Room was clean and amenities were great.
We booked a room with king size bed. We reached the hotel at noon and our room was not ready till 4 PM. They asked us to accept a room with two small beds or wait till 4 PM. We came back to the hotel at seven and were told that all rooms were booked and we had to get a room with two small beds. That was not very comfortable.
Could not get the wifi to work longer than 1 minute. When it did work, soo slow I could not even get their page open for help. Could not even get the pay wifi to work. Super 8 was 1/3 the price & 10x faster for the ferr wifi. No help from the staff!
The space of the room was nice. The view of the top floor was nice. The king bed was nice (but I did not want a king bed; I wanted 2 beds).
I was very disappointed with the staff. I booked a double room (2 beds) through booking.com but since I arrived at 11 pm, those rooms were full and instead they provided me with a king bed claiming that with booking.com it is a reservation not guarantee which made no sense to me. I was told this by 2 different people, really disappointing. So the staff said that I can provide you a roll-up bed. Next thing I knew a staff member knocked on my door with blankets and pillows and said that this was the best they could offer. Truly disappointing. The bathroom door was not the best; I had difficulties with locking it. The wallpaper was tearing.
Old looking furniture and dirty smelly carpets ...
We had problems finding parking due to a concert that was held next door. We drove around the parking lot for over 30 minutes waiting for someone to leave just so we can park our car. The desk clerk was not helpful.
Location to downtown and national parks.
Good gym and pool facilities. Friendly and helpful staff
The hotel still shows signage for a Chinese restaurant which apparently closed some time ago. This is inaccurate and looks sloppy
Stay is always pleasant at Visalia Marriott. Rooms are very comfortable. Staff deserve praise for good customer service.
We were satisfied. No complaints.
The staff was very welcoming and accoodating. Their service was great, esp considering how busy they were during our stay because the hotel was sold out for a convention that weekend. They did an awesome job taking care of everyone!
Too many people the weekend I stayed, but that was not in their control. Not too many restaurant selections near hotel.
Everything was good
No continential breakfast for the price The blowdryer was very dated
Convenience to the places I needed to go and the restaurant, etc.although for breakfast would have preferred smaller portions or ability to order less.
Carson (Front Desk Trainee) He's a keeper. Also an employee from Farmersville (name tag) volunteered to deliver a fridge to our room! Awesome gesture!
The hotel was very clean. The pool area clean and the pool is a nice size, good parking, My family really enjoyed the stay
That the hotel only has one entrance, I think you should not have to go through the main lobby only especially if you are just coming from the pool soak and wet and you have people checking in at the same time.
It was comfortable and the staff were courteous! The only problem was the pool which we could not use for our entire trip because they had trouble balancing the water. Otherwise, the staff were great and the hotel room was just fine. Location is great too in case you want to be traveling to Sakoia National Park, it is less than 40 miles away. There were nice restaurants in walking distance and the food at the hotel was very good too!
