends whom came from Germany, and after a interesting talking, they invited us travel to Germany and we can live their home. In addition, the location here is also huge convenient, between the Sonoma and Napa, it takes 3- 5min to get Sonoma downtown, and take 15-20min to get Napa downtown Yountville. Overall, I really like here, it feels like a home, Definitely I'll back again! I strongly recommend vineyard!
Totally no! Everything smoothing.
Charming and clean.
