grounds are lovely, comfortable bed, nice room, great restaurant
all was fine
Lovely accommodations and property.
Restaurant food was truly average. Setting is pretty but the food was uninspired. Good wine list. Host sat everyone who arrived at the same table, no view and everyone asked to move. Waiter was young and quite full of himself. Have rarely seen so many eyes roll in the same room. Would recommend the hotel but not restaurant.
Charming Inn. Both restaurants were excellent. Grounds were lovely.
If you're interested in going to Yountville, St. Helena, Calistoga, Napa and tons of winery's, it's better to be off hy. 29. The road from Santa Rosa over to that area took about 3o min. and is a bit curvey.
Restaurant was really good.
Room was comfortable.
No tea or coffee making facility in room. Decor was dull-very beige! Location rather odd, neither rural or urban.
Restaurant service was awful and in fact because of it by the time we finished breakfast (around 12:30) we were rushed to check out even after requesting a late check out accommodation. Ultimately making it impossible to really enjoy the property, which was the reason we paid the premium to stay here in the first place.
The room was lovely, staff attentive and friendly, dinner and breakfast were delicious.
Vintners inn is wonderful- I never want to stay anywhere else!
Location. The bed and room as a whole. The restaurant.
The lighting is very poor and so hard for reading.
This is our third time staying at Vinters inn and we love everything about it!
Looked right in the wine country.
Our room wasn't ready and we had to wait to check in.
The small, beautiful setting, even though it is close to the highway. And the attached restaurant is first class.
I really liked the charming layout of the property and the location right up,next to the vineyard. The room was very clean spacious comfortable. We had a very lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant. Excellent meal, great staff!
I could hear the people in the room above walking about, loudly. Could use some sound proofing there. Fortunately they didn't move around much or I wouldn't have gotten any sleep.
Vitners staff is excellent, and the Inn makes you feel like you've escaped to Italy.
Santa Rosa is still a big town, and I missed the intimacy of some of the other towns.
The room was very romantic with the view on the vineyard and the fireplace. The food was excellent.
The bed was not comfortable because the mattress was to soft.
We loved the comfort of the furnishings, the wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, and the sincereness of the staff to accomodate.
The lack of an elevator to the second floor presented just a little challenge.
The rooms were spacious ans very comfortable. The bathroom/tub luxurious
No swimming pool and the fitness room was not well equipped. There were very few weights and machines.
Staff was very friendly. We showed up mid-afternoon before check in time and our room wasn't ready. We were hungry coming from SFO, and when asking about places to go, reception said they'd be happy to have the kitchen serve us on the outside patio or in the restaurant. Which we thoroughly enjoyed, and the room was ready before our food was even served.
Nothing of note.
Loved the ambiance and being in the midst of the vineyard. Free wifi and parking was great.
It would have been nice if breakfast was included.
accommodations, location, setting, gourmet cuisine, friendly staff, nightly turn-downs, private patio
Walking through vineyards, eating at the restaurant, strolling the grounds gave us a lovely sense of being elsewhere. We felt pampered, but not intruded upon.
Upkeep of grounds was very good. It was user friendly. Room was comfortable.
Room needs coffee maker and microwave.
excellent place to stay
The ease of getting there. The spacious rooms. The pretty grounds and jogging trail. The restaurant.
You could hear a little freeway noise when our balcony door was open.
Very close to wine country, beautiful grounds. Outstanding restaurant, friendly staff.
Tired rooms, needs some updating. Dark in guest rooms, poor lighting. Too close to highway and power plant.
