The Staff and Complementary Wine Hour
loved the decor and smaller intimate feel.Perfect for couples.
Only complaint would be that the shower water did not get hot in our room. We both like hot showers and got only warm at best.
Location of hotel and that it was a refurbished older hotel. The staff was great.
Facility was perfectly located and without flaws.
I was very put off by the $39 charge for parking. To me that was not about just the comparatively high fee, especially since I could have parked directly across the street for $12. But in addition it took almost 20 minutes to get our car when it was time to leave. And besides, charging for parking at all was clearly a moment of gratuitous, opportunistic revenue streaming. I was very put off by it.
I was fortunate to spend six nights in room 708 at this amazing hotel. The staff at Hotel Vintage were absolutely wonderful from start to finish, the room was faultless and the facilities impeccable. I have to admit, I'm not a wine person - instead I'm one of those beer people - so the wine theme wasn't the main draw for my stay. If you are a wine buff, then I have to mention that they have very tastefully decorated every inch of the hotel carefully without overstepping the mark into tackiness. Each room is named after a vineyard, and some of the art (such as that over the headboard of my bed) is even made from something wine related, such as old corks. Several evenings I bumped into a regular wine tasting session in the lobby, which starts around 5pm, and there is a strong emphasis on the discovery of new wines and local vineyards which I can certainly appreciate. If you are not a wine buff, such as myself, then don't stress - this will not impact your visit at all. Are you a pet person instead? This hotel is super pet friendly, and I met quite a few friendly dogs and their owners downstairs, but again if you're not a pet person I can tell you I never bumped into a single pooch in the hallway and never heard or smelled anything such that I was always surprised to see an animal in the elevator. It has been a long time since I've been in a hotel where the room was so comfortable that I don't have a single gripe - the air conditioner was barely noticeable (a rarity in itself), in fact barely a single noise from the hallway or the street, and despite the windows being sealed shut the air quality within the room was great. Combined with the comfortable bed, I slept well, which is important when you're in town on business. With all of this, everything around down town is readily accessible by foot. If you're coming from the airport, you can even take the Central Link light rail from the airport to University.
Location was central Good breakfast at the restaurant
Room was small - if the coffee machine was kept on table there was no space to work Small bathroom Not enough space in the lobby during wine hour
Great Staff and comfortable ambiance.
Nothing bad, rates seemed high, could be due to the particular weekend.
Good location, friendly staff, nice room with a good layout, quiet.
Parking was $39 for one night! Fitness room was a mess, looked like it was never cleaned.
The valets at night and in the morning were extremely helpful and courteous.
Very little hot water for my shower. Water pressure was very low. A lot of noise in the hallway in the morning.
close to venues and the Ferry - walking distance for me. Morning coffee and evening wine receptions.
It was perfect for walking to sporting events, Pioneer Square or to Capitol Hill. We were treated well for our 15 yr anniversary with champagne upon arrival and room upgrade.
Large room with great décor, and a very comfortable bed. The location was outstanding, within walking distance of everything in the downtown area. The staff was very accommodating. Loved the wine reception in the afternoon. I would definitely stay here again.
Nothing negative to say.
The room was large and well appointed, mini bar was limited but ok. I would have like some tea or coffee making facilities esp since overnight room service was beyond slow Go to the restaurant for dinner, dined twice some of the best meals I had in Seattle
Housekeeping needed a kick up the b.. I pulled covers up twice and both times the tidied the bed but didn't remake. Sheets internally were so bad I had to remake bed before sleeping Over night room service took 65 min to deliver me a pot of Tea and warm brownie dessert... Forgot the milk another long wait before that was arranged as well. In room breakfast also woke me twice, before wake up call once to tell me rudely that food was in hallway second to check my order. These two department let down what is a totally delightful hotel.
The staff was incredible, and the accommodations were comfortable and stylish. Great location for walking around and seeing the city.
The hotel including our room was very clean and decorated nicely. It was so quiet, I didn't hear the AC running! Staff was helpful from the time we pulled up our car to waving goodbye as we left. It was walking distance to major downtown attractions. The small walks gave us a chance to get to know Seattle! Tulio is excellent!
My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Vintage on our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. Upon check-in, the front desk staff asked us the purpose of our stay and then upgraded us to a huge suite on the top floor complete with champagne and chocolate truffles. The bed was very comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly and the location downtown walking distance from tons of restaurants, bars and activities was perfect. Hotel Vintage will always hold a special place in our hearts and we hope to stay here when we come to Seattle again!
The restaurant was superb. The food was great. The staff dealing with getting taxi's and help with the bags were very friendly and helpful.
1. Very small room located next to service elevator. Was very noisy and did not provide good sleep. 2. Only two chairs with no table to set drinks on. Had to place food on lap or eat on the bed. 3. No coffee maker in room. 4. Only two drawers to place items that would not hang in the closet. 5. TV remote never worked properly. Volume was controlled . Don't know who we would have disturbed since room was next to service elevator. 6. Bar costs were outrageous. Five dollars for a bottle of water. Really? 7. Bathroom very small. No room to place each of our items. Had to place them back in the luggage at each usage. 8. No room to place things out. Had to take the ironing board out and use it as a table. 9. We were on the 4th floor yet the view from our window gave us a spectacular site of a cement wall and alley. 10 Room lighting was poor. Only one standing lamp by the lone chair. 11. The closet was very small. Good thing we brought extra hangers. The bags had to be place inside the closet for there was no floor space to lay them if you wanted to move about the room. 12. Only two drawers to place clothes in. 13. Having a false fire alarm occur did not enhance our stay as we tried to use the elevator and did not hear any announcement of evacuation! This room would have been perfect for a lone traveler, not a couple. And the sad thing is that we booked this room well in advance of arriving. Can't believe that was the only room available to us. It should not be a room to rent out. Needs to be used as a storage closet.
Hotel staff were very kind and we slept like babies in the comfortable beds!!
Would've liked a coffee maker in our room.
The complimentary wine hour and coffee was a nice bonus.
Parking should be included with your room rate.
The bathroom was so small the door nearly hit the toilet. No tea making facility at all.All to small for us.
Location, location, location.
It seems like the decor is a bit out-dated. It had a closed-in effect.
This was such a great hotel. Perfect location, staff was amazing, hula hoops in the gym, free wine down happy hour daily....I loved this place!
Gym is sort of small but hula hoops make up for it!
Location, hotel's restaurant ,lobby
We asked for early check in but did not happen
Very nicely renovated
Rooms were small
